Angelanest: The pastor who was arrested for killing a commercial sex worker in Kogi state and using her body parts for rituals which was buried in his altar - has confessed to be have been engaging in money rituals while preaching salvation messages to his church members.
Pastor Olusegun Otaru of the Voice of Cannan Temple (C&S) Aladura Church Ozuru in Adavi, Kogi State, a father of eight children, revealed this to journalists Monday (yesterday) while being paraded along with his accomplices at the force headquarters in Lokoja.
Otaru who was arrested by the police last week for his involvement in the killing of Miss Mercy Moses 19, for money ritual, blamed his actions on the devil and his quest to solve poverty that has bedevilled his family.
He disclosed that he has participated in the exhuming of three bodies from the burial grounds which he used to prepare concoction for money to no avail stressing that the failure of the concoction made him look for a fresh human being which he thought would be effective.
He added that he learnt the trade from one Alfa at Abeokuta before he relocated home saying that he expected to reap over N2.5 million only from Miss Mercy Moses.
Explaining further, he said, “We, first of all, took a turns to rape her and after we killed her. We also took turn to sleep with the dead body. We cut the head, the fingers and toes. We ground the fingers and the toes which we mix with other concoctions which we lick every morning expecting an inflow of money.”

TonyeBarcanista: Other governors should learn from Udom Emmanuel that doesn't depend on monthly allocation You can't compare Akwa Ibon to most of the states. 1. They obviously have less workers in the civil service as It's relatively a new state . 2. Their monthly allocation is much higher than some states. 3. They don't have so many big cities that requires infrastructural development. So, less money is spent on projects. |

Nigerians will Be more grateful if they can use the money for the following options;
1. Solve the security challenges facing us. 2. Fix the light issue. We need light 247 3. Set up industries to create jobs for the unemployed. 4. Build housing estates that are easily affordable by the low income earners. 5. Subsidize education such that it can be free up the secondary school level.
I think any of these option is far better than their present plans. Why disburse funds that will not add value to the lives of people? |
Politics › Re: Shehu Sani: Recovered Abacha Loot Should Not Be Shared To Poor Nigerians by TruthinAction: 10:52pm On Jun 30, 2018 |
Even if it gets to the poorest people, it will not change their poverty situation. 5,000 monthly can never change ones poverty status. Its purchasing power is little. No matter how prudent you are, that money even for a bachelor may not last more than 5 days. |

This is misappropriation of the loot. It can be channel to more profitable venture.
There are 774 LGAs in the country . They should ask all LGA to submit proposal for setting up industries that should employ not less than 1,000 youths in the community. These youths will in turn contribute to national development and they can assist their loved ones with money earned.
5,000 naira will not solve the poverty problem. |

Why can't these communities fence their villages with whatever or dig trenches?
If you can buy weapons to defend yourself, there are other ways. These Pastors that are very wealthy should donate money for this purpose.
When that happens, there will only be limited entry points. Talking will not stop it. These herdsmen are demons released from the pit of hell.
Osinbanjo and other leaders from the south should be ashamed that all these are happening under their watch. |
