Why on earth will a government spend $2.5billion to construct a pipeline for some megawatts of electricity when half of that amount can generate double of such electricity with solar power? There's more than enough sunlight wasting in the north. Did they consider the resources it will take to protect those hundreds of kilometer of pipeline from possible vandals?
