It gave me the chills as a child [Tears of the sun] . Those things you watched happened to my people my grandparents, it was like a horror movie then, especially when you cam relate it to stories you have been told. I can stand it now tho.

It was a very realistic portrayal not really historical though because they didn't dabble with any narratives. Well you fit find am insightful sha, me I find it painful to watch.

I grew up in Aba Abia State with many Yorubas from primary school up to university level and non of them were molested or feel uncomfortable in anyway rather they all feel at home. Nobody reminded them that they are non-indigenes or referred them as immigrate the way Yoruba refer to non-Yoruba in Lagos. I remember one Bimbe that ran away from her family house to stay with her boyfriend who is my friend because her parents wanted to bring her back to Yorubaland. The South East is one of the coolest places any Nigerian can make a living. Contrary to what Yorubas think, Igbos are highly detribalized.

They don't think anything they all know the truth, it's all propaganda and gas lighting.

Culturally igbos treat strangers better than family, they make a good impression on people and they care and protect their neighbours even with their lives.

Yorubas are a very different breed, all they do is propaganda, eye servics, envy and jealousy, they cannot even mask their hatred for NDIGBO. Their homes, churches, schools, hospitals are breeding grounds for IGBOPHOBIA. They are trained and retrained to hate people who are hygienically, intellectually and genetically superior to them.

Nobody has ever disturbed non indegenes living anywhere in the east before, go to the schools they mentioned here, yorubas make friends easily as everybody wants to befriend them, about two of my classmates growing up were yorubas and we also had a Fulani girl, these guys were the most popular people in school everybody wanted to be their friends and never will you see hatred or wicked envy, only healthy competiton, academically and otherwise.

Fast forward to SW from their busstop, churches, schools everywhere omo ina omo ina, their tribalism no dey even wear mask. For school discrimination and racism dey happen everywhere from principal to teachers, to students, who feel that for omo ina to be leading the class is an abomination.

I have never known a more hateful people.
