Read between the lines and comprehend instead of attacking. I grew up in iseyin area of Oyo State which is part of the southwestern States and it's predominantly Muslims.
PoliticsRe: The Plan To Destroy Islam And The Ignorance Of The Ummah by Trymeee: 7:57am On Jan 02
I don't comment on religious threads, but I think the problem of present day Islam is terrorism. I grew up in the southwest and the town is predominantly Muslims. We lived so in peace that during ileya, my teeth hurts from meat consumption and we do return the favour during Xmas. My journey to the north changed this. The Kaduna thing where Christians are confined to a place and Muslims to a place was just funny. 2017 or so, I remember we were resuming that quarter then when Muslims started killing xtians in kawo and the favour was returned in Sabo. I was caught in the fracas as I was enroute afaka where my institution was.

I'd say the problem of the Nigerian Muslims are the northern Muslims and it's a pity they are fast encroaching the southern Muslims with their vile and extremism. My first 3 GFS were yoruba Muslims and their parents were good with it. but I remember during one of my breaks I followed a coursemate to Zaria. I saw this cute Hausa Fulani damsel that entered my eye. My coursemate advised me to look away or make it discreet as it can stir up issues If her folks know she's dating an INFIDEL or an INFIDEL even asked her out. I choose the discreet path and I can't count how many a times I had to lie to the girl I was mosque so I won't blow my xtian cover or even carry prayer mat on my way to say hello. She ended up moaning and screaming inasonka to a Yoruba infidel like me (Smirks). When she got to know I am a Christian that's after my time in hell, she was just like she realised and suspected it along the line. She was okay with me but her parents won't be. Funny thing aunty married a French man when she left for Texas for MSc. I guess she won't be coming back to Nigeria as she's joined the gang of infidels. Lol.

In short, extremist are the issues with Islam

This set of folks keep making Islam very unattractive. I use to love Islam growing up in the southwest then, with the state the nation is, I can only imagine what Islam is really teaching it's followers.

HealthRe: Help: Burning Sensation Around My Penis And Scrotum. What Could It Be? by Trymeee: 8:44am On Dec 27, 2025
Flipmac:
Yesterday I had sex with my partner. After a few hours, I started feeling a burning/cooling sensation around my penis and scrotum. No itching or discharge. The only thing I feel is the burning sensation.

What I can best describe the sensation is like rubbing Dustin powder or pepper around one's private part.

I am feeling like this could be an STD from my partner. But I don't wanna make any accusations without being sure.

It's been over 24 hours now and I'm still feeling the burning sensation.

Has anyone experienced something like this? What could it possibly be?
I doubt this is any type of STD, More like irritation to me. Was the sex duration lengthy? How about lubrication? Was there change of any type in your ladies wash fluid etc? Your answers should lie within this. Most STI/D's hardly show form or reaction immediately after sex. It takes incubation period and more. That's why when you suspect you the condom did tear or in the heat of the moment you had unprotected sex, you still have grace period to get pep. My one cent, answer those questions above your answers lie in there.

Meanwhile, sex is like the game of boxing, protect yourself at all times.

It won’t be stopped. The FG will not halt the cooperation until all the terrorists, bandits, extremists and Fulani ethnic militias are completely eliminated.

We can’t continue pampering these killers in the name of one Nigeria. FG must continue to collaborate with the US and all other countries to bring an end to the madness that Gumi and his boys are unleashing in the Northern parts of the country. Every sane Nigerian should be in support of the cooperation.
Truth is terrorism can't be literally completely Annihilated. That's the truth.

Not everyhting is greedy and greedy officials

If we kept subsidy, by now national debt would be at levels that would be intolerable, the government would have run out of money to pay for things, anything, even paper for the government office, and salaries would have stopped being paid. And there would be no refinery producing for the nigerian market...because it won't be profitable,

Plus all of you shouting subsidy is paid in other countryes...you want to pay subsidy on top of the very low tax to gdp that we have? Na invitation to borrowing.

Before una start, tinubu was a hypocrite in 2011for opposing subsidy removal, and we were warned as far back as 1988 that subsidy had to go. If we had kuku commot the thing in 1993 self, by now we would have had enough private refining, and all the NNPC refineres would still be working.

