So with this new ESL, plus threat by Uefa to ban participating club. It simply mean Ole will no longer be winning his "we made top 4 and qualified for CL trophy" this season ....

I believe most coaches no support am, but I've not read any news that a coach revolted. I mean, that's not part of his/their job description so why would he rally the players to revolt. If really he did that he can be sacked without compensation (cos that's breach of contract on his part), but we know mourinho can't forfeit his compensation

Mourinho is never shy to speak out against the club hierarchy, report said he told Daniel Levy about his opposition to ESL. I don't know about the training ground boycott though, the true details will come out soon.

These are clubs managed majorly by fans , not some greedy American capitalist.

Maybe not now, but eventually when they see the kind of money participating clubs are making. As selfish as the whole idea is, this club owners have been planning this for years and probably have all the legal and financial difficulties sorted. Football go be one kind come next season, make we still dey observe....

The first casualty will be the UEFA Champions League as people round the world won't be interested in watching Everton battle Valencia when you can watch Real vs Man City on the Super League telecast. Subsequently however, the national leagues will be affected as less and less money is generated (especially if the Super League teams are kicked out as threatened).

Spot on Doc, sadly their is nothing Uefa can do about this. Even their treat of banning players of participating clubs from playing in Fifa and Uefa competitions might not work. English Big Clubs have been complaining about PL TV broadcast revenue sharing formula, now they have the chance of making more money. I think the next move for English big Clubs would be to negotiate their own TV broadcast license, as is it in Spain with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. Make we dey observe as e dey go...

Europa League is far superior to Carling cup, Fa cup or community shield but for a coach of Mourinho caliber, Europa is not a major trophy he can be proud of.

Messi and Barcelona just won the copa del rey yesterday, and the celebration was loud. Our Club has gone trophyless for almost 3 season, yet una dey deceive unaselves with this "Europa is not a trophy Mourinho should be proud of" line. Mourinho never boosted about winning it sef, na we fans wey celebrate him achievement dey brag about it. 1. We lose at Old Trafford to Burnley

2. Leicester reach the FA cup final...

In all, I'm certain it will reach 20,000 if;

1. PSG or Chelsea wins the UCL final

2. Chelsea wins the FA cup

3. If we bottle another semi final or don't win the UEL...

God willing, we will all be here to witness it...

Why everybody dey vex for here? It's like the angel of vayolence is camped here...This thread used to be peaceful until we crashed outta the UCL and allowed City take a comfortable lead over us on the EPL log...Not forgetting the FA cup quarter final defeat to Leicester...

My own is that Ole (my own wahala) and the players (some people wahala) are mad, they're the angels of vayolence I talked about above...
