Worst aspect is that partime job can't even be enough to survive on when ur in the expensive town or regions... More to talk of paying fees... Then u will fail to abide by your visa rules ohhh that na trouble when you start missing classes... And eventually pay when u fail a course and apply for repeat... Bro and sis one gots to use his head here... No matter how u work bro the employer will like to take advantage of u.. Some will pay less for a job because u got no option than to take it since your on a red line..

2. Being unmarried seems to be a big disadvantage? cos their permanent ties to nigeria seems to mean if you have immediate family( their immediate family seems to be wife , kids( from marriage or de facto relationship)
Even if you mentioned your parents( some of us our only mention of parents was in our NPC birth cert and that page on form 157A where you will mention family member.

Secondly they rank your age bracket according to your level of study... For instance 18-23 of age arr expected for 572 and 573, and 24 to Methuselah are expected for 573 and phd..over there each age bracket have they level of study. On a contral base if ur in the age bracket of 573 and ur opting for a 572 YOU SHOULD HAVE A SOLID WORKING EXPERIENCE u can't just be doing nothing from 18 that it was assumed over there that u left ur parents till 26 or 27 that your opting for 572.. And the funny aspect is that if they deny your visa it will not increase there salary and if they grant u...it will not increase they salary. Now they are introducing ssvp...they school that will be in level one and two are the expensive schools wollongong griffith unsw name them and the ones that will be in level 3-4 will be the ones we love to go.college.. For instance earn an advance diploma in engineering score 75 in pte plus the origianl or fake work experice u have that u used in securing ur visa and I will see u score 80 in your subclass 189 and there is ur p.r what the heck will I be pomping 14,000×4 just for p.r and ur paid pennies for job over there.. Not that ur even skilled here no handiwork wee I sabi..then I go come dey sleep with person of my mama age just for p.r Am just saying thatbAugustine was judged base on his chances of p.r nothing more

Now let's get down to business. I want to make it clear that just because your course of study is under 572 svp doesn't make it cheaper when compared to that of 573. because I read where Triggered... was implying that.

Secondly, while you're in Australia and you find it hard to pay your fees you can apply to pay bits by bits. How do I know this? I asked questions from the finance department in my school.

Furthermore, if worse comes to worse you can defer. I've seen students defer a semester.

In addition to all that's written above, if you can provide Statement of account that shows that you're financially stable please do.

Finally from what I've observed while reading Pretoria's decision on student it seems 572 is a trap. if possible any visa applicant from this Region (Africa) and Nigeria should apply under Al3/573.

Education in Australia is expensive we all know that.
Understand where am from before you know where am heading to.
Mark my words:
1. It seems you work for one of these establishments I acertain these from the way u talk... Because you have failed to understand that 80% of people you see in these forum is targeting towards permanent residence... And will use the shortest route to achieve that in a short time because we are Nigerians.
2. The remaining 20% is targeting the both education and permanent resident.
3. To be Frank with you no 573 course is below 10000aud except msc project management and MBA of which u will be narrowed down to a Nigerian agent who will extort nearly 100-150k from you, add your oshc and other expenses u will be arriving at close to 2 million Naira (not minding the exchange rate) and the rest pinging 14-16,oooaud when u don't waive courses which will shorten your stay to gain there by disqualifying you of graduate visa. And these can never be compared to other advance diploma which is highest 6-7,000aud, of which my chosen course is the highest based on my research is equally 10,000aud.. Oshc and others not included..
4. Broda if 572 is a trap... What about the past gurus in these forum that was granted visa on this forum... What about personal individuals that we might know out of these forum that is in Australia through 6,000aud course per six months...
5. In every decision there must be an error... Noting is perfect in life but we can make adjustments towards change.. The koko is that ur not being given a visa cos they have acertain your points on a 184 abi185 visa after you finished your course and saw that u passed the average point which is 60... So they will just conclude that you are aiming at p.r just stop saying that 152 is a trap... It's just the situation of things in our country.. And the number of Nigerian students that have immigrations issues.. Is increasing due to sugar coating of poison that our so called agents do..
6. Do you know that as your paying your fees your paying for two other Australian citizens Just try and get things from the horses mouth.
7. Do you even know that 60% of Australian citizen font even have a degree from age 23-40... Reason is just that they believe in what you can do...skill that's why some valued 70% valued courses in Nigeria is never on there SOL....
8. We won't lie about these:

Well I can't judge but believe me the agents will not open ur eyes to see the real thing about Australia allbthey want is they 4-7000aud commission.
When u get to the school...u will start having immigration problems..when ur in d rope to pay upto 14,000aud as fees withing 4months of leaving here...