You cannot sell petrol at N40 per liter without palava happening...like APC was promising us before.
What as withdrawal of the subsidy effected? What's Nigeria loan then (even when it was subsidised) and what's our debt now?

There's nothing controversial about having double promotions in a single year. .

The military is built with a standard and it's a pity y'all are desecrating it. Buhari's ADC never enjoyed favouritism, neither did Jonathan's. As a fact the latter just became a Maj Gen this year after how many years Jonathan left office.

FamilyRe: The Quiet Crisis Of Aging Men: What We Don’t Prepare Fathers For by Trymeee: 11:15am On Dec 14, 2025
Gerrard59:
Unfortunately, a significant proportion of women have this forgetful character where they don't remember what was done for them, but only what is being done at the moment.

To counter this as a man, have fewer children. This gives you free time to spend your money yourself and wellbeing.

So, how do you take care of yourself?
- Buy those clothes; eat those dishes and items you have always desired provided the money dey. There are many nice restaurants these days which offer delicious meals. Treat yourself at least once or twice per month.
- Embark on trips either solo or with your friends. Create geninue friendships across professions, ages and walks of life.
- Develop a new hobby or hobbies. It could be volunteering for a cause dear to your heart or anything, but the hobby that keeps you mentally fit, and physically too if possible
- Learn new things/enrol into new courses to broaden your knowledge in a particular subject. It could learning how to invest more profitably even if you studied economics or finance in school.
- Diversify your investments. The Internet has offered everyone the opportunity to learn and implement new ways to invest and build one's nest without leaving his abode.

What I've observed is that too many men stress themselves largely because they have too many children than they (mentally, emotionally and physically) can take care of. So they go the extra mile just to provide whereas their bodies aren't fit for such. Meanwhile, if they had few children, they will have more time for themselves, even if na to just dey sleep.

You see men doing what I describe as "ten man load, one man carry". Taking up projects bigger than themselves and mental capacity.
I got a lot of wisdom from your write up. I'd learn more if I'm privileged.

wonder233:
The cold hard truth about marriage and raising kids is that there is nothing in it for a man.
As a man, you need to be strategic to benefit whatever you can from the arrangement. Society will try to shame you for wanting to benefit anything from the arrangement and not wholly the sacrificial lamb. But don't listen to them.
Make sure you marry a woman who can only tangibly contribute or in a position to influence something positive for you. Not just a liability that you have to do everything for. Even though the woman will hate it that she has to contribute, but you have to stick to your guns.
Well said, I'm single and from most marriages I see, only 2percent of married men really enjoy that happiness, all they do Is lie to theirselves and the camera.

A woman can easily manipulate and dissuade the love of the kids from their father. This is supported by nature as an average man spend more time working than living. Reminded me a lady I met who had this bitter hatred for her dad. I asked if the man paid her fees, she said yes. I asked if he provides, she said yes.

Her excuse was mum said this mum said that. The man unbeknown is working his ass out for the so-called family not knowing the wife already poisoned the kids mind and he's only still tolerated because he's the provider. When he's weak and can't work again, they will ostracize him like the plague and epidemy they see him as.

Kobojunkie:
The male loneliness epidemic affecting the world today impacts both married and single men alike. If you chose to put the blame on Marriage, then why do single men also suffer the same problem of loneliness? undecided

2. The problem has been studied and said to be caused by men refusing to connect on an emotional, social and mental level with friends, wives and children. undecided

3. No matter how many wives and children a man has, he is still likely to end up alone and die alone even then if he refuses to do the needful. Go village today and you will find there many lonely men like the one described by the OP. The family will likely show up after his death to perform whatever iis necessary for them to get their hands on anything the man left behind though. undecided
Kobojunkie, for my sanity, peace of mind and mental health, always do well to avoid any comment, post or mention of my moniker.

Have a great life.
FamilyRe: The Quiet Crisis Of Aging Men: What We Don’t Prepare Fathers For by Trymeee: 10:41am On Dec 13, 2025
Truth is their is nothing in marriage for an average man. Maybe to help the woman raise the kids. How do I mean, most kids sees and takes care of their mums before the dad's (if at all the dad) I will always tell most married men I see to invest into their future and not make any child or wife their plans or hope for happiness. Marry as much wives if it makes you happy Las Las, one of them will always be there.
