YourMain:Latest contribution of Islam to humanity: Two bomb blasts have killed at least 10 people near two churches in a Christian neighbourhood of the Pakistani city of Lahore, local officials say. At least 50 people were reportedly hurt in the explosions at the Catholic church and Christ Church in the city's Youhanabad area. Violent protests erupted after the blasts, with large crowds already in the area to attend Sunday mass. Pakistan's Christian community has often been targeted by militants. An offshoot of the Pakistan Taliban, calling itself Jamatul Ahrar, has said it carried out the attack. Witnesses say suicide bombers were responsible for the explosions but police have not confirmed this. The bombers are said to have detonated their explosives at the gates of the churches. Local media say the death toll has reached 14. Security has been tightened after past attacks on Pakistan's churches Pakistan's large Christian minority suffers discrimination as well as militant attacks A large crowd gathered at the scene of the blasts, protesting about the lack of security. The crowd also attacked two men it accused of involvement in the explosions, killing at least one of them. Protesters carrying sticks blocked Lahore's Ferozepur Road. Local television pictures showed a bus station being attacked. 'Scuffle at church gate' Amir Masih, a witness quoted by Reuters news agency, said he had heard an explosion near one of the churches. "I rushed towards the spot and saw the security guard scuffle with a man who was trying to enter the church," he said. The man blew himself up after failing to enter the church, Mr Masih told Reuters. Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Mamnoon Hussain have condemned the latest bombings. Pakistan's military last year began an offensive against militant bases in the mountainous north-west, bordering Afghanistan. Offshoots of the Pakistani Taliban have warned of attacks in response. However, Lahore, the capital of the densely populated Punjab province, has largely escaped militant violence and is seen as a relatively peaceful city. At least 80 people were killed by bombers at a church in the Pakistani city of Peshawar in 2013, in what is thought to be the deadliest ever attack on the country's Christians. Christians make up less than 2% of Pakistan's overwhelmingly Muslim population. www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-31894708 "Mohammed is God's apostle. Abuamam:You never for once believe anything spoken about Islam, even if the quran and the hadith are quoted. Is Islam a 'religion of peace' (going by the foundation of Islam and what is currently happening in Islamic countries)? Does Islam permit apostasy (remember the sudanese woman travails)? Is islam toleranace of other faith, beliefs or religion (going by what is happening in saudi arabia and other conservative muslim countries)? Is a blood of a muslim and the blood of a non-muslim considered equal in a muslim country? Is a non-muslim entitled to an inheritance in a muslim country (even if he is a citizen of that country)? These and many more are questions you muslims willfully ignored, and fail to ask yourselves, when dealing with non-muslims. Islam is built of prejudice against non-muslims. No golden rule, as being taught by Jesus, in Islam. The golden rule says 'do unto others the way you want others to do unto you'. Do muslims treat others the way they want others to treat them? Does saudi arabia allow the building of churches in saudi arabia the way they finance the building of multi-million dollar mosques and Islamic cultural centres worldwide? Does saudi arabia, or Iran, allow free possession and distribution of bibles in their country the same way the finance the distribution of quran world wide? I leave you to judge that, if you have concience. In Islam, tolerance is meant to be a one-way trafick instead of two, as long as it serves the evil interest of Islam\muslims in their quest for world domination. "Mohammed is God's apostle. Those who follow him are harsh to the unbelievers but merciful to one another" Quran 48:29 |
An excellent summary of Islam by the op. With current internet facilities and youtube videos, no hiding place for Islamic beliefs which had been codified and encrypted for over 1400 to us 'infidels'. The OIC had submitted a memorandum to the UN to pass a global blasphemy law which will protect Islam, and its evil ideologies and history, from being criticised. The UN had thrown out such proposall many times, but the evil OIC mafia group are still trying to silence Islamic critics by sponsoring Islamic street thugs to go after offenders via jungle justice (in all muslim dominated countries) and via law suits (in europe and america, cos they are still minorities). Islam cannot stand criticism because it has no foundation to stand on. The foundation of Islam, from mohammed era to the first caliph, Abkr, is laid on the blood of the innocents. Soon after the death of the Islamic prophet, a civil war started between the household of mohammed on who will take over the mantle of leadership. Aisha (mohammed child bride and mother of muslims), together with his father (Abkr) conspired against fatimah (the only surviving daughter of mohammed) to take over the mantle of leadership of the new evil cult called Islam. The resulting civil war led to the death of mohammed's own grand children, that is fatimah's children (hassan and hussein). The aftermath of this civil war (the greatest and longest family estate battle in world history) led to the factionalization of Islam into two major ideological camps, the sunnis (aisha camp in saudi arabia) and shia (fatimah camp in Iran). No one can separate wars and genocide from the history of Islam, from inceptions till date. This is a well known fact that is being hidden from igmorant world, but with info-tech the mask of Islam will surely be unveiled. "Mohammed is God's apostle. Muslims dont like dogs. Muslims dont like cats. Muslims dont like music. Muslims dont like comedy. Muslims dont like arts and paintings. Muslims dont like sculptures muslims dont like ancient and pre-Islamic monuments. What are the things they like? "Mohammed is God's apostle. m4una:Living in a hot desert is also a contributory factor. "Mohammed is God's apostle. Those who follow him are harsh to the unbelievers but merciful to one another" Quran 48:29 |
Ifeann:Yes, I hope muslims won't say that I am quoting the verse out of context or that I dont speak arabic. That is their traditional defense mode. "Mohammed is God's apostle. Those who follow him are harsh to the unbelievers but merciful to one another" Quran 48:29 |
In secular law, all men are innocent until proven guilty in a competent court of law. In Islam, all non-muslims are guilty except they accept Islam (quran 9:5, 29-30). "Mohammed is God's apostle. Those who follow him are harsh to the unbelievers but merciful to one another" Quran 48:29 |
Ifeann:Muslims are so funny, we condemn their criminal and pedophillee boss, mohammed, while they condemn criminal pastors. So mohammed and criminal pastors are now on the same level? I can see better now. "Mohammed is God's apostle. Those who follow him are harsh to the unbelievers but merciful to one another" Quran 48:29 |