1) ur family ties to Nigeria was not strong enough to convince d C.O

2) ur proposed academic field of study also shot u in d leg.....because the C.O did a comparative study of the long term benefits of your choice course of study in relation to u satisfying d long term financial obligations with out being a burden to the Australian government.( if i may ask.....what course did u put in for)?

3) The C.O was not satisfied with ur source of income(the registered company) because he feels there ain't no strong ties b/w u, the registered company, and returning back to Nigeria.


so take a chill pill, read through dat letter thoroughly, & amend d grey areas.

I lodged my Australia student Visa application with the Teleperformance center in Ghana on 10th Novermber.
Post graduate research Visa Type 574 ( scholarship)
Course starts 7th march 2016

Till date i have not received any email from the embassy, not even acknowledgement. I thought the process was a bit faster.
I have already sent an email to pretoria enquiring about my application twice but no response.

Interestingly i was not charge any application fees by the Teleperformance center. I was told application fees have been scrapped for this type of visa. I was only asked to pay the service fees.

Can you please advise me on what to do next? or just to wait.

I want to migrate to australia through masters in Electrical Engineering. I read elect elect bsc in unilag with a 3.0/5. I also want to use the post study 2 yrs and also process my PR from there. My service will start june/july 2016 to may/june 2017. I dont have work experience. I am planning my masters resumption with july 2017 in take.

1. I am planning to write my ielts by december 2016. I also want to use the same ielts result for all my processing there, ie student visa, scholarships/internships available, 2 years post study visa and finally PR(189 visa). I ve read that to get PR, the ielts result has a validity of 3 years, how true is this?
Will this be possible to use the same ielts result especially till the PR stage

2. Is transiting from student visa to the 2 years post study 485 visa an easy process? Hence howlong does it take? Can i use the remaining visa time after my msc to get it. Will it be an easy process? Can someone tell me the neccesary conditions and documents required for it? Will it be an easy process. I ve read about it from other sites, but i m quite scared on this plan, so can an experienced person tell me/ give me assurance.

3. My plan on getting the PR is
Age: 30
Australian qualification: 15
2 years study in australia: 5
Regional area: 5
Ieslt of min 7: 10

My bsc is of 4 years cos i came through direst entry from diploma to 200 level.
I read about getting skill assessment from engineers australia. Will my bsc status with 4 years from nigeria cause any problems even with my msc from australia in the same course.

Finaly, i also read that to use the independent 189 visa(no work experience) the final qualification should be at most 6 months before PR application. How fast will the previois applications be to enable me still get 3 years ielts validity(if i write it in latest jan 2017) in order to apply for the PR.

I am suprised reading down, i have not seen many apply through this route(2 yrs aus msc with no experience) Someone pls rate my plans and chances of getting a PR on a 100 scale. I ll gladly glady appreciate. Thanks for even taken time to read down. Responses are warmly welcomed.

@masmek2016 I proceeded to make my payment using First Bank, I was debited after 3days of payment, thinking it was all over until dem debit second round d following day, as if it was not enough, the bank called me via telephone to credit my account again for I still want to debit more.... I don dey vex @ this time but I had no choice even if they wan 419 me, make dem sha debit so as for me to go to the next stage.
After everything I was sent a Telex copy of my transaction and Globalpay sent me a msg on the 5day that they have received my payment and it has been sent to my account in the University of Newcastle, believing that after 3 to 5 working days I should get my ECOE but it didn't come ....
I waited for 2weeks thinking that they were processing it. I got worried and decided to call UON, all they told me was that they haven't receive any payment with my student I'd and they can't give me a ECOE....
(I think you should be dead ) My head don hot ... I don dey fear, abi naso my 2million go enter water..

I decided to contact western globalpay and they told me that the university should check their account for they have sent the money to them since on the 13th of November 2015.... At last to cut the long story short! Na globapay do mistake for my student I'd and it was corrected and my coe was sent to me on the 27th Nov which is d next day. Na wetin make me apply late be dat oo.. I applied on the 30th of Nov and its just 2weeks 3days now... Make una pray for me ooo....

are you still alive all these while you they said they haven't gotten the money; D
