Hello Nairaland,

Who else noticed that there is no single bill board or posters of Peter Obi and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on the roads of Lagos.

The entire stretches of Ikorodu Express, Apapa-Oshodi, Lagos- Badagry express, Lagos-Abeokuta, Third Mainland Bridge, Lekki-Epe has no single billboard or posters of opposition candidates.
Only Tinubu and Apc candidates faces are everywhere.

Isn’t this a politics of bitterness

You can only see 1 Obi LP poster while driving from Abuja to Lagos. That party and it's candidate are jokers

For NC its not by Ethnic at any point but by religion mostly and oppression
Two NC faced high level of Massacre from Herdsmen and APC is not saying anything or doing anything about it
Then Atiku is a Fulani

If you lost one of your Family or you hear the next village close to you were ransacked by Herdsmen

Then left to Kwara Kogi & Niger
some part in Kogi was in the Eastern part if you check map currently Kogi shares boundary with Enugu and Anambra if i might guess

Those place also face herdsmen with Enugu

Kwara is little margin

Niger is up for grab but if IBB openly tell his people to vote for Obi
Obi would get up to 10-20% here

So you see why Obi is wining NC
Your opinion is too childish, I can't debate with you. I wish you well in your delusion

The poll in nc is done only in fct benue and plateau.
Abokis dont like atiku, they prefer kwankwaso. Majority of niger people are gwari and nupe not hausas.tinubu largest crowd was in niger, the support was overwhelming.pdp is weak in niger, they don't have popular people go canvass votes for atiku.apc owns the state...
Tinubu will do well in benue, plateau but obi won't see votes in kwara, niger
PDP is strong in Niger state but not as strong as ApC so the difference don't be much

Dis one don carry PVC distribution enter discussion.

You cannot confuse this glaring reality. There no way Tinubu will win the southwest @ 60%, impossible.

He will perform at the ebb in NC behind Atiku, while Obi carries the region. And for some of you who believe Tinubu will win either NE or NW, I have a bridge in my village to sell to you.

The most Tinubu can expect from Kano as it now stands is 25% or likely less. Katsina is currently in play and hotting up by the day. Kaduna is a hotbed for LP as we speak, south of it, so to say, and they are numerically superior to their northern Kaduna mates in that location.

Tinubu will be, literally speaking, stoned politically in SE and SS. It is for this reason he went cap in hand, begging Wike and the G-5, and was summarily rejected by those formidable truth seekers.

Tinubu and Atiku are in soup already and they both know it.
Say hello to president Peter Gregory Obi already.
I challenge you on this. Tinubu will get over 60% in SW

It baffles me when Igbo people thinks every Christian community in the north belongs to Peter Obi. That's to show you guys naivety. I don't see Peter Obi winning any state in the NC. Take that to the bank, you'll sure get interest on it
Politics › Re: Does Tinubu Need To Win The North In 2023? by Ttalk: 2:04pm On Jan 01, 2023
garfield1:
I think not.with kwankwaso in play and obi cornering northern Christian votes and with atiku losing out in ss/se,tinubu just needs to get 30% in the north alongside 60% in the sw.if tinubu gets 30% atiku 35% kwankwaso 25% obi 10%,it will be ok.if tinubu gets 35%,atiku 40% kwankwaso 20%,its still ok provided atiku does not beat tinubu by more than 10%.worst case scenario should be tinubu 30% atiku 40% kwankwaso 20% or tinubu 30% kwankwaso 40%, atiku 25%.but he must get 60% in sw and defeat atiku in the north central and as it stands, atiku has lost the north central yo obi and tinubu.its now left for tinubu to win one of ne/nw or if possible win both or lose narrowly while staying close to atiku in se/ss...

Your analysis is superb. APC needs maximum vote in the SW and as it stands Tinubu is going to win big in SW especially in Lagos.

There are some annoying opinion here given Peter Obi, 30% in Lagos state while some are even saying Obi will win Lagos state because of larger number of Igbo.

Let me state it clearly that Obi will not win 1 single Local government in the presidential election in Lagos state.

Obi cannot win Ojo Local government where they have the largest population not to talk of other areas with lesser population.

Back this up with evidence. He who asserts must prove. It doesn't have to be a lengthy reply - just a brief summary of the details - roads, schools, hospitals, ports etc.

^^^
What does the above even mean?

Unfortunately for you, things like fiscal policy have indicators that can be measured. Buhari's federal government has recorded a budget deficit every year from 2015 to date - and his government will still record a deficit this year. What is there to celebrate? undecided

Prove your claims about a stellar undecided FG fiscal performance relative to the states. We are not children here.

^^^
No he hasn't.

The constitutional amendment bills (including bills for LG financial autonomy) from the NASS are still rotting away in various state houses of assembly as I write. Buhari's party has a majority in the NASS and also has the majority of state governors as well as majorities in state legislatures. Yet, the Buhari led APC government has been unable to successfully pass bills for LG fiscal autonomy - after 8 long locust-ridden years. With all his influence and the powers at his disposal Buhari (like all the other failed presidents before him) has been unable to get his party to enthrone this basic principle of fiscal federalism. If that bill isn't passed before he leaves, Buhari can add this to his long list of failures.

^^^
To make these claims isn't hard. Proving it with evidence is the difficult part.

Prove your claims, sir.
What do you want me to prove about Buharis sterling performance in infrastructure? The evidence are there for all to see. 2nd Niger bridge is a testimony, rail system, airport upgrading, approval sea ports are projects even his enemies cannot dispute.

You are one of the few that seems to understand the complexity of governance but you are being partisan with your reference to APC regarding passage of fiscal autonomy for Local government.

This has nothing to do with APC having majority as it is purely a personal interest of individual state government.

Tell me why did Lagos state and Rivers state pursued the control of VAT by States with Lagos and Rivers being in opposition party, yet none of the governor from the SE lend their support to this vital move that would at least lift a step in our quest for restructuring?

Why are the leeches to Nigeria resources collectively kicking against restructuring despite being in opposition party.

These are some of the things that requires a strong willed president to summoned and my post never show that Buhari is capable in that aspect.

Why are we buying diesel for #1000 a litre as against the #250 under past president?
A litre of fuel is now #200 as against the #97 he met it.
He promised to make the commodities more cheaper during campaign.
A bag of rice is #40k as against the #10k under gej.All these analyses you are giving are not factual. You are just a brown envelope blogger.
You have to carryout a comparative analysis when measuring performance of a government to have idea of it's work.

How much was diesel, kerosene, fuel sold in Cameroon, Chad, Benin, Togo or Ghana in 2015 with Nigeria and juxtaposed it to how much is being sold today.

What about other commodity as well as exchagebraye in Nigeria and those countries.

The problem of Nigerians is exaggerating our worth and lack of in-depth knowledge about how global economy affect local ones.

What could a government that solely depend on oil done when the price crashed below 30$/ barrel?

How would a government that doesn't want to remove subsidy in a private driven of oil importation when neighbouring countries ended up with half of our subsidies fuel?

How would a government that it's only source of forex comes from oil sales and diaspora remittance when the reserves have dried up and there's nothing left to sustain value of the naira.

What would a government do when the foundational structure is faulty and the entire nation needs a restructure?

It is easy to criticize especially when you are a novice
