The Transmission Company of Nigeria has announced a total collapse of the country’s electricity grid.
It, however, assured that restoration of the grid was at an advanced stage and explained that the total collapse was due to tripping of three generator units at Egbin power generation station.
The daily report on Nigeria’s power sector stated that the grid collapsed totally on Thursday, September 28, 2017, after the country generated 3,515 megawatts of electricity the preceding day.
The TCN said, “A total system collapse was recorded on September 28, 2017 at 20:03Hrs.
“Reports obtained from stations and the sequence of events generated by the SCADA system indicated that the system collapse was triggered by the tripping of Egbin Units ST4, ST6 and ST5 at ‘20:03:15, 20:03:32 and 20:03:34’ respectively.
“By this incident, the Nigerian electric power grid lost generation completely before restoration commenced at 20:22Hrs.”
TCN added that the development had left the system vulnerable to the extent that perturbations of this magnitude resulted in severe system frequency dip that culminated in system collapse.

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, has jokingly blamed Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, for “all the bad things” that happened to the country during his tenure between 1999 and 2007.
Obasanjo was speaking in Owerri, at the graduation ceremony of students of Rochas Foundation.
He said the worst advice he got while in office was from Okorocha, one of his then advisers.
“As you may all know, Rochas was one of the advisers I had when I was president,” he said.
“All the bad things that happened to this country under my presidency was advised by Rochas Okorocha,” he said.
Obasanjo however extolled the qualities of the Governor, who he said never ceased to surprise him.
“He (Okorocha) has never stopped to surprise me. He is a man of vision, of ideas. He is a thinking man. And when he explained to me his ideas about education, what he has done, I was marvelled. I doff my hat for you, Okorocha.
“Let me say this, the beginning of the development for any country is education. And the extent that we take education seriously, that is the extent that we take development seriously.
“Rochas is not just dealing with education; he is dealing with education for the underprivileged in general. Which means that if the poor and the underprivileged will rise above their disadvantaged position, it is only through education.
“And with what I have seen today, I have no regret at all to accept his offer for me to be part of this wonderful programme and wonderful development agenda to our country and for our continent,” he added.

This Point Might be disputed by few , but President Buhari (Gcfr) is
the only President that assumed the seat of the presidency with
Nigerians Voting For Him for the feeling he will be the one to
eradicate corruption in our dear country Nigeria And i can say he has
done so (Even though not to the level we had envisioned) , He has
proven his self,But this Man Governor Ayodele Fayose Has Been The Main
Opposition Of The president who is Trying To eradicate corruption in
Nigeria , The reason Is that he feels corruption shouldn't be
eradicated and that it's Part Of us(That's The only Reason I see why
he's always opposed the President) .
Please Don't Vote for someone who don't want Nigeria to be cleansed.

will ask you to do a little research online on Fayose And See For
Yourself.
For Example on checking his wilkepedia profile i found nothing that
will make me or any sane Nigerian Think of voting him as
president..(He's Always Been An Headliner For Scandals).See A List of
Them Below..
(a)Allegation of Vote Rigging.
(b)Bank Accounts Blocked by EFCC
(c)Challenged Aisha Buhari To Travel To USA(which She later did , But
He Switched His Antics).

3.Unity Of Nigeria.
There Is No Guaranty Of Nigeria Been One If Fayose Assummes The Post
Of President , He's been Widely known to be on the side of the
referendum seeking Nnamdi Kanu's,Which On A Large Scale is not
fAvourable for Nigeria's Unity.
A governor Who has Always been on the side of a disintegrating Factor
(Nnamdi Kanu) will Accept Nigeria's division If He Become President.
I believe You Wouldn't Want To Allow It.

4.Disrespect For Higher Authority.
The Governor Has Been Always Regarded Has Someone Who Has no respect
for the President By Loosely speaking And Disregard For The President.
What's The guaranty when he become president of Nigeria he wouldn't be
sending Nigeria To War Against the USA , UK , North Korea etc. By His
Already Known Acts...

5.Ideas.
Fayose Is Widely Known For His One Idea ''STOMACH INFRASTRUCTURE''
.Rather Than Come Up with Ideas That will make his state economically
viable he goes around sharing Rice to The Citizen Of His State.
How Sure are we during this economic decline of Nigeria ,this Man
vying for post of president will Not Send Nigeria crashing by adopting
Policies that wouldn't Favour Nigeria in the long Run..

Getting A Job.
But According To emerging Stastistics ,Nigeria's Unemployment Rate Is
Declining The More,So My Point is Why Are You Studying When You Might
Not Get Your Fantasized Dream Job.
Just Knock that dream Off.
2. Knowledge.
Search for Knowledge is One Of The fundamental Reason We Are Humans
and higher Beings(Not Monkeys).
But The Knowledge We Get from Attending Higher Institutions In
Nigeria Is More Or Less Nothing To Write Home About.
You Want To Gain Knowlege In The Art Of Civil Engineering But You
Don't Even Know How Bricks are Built,Theoretically Or Pratically..
Example.
My Sister Studying Industrial Chemistry Plainly Told me She Don't Know
How What She's Been Taught for four Good years Would Be Of Use to Her
in Future But She's Mandated To Do It.
Knowledge Should Be Gained To Be applied not for gaining sake.
3. Habits.
Almost 30% Of Every Nigerian higher Educated(Institutions) adult
Learnt A Bad Habit From An Higher Institution,From Smoking To
Gambling, Cultism Among Others.
Why Will You Want To Partake In A System That tend to affect You
negatively Rather Than positively.

4. Pathethic Waste Of Time.
Don't Get Angry But Why Will You attend an Institution That Wouldn't
Mean After Finishing You would Get a well Paying Job,Garner
Implementable Knowledge,And sharpen Your Lifestyle,But rather Gives
You The Almost Oppsite of what what formerly mentioned , To Me It's
rather a waste Of Time.
If You Graduated From Secondary School Latest 16 before you clock 21,
You Should have mastered a trade,business,vocation that will Not Only
give you greater chance of getting a job,Implementable knowledge and
has shapen your behavoir(You Know Our Oga Them Now).

5. Government.
We All Know How The GOVERNMENT is Making The Country educational System Sad.
Ranging From ASUU strike to other Demonic Strike..
6. Most of the Rich Men In The World Today dId'nt Attend or complete
Higher institution..
