I am sharing this video that was made 8 years here on Nairaland so as to set the record straight since some malicious users on this plarform are bent on spreading false narratives against Nnamdi Kanu regarding why he demanded for weapons in USA. All those who out of hate want the government to condemn Nnamdi Kanu to death just because he is an igbo man should remember that the fulani jihadist killings and widespread insecurity he predicted years ago is already happening in their states today. None of you will be spared from the devastating consequences of supporting injustice. |
Ejimakor, when he woke from his situation, narrated that he could not sit straight or stand as nurses at the Kuje prison are attending to him. Aloy Ejimakor, the special counsel to the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has fallen ill at the Kuje Prison, Abuja, 24 hours after the presiding judge, Abubakar Umar Sai’id, a Senior Magistrate at Kuje refused to sign the bail bond for his release. SaharaReporters learrnt that Ejimakor was unable to meet with his counsel, Barrister Maxwell Opara, during the routine visit to the facility. Ejimakor, when he woke from his situation, narrated that he could not sit straight or stand as nurses at the Kuje prison are attending to him. SaharaReporters understands that he may be transferred to the hospital. Ejimakor was arrested on Monday with 12 others including Nnamdi Kanu's younger brother, Prince Emmanuel Kanu, by the Nigerian police during the #FreeNnamdiKanuNow protest. They were thereafter teargassed, beaten and then transferred to the CID unit of State Police Command before being detained overnight at the notorious SARS cell known as Abattoir. On the following day, they were driven by the police all the way to the Kuje Magistrate without their lawyer and summarily remanded by the Senior Magistrate, Abubakar Umar Sai’id, who reportedly had a deal with the police to keep them incarcerated. Also on Friday, human rights activist and two times presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, was arraigned with Ejimakor and others. The same Magistrate granted bail and then disappeared without signing off on their bail bond. Ejimakor is said to be at the clinic being attended to at the Kuje Correctional center by some nurses, where his condition is said to be deteriorating fast. https://saharareporters.com/2025/10/25/breaking-nnamdi-kanus-special-counsel-aloy-ejimakor-collapses-kuje-prison |
In the case of Nigeria, Buhari, Tinubu and APC did not hide or disguise their tyrannical government from day one. Racoon: |
OP, your propaganda against Nnamdi Kanu has failed as he already revealed why he asked for weapons. I made a thread about this, you can open it using the link below. https://www.nairaland.com/8547752/video-why-demanded-guns-bullets |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_U85l8RrxI "Nigeria is not a civilized country, people behave like animals...." - Kanu Nnamdi Kanu clears the air on why he demanded for guns and bullets in America. |
You are funny, because you've nothing else to say in defence of Tinubu than you choose to go on cheap blackmail by lying about my profile and threads. Being a Tinubu supporter does not mean that you must comment on every thread or support all unjust illegal actions of his government. I expected you to prove how the videos I shared above were doctored or argue objectively against the fact that Nigerians are being arrested for organizing peaceful protests against Tinubu. If you have nothing to say then it is best you move on from the thread so that other users can contribute. You can create your own thread and write what ever ideas you like as I can't stop you so don't try to dictate what I post in my thread. WizardOfNG: |
Dividing Nigeria will go a long way in liberating the people because Nigerians are too tribalistic to unite and build a nation that works for everyone. Simply put, Nigeria was never meant to exist in the first place. I believe that if I-gbos are given the opportunity to form their own country, there is no region that won't want it's own country as no one will want to remain in Nigeria once the igbos leave. The political elites benefiting from one Nigeria who are largely responsible for the unjust, highly corrupt and evil entity that the country Nigeria has become will never allow their cashcow country to be dissolved. I think Nigerians can save themselves now only through a revolution that will lead to dividing the country or restructuring the country. |
No law can tell people not to protest or restrict protesters to a venue of protest. The continuous criminalization of protests in Nigeria by the Tinubu regime is a testament that the regime does not rate Nigerians one bit. They’ve so much miseducated Nigerians to the extent that they can twist laws, invent new ones and shove them down the throats of the people as they wish. The fact that protesters can be arrested for protesting is illegal, let alone prosecuting them for protesting in a particular location. That’s an insult on citizenship and democracy. No law can tell people not to protest or restrict protesters to a venue of protest. Let’s even leave law on one side. Let’s discuss logic. Protest is an expression of displeasure. It’s the opposite of “praise”. So telling people when, where and how they can express their displeasure is an insult to the people. It’s like you wanting to complain about government but the government ask you to seek permission first before complaining. And then, it is telling you that you can only complain in your houses, not on the streets or on the streets but in some particular streets and not some. That you consider these repressive acts something to even debate is a testament to poor education. Those who are lawyers; supposed learned people, who push these narratives on behalf of the government are laughing at you. The fact that you consider it funny because it’s someone or a group you don’t like, is also a proof that you are not educated. Sowore and others standing for what’s right are educated and their minds are liberated. Sowore’s mind is liberated and it can’t be caged anymore and that’s why they fear him. Cry for yourselves, not Sowore. By Adeyeye Olorunfemi |
