I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinions in this election. It's totally unacceptable to abuse people that support GEJ, that's wrong. My friend use your facts, dont quarrel with your dad, just politely pass your point across. God bless. |
Now that's interesting. |
Why is it that alot of pple online can't be civil. |
At this point in time in the history of our nation, we all must come together and support the govt at the centre. There is no point rejoicing over the breakdown of law and order. For Nicolas Sarkozy to put aside his political ambition and support President hollande during the crisis in France, shows alot of maturity. We all must support the Federal Govt in this war, at least till may 29. Remember Nigeria is our home. |
This are my issues with this buhari gate scandal 1) why take so long to release your certificate if your innocent 2) most of you in nairaland, your certificates don't look that tattered or battered. 3) if buhari used an affidavit to contest previously, that's fine, but this is 2015. 4) he who comes with equity must come with clean hands. He can't fight corruption if he has all this irregularities. |
Small small the truth is coming out. |
Now that's an insightful article. |
That's so sad, rip |
Nice pictures, |
This is what I don't like about this guy. He should have held the press conference a long time ago. What's there in providing a copy of your certificate. Why the time wasting # show your certificate buhari. |
Nice read, very valid points. |
Duly noted |
At op, there are 3 tins involved 1) your a xtain and you friend is a runs man 2) you are a kill joy 3) why the guilty conscience To be honest you no try, for him to ask you means that you have similar tendencies, lol. |
Some peeps are trying to cover up for their boss buhari, who can't even remember the name of his running mate, .hmmm. I watched that video, and I was very disappointed, how some people are inspired by this man still baffles me. |
If you grew up in the 70's that's good. But to me the worse form of democracy is better than the best form of military govt. And yes there is corruption in Jonah's govt, but just look at apc, Tom ikimi, atiku, audu ogbeh, just to mention a few and you sincerely think they can change Naija? Okay oh! I grew up in the 80's And it was so sad the way the military destroyed our nation. You nay ignore all my previous posts, just answer this question 1) would Naija be better off if buhari had not truncated our democracy? A) yes b) no I rest my case. |
With all due respect your points are valid. Just answer this question, in apc, in pdp, in Nigeria is he the best we can offer. I said earlier on that JFK put America on the moon, Obama provided Obama care, even Jonah fixed our railway. Why do you people keep insisting on recycling leaders. I repeat it they have gone out of their way to blow up Nigeria just to make Jonathan looked vulnerable and weak. And it makes me feel sad. The reason why I endorse Jonathan is his ability to atleast fix some things despite all these distractions. Just answer me is buhari the best we can offer? Why should coup plotters be allowed to govern us? Am in my 30's when will my generation rule Nigeria. Gowon was in his 30's when he ruled naija. What about you? |
At administer. You say buhari was petroleum minister and member of opec sub committee, please tell me what oil and gas degrees does he have, or was he one of those people that go to opec meeting to make up the numbers. Please travel outside naija and see the petroleum ministers of other countries and observe their contributions. The only way people like him can occupy positions is through the back door through coups. Does he even have o levels or its equivalent, or else why has he not shown us. |
To be honest, Jonah is not the best option for us. But when compared to buhari, tah the difference is clear. How can president Jonathan just be lucky, he gas fixed most roads, our railways, created 9 Fed universities, just to mention a few. There is freedom of speech, movement and association. Regarding the insurgency, when buhari came out to support boko haram and say that Jonathan is bombing them via ihejirika I totally write him off. His statements don't show sincerity. Nigeria has always had security issues since the time of abacha, if most of our past leaders had addressed the insecurity in our nation we won't be here. Now let me ask you if we had democracy since 1983, can you imagine how our lives would be? Let's be real, some people supporting buhari can't remember what it meant to live under military dictatorship. Do you think you could express yourself like this during the military era? For 8yrs obasanjo couldn't fix the railways, couldn't create Fed universities. Yet he had experience, was a former head of state. Now you actually think buhari can represent us. JFK Kennedy was in his 40's when he sent America to the moon. Cameron and Obama both took office in their 40's, when will our generation lead Nigeria, please tell me. |
