Nigerian pastor, Tim Omotosho slammed with 22 sex charges, as 18 more victims come out


Nigerian televangelist appeared in a South African court on Wednesday facing 22 charges of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Tim Omotoso, 58, was arrested on April 21 when he landed in Port Elizabeth, initially facing two charges of sexual assault and two of trafficking.

On Wednesday, 18 more people had laid charges. Omotoso will return to court on Thursday to apply for bail. ​Omotoso ​of the Jesus Dominion International Church in Durban, ​is accused of sexually abusing young girls at his luxury home.


He allegedly handpicked the girls and instructed them to live in his house where they were forced to have unprotected sex with him​. ​You can find out more info on the link below.

He was arrested after being on the run for several days for sexually abusing over 30 underaged female members of his church.

Lagos State Government seals off Tony Rapu’s church

The Lagos State Government has allegedly approved the sealing of a Lekki-based Church, christened ‘The Dome’ in Lekki Phase 1, for violating building regulations.

The church which is headed by popular pastor, Dr. Tony Rapu.

According to a statement by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Anifowoshe Abiola, the owners of the church contravened the Lagos State Regional and Urban Planning Law 2010 by building without title documents and necessary building permits. .

The commissioner stated that the church had no Planning permit to construct the building adding that the fence of the church fence was in the right of way of Freedom Road (which is currently under construction) and also directly under the high-tension wires.

'I have no hand in the assassination attempt on Dino Melaye' - Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello


Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has denied claims that he had a hand in the assassination attempt on Senator Dino Melaye. Suspected assassins attacked Melaye's home on April 15th. After the attack, Dino alleged that the state government had a hand in the assassination attempt on his life.

He claimed that he was attacked because he was always opposing some of the policies of the governor.

Denying Melaye's claim, Governor Bello who spoke through his media aide,Kingsley Fanwo over the weekend, told newsmen that the allegations by Dino were baseless and indefensible.

“Senator Melaye and his group should not see Kogi as their fishing point. Their allegation against the governor is reckless, unsustainable, uncharitable and indefensible” he said

Yahaya says he would not be distracted by the baseless accusations from Dino and his supporters.