Hmm, I attended the protest but police denied everyone access to the protest venue. Why not focus on Tinubu for trampling on your rights by criminalizing peaceful protests. Ttalk: |
A subpoena will need to be issued by the court to get some of those he listed to testify because they won't want to come on their own. By the time Kanu starts to cross examine the witnesses under oath, they will implicate and indict the government. The subpoenaed witnesses will be pleading to be let off the hook as Kanu bombs them with facts to explain themselves. Nigeria will beg for the case to end having realized that it can not win. This case will end as a big shame to Nigeria, a victory for justice. Nnamdi Kanu will be released and you will be put to shame for supporting injustice. Chivisee: |
I will say it again that Nnamdi Kanu will disgrace and destroy Nigerian government completely before the end of this trial. It is better for the government to humble itself and free him. They have no case, he will defeat them in court. |
Nnamdi Kanu will destroy Nigerian government by simply exposing it's lawlessness so that the whole world may know Nigeria and what the country represent. The disgrace will be so loud that the government will beg for the case to end. |
By the time they start testifying, Nnamdi Kanu will destroy Nigeria government's argument against him in court. VanuatuWycombe: |
Your hypocrisy and that of your deceitful APC party stinks to high heaven. You need to bury your head in total shame as this will be part of your legacy forever. Wolexyoshi: |
This is how Tinubu the hypocrite and APC deceived Nigerians pretending to care about them but they never did. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Po8fJ27gHrI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPUG_vLjn44 How APC, Tinubu and Buhari loved protests and enjoyed organizing protests. Now they are in power, peaceful protest against them is a crime in Nigeria. |
He will defeat the government by simply using the constitution and testimonials of his 20 witnesses under oath, who will implicate and indict the government of various attrocities it commited in the south east. Nigerian government is lawless, it does not like to obey the law or follow due process, this will be his greatest weapon against Nigeria. All you need to do is seat back and enjoy the show. Shimbo96: |
Spot on! They may deceive their APC cheerleaders but they can not deceive everybody. Nnamdi Kanu will disgrace all of them in court. Tinubu has destroyed what is left of Nigeria's reputation. It is glaring that this country is now a banana republic. Good2go1: |
With over 20 witnesses set to testify, Nnamdi Kanu will defeat and disgrace Nigerian government in court. He will prove to the world how shameless, evil and lawless is the country called Nigeria. |
If the judge is not biased, if he will allow all those he listed as witnesses to appear in court, Kanu will floor Nigeria government completely, you will bury your head in shame before the end of the trial. GodPunishOsu: |
Now that Nnamdi Kanu has opened his defense and called on notable politicians like Wike, Malami, Buratai, Sanwo-olu, Ikpeazu, Uzodima and others as witnesses. He has set the stage for the final showdown that will expose how evil the entity called Nigeria is for the whole world to see. Nyesome Wike will have to explain his role in Oyigbo massacre of igbos and IPOB members. Buratai will have to explain how over 100 igbos were killed during his infamous Operation Python Dance violent campaign in the south east. He will also need to explain the circumstances that led to military officers under his command attacking Kanu's home when he was granted bail, killing some of his family members and other igbos in the process. Sanwo-olu will have to tell his story and share evidences of actual buildings destroyed and killings done by IPOB during endsars protest in lagos. Malami will explain how he spareheaded the kidnap of Kanu from kenya and the flagrant disregard of justice by disobeying court of apeal order to release Kanu. Uzodinma and Ikpeazu will tell us how Kanu's IPOB became a terrorist group and how ESN is it's military wing. All these men/women listed by Kanu as witnesses will be subpoenaed and swear under oath to expose the evil unjust country called Nigeria. By the time Nnamdi Kanu is done with Nigeria, no one may want to identify with this country. |
Nnamdi Kanu has used this court case to prove to any skeptical i-gbo man why they need to leave Nigeria to form their own country. He has proven beyond all reasonable doubt to the world why Nigeria is a zoo. This is only the beginning because by the time Kanu is done with exposing Nigeria, no one may want to identify with this country. |
In detention, Nnamdi Kanu's powerful message to Nigerians has never been more louder than it is today. He has shown and said more than he ever did about what Nigeria truly is with his life beyond words. The continued unjust treatment and solitary confinement is a true testament of the systemic pervasive injustice against the igbo people. He has proven beyond all reasonable doubt that Nigeria is indeed a zoo. Let all igbos and Nigerians still naive about what this country represents, learn from the unjust persecution of Nnamdi Kanu by Nigeria. |
