No, I haven't received any mail since then and my portal is still under review till now. I don't know if we should assume that they have not started the interview for Civil Engineers yet.

My colleague & I applied for the Drilling Engineer experienced role ... we both wrote the written test, but are yet to be called for the First Stage interview.

Some of our friends that sat for the written test (who applied for the same role) have gotten reject emails.

I am yet to get an interview invite or a reject email up till now.

Does anyone know why this could be so?

I have said it before that once your profile is still reading application under review, then just be hopeful. This is how international organizations conduct their recruitment process. Most times it may get to 8 months. I know a friend of mine who applied for a job with UN under UNDP last year June and was contacted for the next stage about February this year.

Just be hopeful friends!

This is the link. At the top right hand side, you will see a menu box, click on it and you will see view profile amongst the options, also click on the view profile. After which you will be required to provide your login details. After you provide it and have been logged in, go to job's applied and the blue drop-down, you will see the progress of your application.

Please my passport photograph is refusing to upload. Does anyone have same issue?

What I know is that as far as your application still reads under review, then you still have hope. When I see people who come here to say rubbish and telling people to move on, I just laugh. If you've applied to an international organisation before now, you would notice that you can monitor the progress of your application with the portal.

I believe that as far as the portal still reads application under review, then they aren't done with the shortlisting yet. Maybe they started from Lagos centre.

You are right bro! The change of date does not really matter in jobs application most times. What matters most is the application status which is under review. If you have been rejected, your portal will read application unsuccessful.
Just my observation.

Well, I didn't want to speak concerning the suitability of the test but at this point, let me just say this.

The test was not fair enough for the purpose it was meant to serve. I can boldly say that if you put dragnet boss on that room to take the test, he will perform even poorly.

Let me break down my points here.
1. The verbal timing was very inappropriate for the test. For instance, we were given 20 questions to answer within 17minutes. In each question, we were expected to find two correct answers in it. This means you have about 20-25secs to find a correct answer which are not following each other in the passage. Even TOEFL don't administer their reading test like that.

2. The numerical reasoning was also not good enough, not because the questions were difficult, but because the timing was also poor. For instance, this is not a paper test where you have all the questions facing you. What I'm trying to say is that the distance from the table or chart to the questions which requires scrolling down was not fair. When you read the chart, you scroll down to see the question, you take few seconds to understand the question, then you scroll up again to correlate the question with the chart or table and you have to do this for all the questions. Remember you were given just 1 minute to go through all this unnecessary time consuming processes.

3. The verbal was out of the game. For instance, when you take some test even with PwC, you will see some practice test just for you to understand how the questions goes, until you are done practicing, you can now start taking your test. This is what is expected when you want to test the best brains to get the best out of them. You don't set questions where the past questions are not available and you made it so blurred and very difficult without a practice test for as many that would want to understand it.

4. The skill test was fair enough for people who revised their undergraduate courses very well.

If your lecturers in school come to the exam hall with questions he never taught in the classroom and without any available past questions to the questions, how will you feel?

Please note that I am not saying all these to say that dragnet didn't do well or not, but what I'm saying is that they can improve on the mode of operations and administration of test.

One thing about this dragnet test is that their numerical questions where not direct. Abstract was in another realm. Verbal was the way it was because you are requested to find two correct answer in one question, which if you check very well, everyone probably used about 20 seconds in the verbal session.
Skill test was cool...
But in all, we bless God for seeing us through it.
