A fast-rising disk jockey, Michelle Abesin, on Thursday reportedly drowned at a beach in Lagos.

According to reports making the rounds on the internet revealed that the incident happened at a popular beach in Lagos where she was swept away by the ocean.

The sister of the 21-year-old DJ took to her Instagram page to confirm the incident.

On her Instagram story, the aggrieved sister shared a picture of Michelle with the caption, “God why? Ahh Michelle”, accompanied with crying emojis.

The disc jokey’s sister also stated that people watched on while her sister drowned. She wrote, “My sister did not deserve this, I can’t breathe. They all stood there and watched her drown. God where’s my sister?? Where’s her body?”

Viano Ejiro the last son of the late Nollywood director, Chico Ejiro is dead.

The young Ejiro passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021.

According to several reports, Viano has been battling cancer for years.

Pastor of the fountain of life church, Taiwo Odukoya who lost his wife on the 8th of November to cancer was seen on Sunday morning worshiping God on the alter.

You will recall that this is his second wife he is loosing, the first was Bimbo Odukoya who died in the Sosoliso plane crash and now Nomthi who he married from South Africa who died  after a 2 year battle with cancer. He was married to Nomthi for 11years and they had two children together.

His son, Jimmy Odukoya shared a video of his father worshiping God less than a week after loosing his wife.

Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eyes’ Season 6 finalist, Cross, was arrested in South Africa.

According to Cross, the South African police arrested him for violating a curfew.

In a post on social media, Cross revealed that the South Africa Police stopped him; he was unaware there was a curfew, and they took him to their office.

To facilitate his release, Cross lied to them about having a South African name — Siyabonga.

Cross also told them it was his first time visiting the country. Cross added that he had thought they would not free him, but that he is a free man now.

“So SA, I got stopped by your police,” he said.




“Apparently, there’s a curfew. They took me to their office. So guys I tell them say I get SA name called Siyabonga.

“And that it’s my first time in SA. And they smile and I think they wan let us go ooo. Omo Japa.

My bed they call me. Thanks guys. We free now,” he wrote.

Nigeria's ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC)  has listed conditions former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, must meet to be fully accepted and integrated into the party.

According to the Director-General of the APC Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), Dr Salihu Moh Lukman, FFK will need to register from his ward, identify with the party chieftains in his state and more importantly demonstrate tolerance and respect for opinions of leaders and members of the party if he is to be fully accepted in the party.

The PGF DG, in a statement he issued in Abuja on Sunday, September 19, also  revealed that party members are angry with the red-carpet reception President Muhammadu Buhari gave to FFK when he decamped from the PDP to APC.

The statement titled: ‘APC’s high-profile membership recruitment and issues for 2023’, read: “A major challenge of high-profile political party membership recruitment, like that of Fani-Kayode, is the issue of getting those recruited to be accountable. How can the party ensure that newly recruited high-profile members moderate themselves such that it is the party that control them and not the other way round?




“While it is easy to control people that are already constraint by legal provisions on account of statutory responsibilities such as governors and legislators, individuals like Fani-Kayode, who are only responsible to themselves, would be difficult to manage. It is therefore important that APC members prepare to engage Fani-Kayode to ensure that he is accountable to our leaders, our party organs and by extension, Nigerians.




“A reformed Fani-Kayode should be an accountable personality, both to the party and to Nigerians. On no account should Fani-Kayode ever imagine that he has come to APC to conduct himself uncontrollably. He must be accountable to our leadership and all our party structures.
