Serifat, a graduate of Business Administration, Lagos State University (LASU), left her residence at No 116 Ezeagwu Street, Ojo Road, by Alao Bus-stop, Ajegunle, around 5am without disclosing to anybody where she was going to.
Before her disappearance, Serifat was given N500,000 (cash) by her parents to start up a business of her own since she couldn’t gain a meaningful employment 11 years after her graduation.She was said to have left her house that day with the money, then mysteriously disappeared.

The four other occupants of the chopper that crashed on saturday are: Dauda Tsoho, an aide to Governor Patrick Yakowa of Kaduna and Warrant Officer Mohammed Kamal, an aide to former National Security Adviser, Owoye Azazi, and the pilots, Commander Muritala Mohammed Daba and Lt. Adeyemi O. Sowole.

According to Nigerian Entertainment,Nollywood was missing in action on Saturday, December 15, 2012 when the remains of late Nollywood actor, Enebeli Elebuwa arrived in the country.The body which was safely kept in a brown casket, arrived at about 3pm at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja and was received by the children and few members of the family.

The actor’s colleagues, executives from the AGN, and friends who had been paying tributes since he passed on were conspicuously missing, as his remains were moved away in a make-shift Mercedes Benz ambulance.

Burial arrangements are yet to be made available by the family members.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Aminu Lamido, son of the Jigawa state governor at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, for money laundering.
According to Channels TV, an undisclosed sum of $40,000 was found on him as he prepared to board an Egypt bound flight.

Sources close to the Commission told Channels TV that Lamido was flagged after he declared $10,000 in his possession to agents of the Nigerian customs at the airport. Further checks by the agents revealed that he had an additional $40,000 which he did not declare.

He is now being detained by the EFCC.
