31-year-old Kechi Okwuchi shares her recovery journey 14 years after plane crash.

On December 10, 2005, Kechi Okwuchi, a 16-year-old high school senior was aboard the famous Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 that crashed that killed 107 people on board.
She was one of only two survivors. All of her classmates perished, leaving her the lone student survivor.

She shared the photos showing how far she has come.

According to information shared on Facebook, Stanslous Mubanga Musonda lost his life on Friday, 16th July 2021. This is the sake day his wife Barbra Muuka Ndulu was in labour.

On receiving information concerning death of her husband, she was so much affected and she also died on Monday, 19th July 2021. This was the third day since Stanslous was reported dead.


Barbra was serving as a Community Development Officer in the Ministry of Community Development. She and her husband were blessed with two other daughters and the two-day old baby.

The family of comedienne, Mmesoma Mercy Nnadi aka Ada Jesu, has released her obituary.

The comedienne will be laid to rest in Oguta, Imo state on Friday, May 28. A Christian Wake Keep on Thursday, May 27.

Ada Jesus who had been battling with a protracted Kidney ailment, suffered a cardiac arrest on Tuesday night, April 20, and died on Wednesday, April 21.

May her soul rest in peace, amen!

The Nigerian Army has said that Adamu Galadima, who was arrested for the kidnap and murder of 6-year-old Mohammed Kabir, was dismissed in 2013 for attempted murder.

Galadima, was paraded alongside three other accomplices at the Kaduna Police headquarters on Monday May 3, for killing Kabir after collecting a ransom of N1m from his parents.




The Director, Army Public Relations, Brig-Gen, Mohammed Yerima, stated in a release on Tuesday, May 4, that the suspect was duly dismissed from the Nigerian Army after a General Court Marshal that held in Kaduna found him guilty of attempted murder. Read full statement below:




The attention of the Nigerian Army has been drawn to a video which has gone viral on the social media alleging that a soldier, Lance Corporal Adamu Galadima, was involved in an alleged case of kidnapp and murder of his neighbour's child after collecting the sum of N5m as ransom.

The Nigerian Army wishes to state that the information contained in the video is not true. Contrary to the claim, Lance Corporal Adamu Galadima was duly dismissed from the Nigerian Army in 2013 after a General Court Marshal that held in Kaduna had found him guilty.

His last unit was 2 Provost Group where he was involved in a case of attempted murder leading to his arrest and prosecution before the General Court Marshal in Kaduna.

After his dismissal, Adamu found his way to Kaduna State Environmental Services where he secured a job as a cleaner.

He is therefore, not a personnel of Nigerian Army as at April 2021 when he committed the alleged crime.

The Nigerian Army remains a disciplined organisation that will not condone any unprofessional conduct on the part of its officers and soldiers.

The general public is therefore urged to ignore the misleading story currently being shared in the social media.

The sister of Dorathy Yohanna, one of the three Greenfield University, Kaduna students killed by bandits, has been thrown into mourning.


Dorathy, two other students, Sadiq Yusuf Sanga and Precious Nwakacha, were killed by armed bandits few days after their abduction.


It would be recalled that the bandits broke into the private university located along the Kaduna-Abuka Highway in Chikun Local Government Area on Tuesday night, April 20, shooting sporadically before whisking an unspecified number of students away.


The abductors later contacted their parents to demand a collective ransom of N800 million. The remains of the three students were found at Kwanar Bature village, a location close to the university on Friday, April 22.



Taking to Twitter on Saturday, Sim said her family is shattered over the senseless murder of her sister.
