Amaechi's presidency will serve many things. 1 is reward for hard work as governor and a minister. 2. SS will complete a term and more. 3. Igbo presidency (even though SE region needs one). 4. Leadership change to southern Nigeria. 5 Reward for loyalty to Mr President.

Point out one Southern aspirant in PDP who can win either Northern or Western votes. Please show me one. All the current PDP governors in the South barely have any real influence beyond their states.

Where will Wike get votes from beyond south south? Who will vote for Obi in the West and North? Who will vote Saraki? In fact PDP is empty. In the last four years no Southern aspirant invested in building bridges with other regions. Elections are coming, you want overnight votes. Democracy isn’t magic.
