Yes, Lagos state, is more populated, however, in less than 45 minutes, you're either in Ogun state, or Benin republic and Lagos state ( Fashola ) is NOT feeding or housing the POOR. Rather, than CARE or PROTECT, the POOR, VULNERABLE and WEAK folks, Fashola, will bundle them to their state of origin. We all know how some people are LEECHES on the UK/ British government, yet these leeches weren't deported to their countries of origin. So, whats Fashola, doing with PUBLIC FUNDS? WHY SHOULD Lagos borrow money and billions for that matter?

Lagos, have ZERO infrastructure, no road network, people spend hours coming or going to work. Most neighborhoods on the Island, are slums, flooding has become a norm cos of no drainage. Lagosians, who can afford it have their own sources of power and water supply. I'm yet to read a Jakande, type of housing or something meaningful about housing the poor. Why can't Fashola, build apartments for Lagos state civil servants in Lekki? Oh, they're not FIT for such neighborhood. Other than their paycheck, or transportation ( which they work for), is their any other thing the Lagos state, civil servants have being wowed with? What did Fashola, do with billions of dollars?

I lost the little regards I have for Fashola, when he failed to support the FOI. Yes, federal republic of Nigeria, under Jonathan , should take a proactive step by PLACING A BAN ON ANY HIJAB OR ISLAMIC COVERING GEARS, In public places. It was suppose to be a religious wear, now it has been abused and has become a weapon for mass murder.

I hope short sighted leaders in Nigeria will not be sentimental by saying " oh it will offend Muslims " , while their cowardice won't allow them to offend Moslems, Boko haram, will be taking advantage of it.

Nigeria is a secular state and should act like one. When people behave like animals, you treat them like one. China, banned all that crappy fasting in their country and any other Islamic stuffs that doesn't sit well with the safety of the nation, cos they put the interest of their country first. France banned hijab & other Islamic gears. Jonathan, pls save lives by banning Islamic hijab. If he can't do it, governors in the southern Nigeria should ban Moslem girls from wearing all that their stuff.

Igbos are been bombed and massacred in the north by Boko haram, El rufai, has never said anything NICE, no condolence no sympathy, rather, he'll be on social media hurling insults on Igbos for supporting Jonathan. El rufai, HAS NEVER CONDEMNED BOKO HARAMS ACTION FOR ONE DAY. Nigerian soldiers are being killed daily by BH, El Rufai, has never commiserate with the Ngerian Army, on their loss. El Rufai, has never COMMENDED or use his social media platform to praise the Nigerian army, in their struggle against BH.

Fulani herdsmen ( BH, in disguise), will massacre Christians in plateau, benue, kaduna, etc, El Rufai, has NEVER condemned their actions, rather, he'll be using propaganda to paint the Fulani killers as victims.

I gave up on El rufai, the day Jonathan's wife came back to Nigeria after her long absence cos of illness, people that came to welcome the First Lady were jubilating at the airport with her, el rufai, was busy posting HATEFUL & BILE stuffs about Jonathan's wife, & that she's not fit" " they're just trying to hoodwink people" etc. What a man?

El rufai, was close to Ngozi IWeala, during Obj, days, since Ngozi, started working for Jonathan's govt. El rufai, has never said anything good about her. He'll insult ngozi and tried to place Sanusi, as a smarter financial expert ( how he wish). Whenever there's a bomb blast, El rufai, will INSULT and criticized Gen. Azazi, he only stopped when Jonathan removed Azazi, as the NSA. Guess what? Jonathan replaced Azazi, with a Fulani, Moslem ( Dasuki), despite the worsening security situation, for once, El rufai, has NEVER, EVER, criticize the incumbent NSA.

I'm not going to even write about El rufai's HATE, CONTEMPT, & EVIL wishes on Jonathan and his friends, cos, his hate speeches deserve to be written as a book. Lai Mohammed, Tinubu, Fashola, Obj, Falana, etc, they all CRITICIZE Jonathan, but what El rufai, does is nothing near criticism.

The Igbos that are been killed, the corpers that was massacred, the farmers that the fulanis have killed in various middle belt states, the soldiers that BH, ambushed, and the Christians being killed in their churches, ALL THESE SOULS WERE CREATED BY GOD, JUST LIKE EL RUFAI's son. They all deserve sympathy and condolence from el rufai, but el rufai, NEVER SHOWED MERCY. Ribadu, IBB, Abudusalami, etc, are all alive, they don't go about making hate comments and insulting Jonathan. Does el rufai love Nigeria more than them? El rufai, loves the money he stole and can steal from the government.

My bible told me to " we should mourn with those that mourn" and rejoice with those that rejoice". El rufai, always rejoice at the death of Igbos and Christians. El rufai's children might be far from maidugiri and other dangerous zones, but they'll will not be FAR FROM GOD's WRATH, and LAW OF NATURE. I'm not happy that he lost his son, but the boys death is just like the death of the STREET TRADERS THAT DIED AT THE ABUJA PLAZA and THE ONES THAT DIED AT MASS TRANSIT PARK.

The way Jonathan is taking down his political enemies is superb. Locally, nobody can stop his 2015 re-election moves. However, my fear lies with the "FOREIGN ELEMENTS that are bent on stopping him. They've stopped other folks before him & we know how they did it.

Jonathan should be wary of foreign dignitaries (even the lil girl that visited yesterday could be on a mission).

It feels good to see this forum back online. NL, keeps me informed about what's going on in Nigeria & it has helped me to realize the level of hatred that exist in Nigeria. I wasn't surprise about some peoples reaction cos NL, was offline, but I'm disappointed that thousands of Nigerian youths don't have a LIFE. NL, is their social pass time, by commenting trash on every topic, refreshing pages, being first to comment, calling names & insulting Jonathan & co.

Now I know why there's so much unemployment in Nigeria. Folks don't spend their time in improving themselves in acquiring meaning skills. Hence, they're not employable. How can someone that's busy with job or family,etc, say this " when NL, crashed I felt like I lost a friend, I'm addicted to this site" & all worth not. Are these folks for real?

yibomustgo: Jonathan did not address Obsanjo's allegations. What he has done is to just repeat the allegations and denied doing them. He tried to give Obsanjo some body shots while doing it. I don't see this a good response to what Obasanjo asked in his letter.

Jonathan failed to address the corruption allegations i.e Stellah Oduah and co....

Jonathan failed to address his talk about only Ibos voted for him and Ibos being his backbone....
