Politics › Re: Egbesu Militants Join Ipob Orders FG To Releases Kanu, Dasuki Within 7days by tsdarkside(m): 11:54am On Jan 10, 2016 |
tochukwuifeduba: Egbesu Militants join IPOB, orders FG to release Kanu and Dasuki within 7 days from Now or…
A dreaded militant group in the Niger Delta region, the Egbesu Water Lions has warned the Federal Government of Nigeria to release the Radio Director of Biafra and the former National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd.) in the next seven (7) days without hesitation and unconditionally. In a statement by General Torunanawei Latei, who is a Creek Network Coordinator, the dreaded body further asked the Federal Government to direct the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to restore the accounts of Chief Government Ekpemupolo (a.k.a) Tompolo within the same period or else they are going to shut down every oil and gas activities in the region.
“Federal government approached Chief Tompolo for his land to be used as Maritime University and he sold his land to the government based on agreement, humanly what is wrong in that for someone to sell what belongs to him, is it a crime in Nigeria now?
“It is also extremely important to note that the engine room of the National interest is the Executive obedience to COURT ORDERS and protection and preservation of the citizens’ constitutional liberties. Justification of executive disobedience to court orders as a protection of national interest is abominable. It is also a deliberate ploy to bend the law and suspension of the 1999 constitution. Federal government disobedience to court decisions is one of the dimensions of corruption and seen as gross abuse of office, contrary to section 15 (5) of the 1999 constitution. “We ask, is President Muhammadu Buhari has any legal capacity to declare anyone as a criminal? Disobedience to court orders is an act of executive rascalities in the country. Nmandi Kanu has been in detention since October 14, 2015 when he was arrested by operatives of the DSS while the former national security adviser too is facing multiple charges before three different courts and was re-arrested recently at the gate of Kuje prision, Abuja shortly after he has perfected all his bail conditions. The continued detention and incarceration of the two accused persons is humanly unjustifiable in the 1999 constitution and therefore the rule of law must be respected”, the body warned. President Muhammadu Buhari must not constitute himself as a court of law and allow justice prevail in the country. Within this period we will halt gas and oil operations in the country until they are released as directed by the courts. We also demand the immediate payment of Bonga Oil Spill and Chevron gas explosion in Koluama in Bayelsa state unconditionally. The country will be a ground and let us see what the president will use to run the economy and we will accomplish the ultimatum, General Torunanawei Latei concluded. pahh......oil is now worthless, they can drink it for all i care.....if they want to become criminals, let dem knock their selfs out....who cares.... |

INTROVERT: This issue will bring problem in Nigeria.
My little understanding from reading is that it is a borrowed culture from other parts of the the world particularly the desert areas where "sand and dust storms" are prevalent as a way of protecting the face and body. I beleive that there are appropriate ways a Muslim lady can dress that can cover the body properly. We should not encourage extremism in the guise of religion. pahh...nigeria is at war...........if the suicide bombings stop, then we will stop identifying dem directly.....soo long suicide bombings doesnt stop,we can only say "we are sorry,in advance"...... |

Macelliot: An Igbo man might not be the Richest African currently, but sooner or later "as the Germans, is to Europe(backbone of european economy), so shall the Igbo nation be the backbone of the entire Africa". . *1970 :- After the civil war, there was no single Igbo Man among the Top 10,000 richest Nigerian.
*1980 :- There was no Single Igbo man among the top 1000 richest Nigerian.
*1990 :- There was no Igbo man in the list of top 50 richest Nigerians.
*2015 :- Fast foward to 2015/2016, there are 7 Igbos, 8 Yorubas and 5 Northerners(19 states) in the TOP 20 RICHEST NIGERIAN according to Forbes ranking...
*presently, Anambra state has the highest Numbers of Billionaires in Nigeria". (just in 46 yrs)..
By year *2070 (if only Nigeria still remains one) don't be suprise if the Top 50 richest Nigerians are ALL Igbos...
Hate them, dislike them, you can't suppress their spirit... i dont care...if money makes you happy,then,enjoy..but dont forget, others have other prioritys than money....just look that you dont disturb others with your devotion for money.......okay?? |

charix: He did not go about it the right way. He claims the country is a zoo yet used jungle tactics to spread a message of only hate. There are civil ways to propose something to a government, easier done in a democracy. He went to school, he obviously knows those ways yet didn't implement them.
He committed treason and is now an enemy of the state. Everyday he spends in detention is a slap to the face of Nigerians because our taxes house and feed him - he's even better off than the homeless and unemployed.
I say the government should end his suffering and put him out of his misery. He's of no use to anyone. yea...like end his suffering, like style.....yea..... |

gimakon: **** And if Buhari wants something good from Biafrans, he should learn to be tolerant and have a listening ear to people and do things the right way. The last time it was Shia muslims, did he make a speech about it or call his soldiers to order? No he just follows things the extreme wrong way.
Sometimes you need to play the coward to win the war later... IMO,im just speaking of how I would follow things if I were president.
Think about it. The only reasons igbos agitate for biafra is because the system of governance here doesn't favour them. Power isn't rotated the right way, it's only the Hausas and yorubas that enjoy it,now the igbos want to leave and have a fair chance to themselves, you here saying it's treason, suppose you were being marginalised, would you feel good?
Look at oshodi market now. They demolished everything where do they want these people to start from? How do they want them to run business when they have bills to pay. They have kids to train in school, shay na igbos come this world come suffer.
You don't know what igbos see to start from nothing to make something. I'm an igbo man,but in as much as I never loved biafra before , I just got to love the agitation and the eventuality of what came out of it, I grew to love Biafra. The suffering is way too much for an average igbo man to bear. If you don't want a divided nation, you must learn to accept us as one of you and let power rotate how it's supposed to. And treat us as one of your kind.
Nnamdi Kanu did nothing from my own point of view, Buhari should face the issue of bringing Nigeria back to past glory and not witch hunting people in the name of anti corruption and blasphemy and whatever . It doesn't make sense. i still want to slap him,for calling me a animal..!!! |

The hausas have never been president. The only people keeping the fulani in check are the Igbos, with Igbos the fulas would have colonized everyone else.
