If has to differ from school to school. Here at SFU computing nor b beans ooo. Very difficult and very detailed and I'm not even doin Msc yet so u can imagine. Wen I see wetin my mate dey do i dey hide my degree oo. Very detailed mehn. But I cannot categorically tell u abt ur school. It differs on how their school of computing is.

Hi, i don't think anyone can categorically tell u a minimum amount everyone's situation is different. But whatever amount u ve in there depends on a good number of things.
1)who is ur sponsor? What is the relationship between u and d sponsor or are u self sponsored?
2)how much is ur fees?
3)how much does it cost to live in the province u would be in when in canada?
Now ur relationship with ur sponsor speaks volume in the sense that if ure not a direct benefactor of them.. Say an uncle or a sibling or a family friend would be different from a parent. A parent can spend all dey have on their child but a vo might think an uncle or sibling might not so if u are using some1 ure not a direct benefactor of, they need to be in very good financial standing.

There are several free applications u can download and use to resize ur docs. I used Adobe reader I think...
And u don't need an original letter per say all u need is a PDF file from the school which is considerably original.

Ok so a friend of mine decided to cme join me here at SFU and applied for their post baccalaureate (just a fancy name for graduate) diploma in computing science with a cgpa of 3.67/5.00 and dint get in. He was told he doesn't meet the average So SFU admission committee is obviously very cocky I did not bilivit oooo! How can some1 with a second class in the same computing science not get admitted to a pbd? That's SFU for u.
It's a very competitive school. Anyone wishing to apply to the computing department here and isn't good with programming pls don't bother. If u get admitted u go frustrate. U have to know ur shit. But if u do u would be very happy u did, according to some people, SFU school of computing is the 2nd best in Canada after UofT.

And ve bin reading the forum backwards to catch up and people blood just dey hot, y'all shud calm down.

Lemme talk abt this permit issue, u guys don't seem to get wat Siga is sayin. Wen u apply to CIC using study as the reason for your application, what u are granted is a TRV, so that thing they put on ur passport is not ur study permit, it doesn't permit u to study, It just permits you to travel.

When u arrive at the international airport, u would be interviewed by an immigration officer who could ask for any document to proof ur stand, he/she is the one who gives u ur study permit.

Now on the study permit, it is boldly written that "this doesnot permit re-entry". So u cannot enter into Canada without a valid visa!
U can stay in Canada even after ur visa has expired, no body would ask u shit! As long as u don't leave Canada cos u won't b able to get in without a visa!

This ur question hard oo. I submitted very few documents. I don't think There is any 1 that can tell u exactly what to submit cos evry1s situation is different.
Fill out the questionnaire on cic's website and d documents u need to submit would be listed for you.
I can only give u a few tips.
* submit only what you are asked to submit
* it's not the amount of documents that determines if u would be granted trv so no need for plenty unnecessary documents
* ur application should be simple. Do not confuse the vo. No1 has time to b tryin to understand wat ure doing so be precise and simple.
* pray! Pray, pray and again pray!

Hey guys, so I and jaylinaa landed on the 1st in Toronto. And we're both in BC now. I'm in Burnaby, she's in Victoria. It's cold here but not as cold as Ontario and those other Dili cold provinces. Apparently BC has the mildest weather in Canada and it does not snow here, it just rains continuously but it's still rili cold oooo.

BC is 9hrs behind Nigeria time so i mite not always be available but feel free to ask me any question abt SFU, FIC and BC. I would try to answer your questions if I know the answers. I appreciate this forum a lot. I met a sweetheart here @jaylinaa and we're getting along rili well. It was a 24hrs flight from Nigeria and 5hrs flight from Toronto to Vancouver.

My documents were quiet few and let me not even now lie, the fear was terrible especially wen one mad agent told me I wudnt get the visa with my half brother as sponsor especially since I had no proof of relationship but I fashied the agent and applied myself and took my case to the ALMIGHTY! And here we are. I hope this helps somebody. My application is a testimony, I guess God showed off with me!!!!

I won't advise u to lie tho, but my half brother was my sponsor, different fathers so different surnames. Dint provide any proof cos I rili had none. He doesn't ve a birth cert and we have no pictures together. All I had were prayers. Tz not an impossible route to take. That's all Im saying.
