Pls how do you alert the mod.? this is a front page material, in this country of millions of unemployed youth going through a lot of psychological turmoil, this is what is needed to boost their morales and let them know that there is (hope) light at the end of the tunnel. @inno10 may God bless you abundantly. This write up could save the life of someone somewhere thinking of suicide or crime (which is another form of suicide).

Also, the igbos, they say, originated from Edo.The will fight and argue with you if u tell them..lol That's why have names like Osadebe etc

That was my initial thought but while Osadebe (igbo) and Osadebamwen (edo) have the same meaning (God is with me). Etiosa(yoruba) and Etinosa (edo) are not even closely related in meaning so i beg to disagree with you.

Please can someone help me with the meaning of Etiosa in yoruba language. in edo language it means strength of God. ETI- strength, OSA-God. Some people even bear it as their name in Benin but I was surprise to see Eti-Osa LGA in Lagos state, so i believe it could have another meaning in yoruba or maybe another link between the Edos and the Yorubas.

In ~~Igboland~~ (well, in my community at least), if a woman bears a child out of wedlock, the child would be seen as a descendant of its grandfather (and not the father) and would answer the grandfather's name, almost as if its biological father never existed. It's this same concept that gave birth to the old practice of fathers without male children permitting their daughters to be impregnated by a man out of wedlock, so as to take the [male] child as their own son.

i know of a family who had only two daughters, the first got pregnant out of wedlock and gave birth to a baby boy who was adopted as the family heir and despite the biological father pleading and crying to be allowed to marry the daughter, the family has refused, thereby denying him any claim to the baby boy.

i use to have a sadist as a boss, he was so emotionally abusive but i tolerated him because my fellow hods were always standing up for me but he used my absence due to bed rest because of a multiple pregnancy to blackmail me before my colleagues and shortlisted my name for downsizing, even though it was against the wishes of other management staff he went ahead to forward my name to our head office, i was laid off my job when i was still in the hospital after undergoing cs for the birth of my beautiful triplet. my crime was that i was not the one he wanted to head my department despite the fact that i was more qualified so he tried frustrating me.

I want 2 commend de effort of the Owelle so far but i am a bit confused, why move IMSU from owerri zone when you have decided to establish 2 new universities, is it not better to give de new schools 2 okigwe and orlu zones and relocate imsu to a permanent site in Owerri zone? Or should owerri zone be expecting another(new) university?