Hmmmm so you've accepted that peaceful protest is a crime in Nigeria that's why Obi will be arrested or shoot if he participates in one. What this means then is you agree that Nnamdi Kanu was also right all along about Nigeria been a zoo, about the injustice towards the i-gbos. I wonder why you think that zoo Nigeria will ever allow an igbo president. Why are you and the Obidients pushing Peter Obi to contest the 2027 election, believing he can win and become the president of a country where he can't even attend peaceful protest without fear of been arrested because he is an i-gbo man. So Peter Obi can easily contest in Nigeria's election without been shoot or arrested but he can't join a peaceful protest to demand for the release of Nnamdi Kanu. 9japride: |
There is so much tribal hate in Nigeria, you can even see what Nigeria has become in real time here on Nairaland. Many people are too sentimental and sectional to analyze national issues objectively without resorting to tribal demeaning rhetorics. Once you create a thread and say something they don't like about Peter Obi, Tinubu or any of their tribesman, they attack you viciously with hateful comments, they even go as far as liking their own comments to try to drive up their biased hateful sentiments. It is so toxic and sad. Nigeria is like a prison where the inmates detests themselves with passion even to their own detriment. You talk about a divided nation, I think we don't even have a nation yet. kcprince: |
Here are the facts - Government provided witnesses but none of these witnesses testified that Nnamdi Kanu made them to kill or destroy any property. - Kanu formed ESN and wanted it recognized officially by south east governors but they refused. - Nigerian government was reported to have killed more people then IPOB during the initial stage of the conflict. It was revealed the government killed over 100 people (Mostly IPOB members) in cold blood. - IPOB was a peaceful movement until Nigeria's government instituted a violent campaign against them. - Kanu was acquitted/freed by court of appeal. Above all you've written in your long epistle, the fact still remains that you are biased and full of hate for Nnamdi Kanu as you've continued in your deliberate attempt to absolve the government of any blame even though the government instigated the violence and killed over 100 people in the south east. Your hypocrisy is clear for everyone to see. As for your insults and derogatory remarks, I don't care about that, I guess it massages your ego and makes you feel big right? Enjoy your toxicity sreamsense: |
The fact that you called Nnamdi Kanu a terrorist only shows that you are the one that is opposed to justice not me. Next time, you want to reply always try to know the facts and not rely on sentiments/emotions. I've followed Kanu's case, do you know that ever since the case started, the government has been unable to provide a single witness to testify that Nnamdi Kanu made him or her kill someone or burn a property in any south eastern state. IPOB was never formed to be violent as it was a peaceful movement until the government decided to attack them by instituting a military violent campaign that led to the killing of over 100 people in the south east. ESN was also not formed to kill igbo people but to protect the south east states from fulani jihadist/herdsmen. I did not want to reply you initial but decided to do so just to set the record straight. If you are so pained over the killings that you attributed to IPOB, I wonder why such fake pain from you is not being extended to your government that started the violence and used it's security agents to kill over 100 people. Instead of your long writeups just say that you hate Nnamdi Kanu and you want the government to kill him. It will save you the headache and time to do other things. sreamsense: |
Tinubu will not be president forever. I hope all Y-oruba people attacking the I-gbos and I-gbos attacking Y-orubas knows this. A new government with another president coming from another region will take over at some point. What the I-gbos and Y-orubas are doing by demonizing themselves on various social media platforms is a big shame. One aspect, I find pathetic on the part of Y-orubas is how they are so happy to continually defend the unjust evil actions of a bad government just because the president is their tribesman. iamfactor: |
Again, you resort to your usual antics of demonizing all i-gbos just for what one man Nnamdi Kanu said or did. If not for your hatred for the i-gbo people, you would've been fair to point out this simple fact that not all i-gbo people agree or subscribe to Nnamdi Kanu's ideologies. The main reason behind recent outcry demanding for his release is due to the glaring injustice by the Nigerian government over his case. Your pathetic sentimental response devoid of any iota of truth only exposes your mischeivious hateful character. SonOfDSoil01: |
Hmm, okay what derogatory names did the i-gbo people call other tribes? I guess you made that up to demonize the i-gbos. I am convinced that Nigeria as country was indeed a big mistake. A country where people derive joy in nursing so much hate towards their fellow country men even to their own detriment. The best thing that will happen is for you and your Yoruba brothers to get your own country, the Igbos too and the Hausa/fulani. By the time Tinubu is done, Nigeria may end with him. SonOfDSoil01: |
