tourist visa application I summited in abuja since march 28.. I got a message today (5 months) after that my application is ready for collection. my travel date already passed.. I wont be surprised if I got denied. at least make I collect my passport back.

Now that some embassies are evacuating their staff and closing offices/or reducing services in Abuja due to the recent security threat alert from the US government, does this mean that SA embassy in Abuja will be affected as well? All applications are still being treated through Abuja, I think. This may add to a delay in visa processing time from the look of things. Anyone with any info on the condition of things either at the embassy or VFS in Abuja at the moment?

No statement on that yet from the SA Consulate/Embassy.

Is the radiological report to be signed on the visa application form or it will be on a different paper on it own?

There is a different Radiology Report Form on the VFS SA website. You can download it and then you can give to the radiologist to sign and stamp after the examination.

I got admission in university of Cape town and preparing to apply for visa, I don't know how to go about some required documents for the visa application.
My questions are
1. How do you I go about this undertaking from the relevant government to take full responsibility to pay for deportation when it becomes necessary..

2. They mentioned medical and radiological report,
Radiological test are of my types, I don't know the particular test I need to do on that.

I don't see available date for Lagos VFS center...

Well I don’t think you need number 1. I mean it’s not in the requirement for study visa SA high commission nigeria.

You need to do a tuberculosis test and download the form on the vfs website and give the radiologist to sign and stamp.

I guess there is no more slot again for October, wait till they open new slot for November and you have to be very quick to select when it gets available for you to pick.

Applying for a study visa and I’m confused about this accomodation proof required by consulate thingy! I want to book an hotel but I’m not sure how many days to book. Plus if I should book will it be confirmed that my visa will come out before then? All these thing just dey confuse me. I no wan go looseguard. What do you mean by Federal Ministry of Health Website. I checked with my yellow card number and passport number on the yellowcardnigeria.com website and my details came up (Name, dob, vaccine name, Vaccine expiry date etc) is that okay?

Also the passport i used for the yellow card has expired and i have since gotten another passport. Do i need to get another yellow card with the new passport?

Yeah that’s the FMOH website for Port Health. So far the new passport will have the same details on your yellow card, do you get?

Speaking of E-Yellow card, After Scanning the QR and can verify your details on the FMOH website, make sure your name, DOB is the same on your passport, the date of you when you took the vaccine and type of vaccine taken is the same on your yellow card. The High Commission take note of the tiniest details when checking.

Yes you can for Flight bookings! Make sure both the Departure port and Arrival port is visible and the reservation can be verifiable. And most importantly, your E-yellow card is verifiable. Scan the QR code on your card make sure the website pops up and your details can be found on the Federal Ministry of Health Website. If not revert back to Port Health services.

You can always request for the email address and phone numbers of the hotel.

Hi, Check the documents required on VFS Website and you’d see that the high commission strongly do not accept such third party bookings. It’s there you can check for yourself.

Hello guys, my last SA visa was in 2019 and i have always used hotels.com for proof of accommodation. Do they still accept bookings on hotels.com for visit visa? Please advise guys.

I’m sorry but hotels.com is a third party booking site which the consulate don’t accept. They expect you to book from the hotel website itself just in case they want to verify if you have any reservations, it will be easy for both consulate & hotel.

I applied for a study Visa in January and no response.

Have you tried contacting consulate and VFS? Since January? That’s too long. I know people that applied like three time and got response this year alone.

If it does not direct you to the site after scanning, try the manual way. Go to the site yellowcardnigeria. Com and key in your details on the site by yourself,
If it doesn’t go through you have to go to the place where it was issued and complain