Wonders shall never end. This politicians are just using our heads oh! |
As a petroleum engineer, buhari's statement on stabilizing the oil market in 2015 is both ridiculous and naive to say the least. 1) the are many major oil producers in the world eg Canada (oil sands) , arctic region, Norway etc. Furthermore, at the moment even countries with large reservoirs like Saudi Arabia and Iran can't pull off such a stunt let alone Nigeria that is the 7 th or 8 th largest producer. Without being biased, this man is out if his depths whenever comes to managing a diverse economy like Nigeria. His ideas are not only outdated and primitive, but out rightly shameful to put it kindly. I feel disappointed in apc's candidates, an oshiomole and fashola ticket would have blown away pdp to hell and back. Apc is not ready to win this election. Let's put ethnicity aside and use competent people. I know their supportes will come after me, so I say bring it on. |
True talk |
No bias intended, but this is a step in the right direction. Let's keep our naira in the country and reduce foreign investments. By reducing foreign investments, this means investing a large percentage of our naira in indigenous firms. Thereby, developing our nation, creating jobs and ststabilizing our naira. |
Spoken like a true kuti, your indeed a true son of your father. |
I am a married man, and I can't advice you to marry a lady that 1) causes a scene 2) uses hurtful words 3) equates sex to money That lady is gonna hurt you real bad, Mark my words. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Except you don't have intentions to become great in life, then marry her. |
Wow |
Okay |
Interesting |
Lol, thanks everyone. I am grateful for all your advice. I just needed to clear my head, God bless you all. Thanks nairaland. |
Hey evina, am actually enjoying this talk. Number one, na only me dey work oh, Number two, let me ask you have you ever lived outside naija, even if na masters. When you live with your parents it's easy to do certain things with ease. I actually feel very sad this year, because I didn't send any cash or things back home as Xmas present to ny folks. That's life. Believe me, I am a giver, maybe not in millions of naira, but atleast thousands. When or if you get married we will talk again. My wife is on study leave from her bank in Naija. I have been paying transport fare ( train) to school 3 Times a week. Am not complaining, what I just don't get if why all the condemnation, if I need money now will you or your Leaders give me, question? If we were both working then it's a different matter. |
Today am off work so let's all talk @ evina and marvellous The 10 percent doesn't matter, the issue is that I need to control my life style. Wifey won't agree to do any menial or questionable job, I don't want her to have that experience. I need to clear all my debts fast, how can I be entering a new tear with debt. God forbid. I want to clear everything, credit cards, Bills, everything. Listen to me I have lived outside naija for close to 5 yrs, I don't go borrowing, I like my peace of mind. Furthermore, late next year, we need to renew our visa, more money (Times two), Wifey and I have tried this living by faith policy, I believe God, but as I said I got no savings, no emergency funds. Haba. I don't believe in living in denial, that's the height of stupidity. |
@ evina, sincerely speaking, there are sine things that I hear that make me laugh. I have been married for over 1 yr now. Part of what has caused me being in debt now is my failure to be firm when it matters. Over the last year we have been living above our means, as a nice guy that believes I should provide the best for my family I have done my duties. Please answer me what is 10 percent. wifey will day pay your tithe, when it's middle of the month and we need money to pay Bills or buy food she will start nagging . Let me ask you have you travelled outside naija? No one here gives a damn even the so called religious leaders. As am speaking now, I ain't git savings, haba is that life. Going into 2015, I have resolved to cut my coat according to my size. Please us that a sin. I started paying tithe as early as 16yrs for your information. Am asking for matured answers and I have got them. Normally I don't do this, recently we went to see someone And I didn't have enough money to pay the Cab fare. Why should I put myself through all that. I am a believer and I have prayed, this isn't lack of faith. I believe that it's time I made some changes to my life style. God forgive me. |
@ dahmie2013, thanks alot |
