This rail project is Fasholas , he started it, took loans and the present governor completed it.
Some posts don't deserve a response but I'll reply thus to clear up your ignorance. How do you own a multinational company without establishing one? You have to register your company for it to gain local and international acceptance. The day LAMATA was created was the beginning of the transformation of the transportation system in Lagos state. Not only that but other agencies like LIRS, LASTMA, LAWMA, etc.

Stop being ignorant, governance is a continuum and we are only appreciating Tinubu for his visionary leadership and exemplary courage in birthing that institution,
Travel › Re: LASG Announces Completion Of First Phase Of Lagos Light Rail (Marina To Mile 2) by Ttalk:
When you tell them about the role played by Tinubu, they will downplay it and say it doesn't matter.

They said raising IGR is nothing but hogwash, to them, IGR means nothing and should not be used as a yardstick to measure the performance of a governor.

This makes me wonder why everyman including Tinubus critics strives to grow their income. Every worker wants a pay rise, and a businessman wants a higher profit, but Tinubus critics say IGR doesn't reflect in the standard or the people.

How do you raise your standard of living if you can't generate enough income to meet your needs?

They are so delusional and fancies the feeding bottle arrangement where every state depends on the FG to meet its needs. No wonder their forefathers were the ones that truncated regional autonomy while the children keep maintaining it.

How do you rationalize people that are against the state's collection of VAT?

Now we are seeing the wonders that a high IGR can do for a state. Today, Lagos is setting another record in sub-Saharan Africa by modernizing its transport system.

Let other states increase their IGR so they can embark on transformational projects, I'm sick and tired of people defending mediocre when they should be talking, a state like Anambra should be on the course if the foundation laid by Chris Ngige to generate income for the state have been kept by the subsequent governors, today, Anambra has dropped on that ladder and it would take the state 7years budget to do what Lagos will do in a year with its budget of 1.7 trillion.

Let's all charge our state governors to perform and stop celebrating mediocrity.

If Tinubu has done it in Lagos, he will do it again at the federal level.

Vote Bola Ahmed Tinubu,

Most of us Nigerians don't know how to do call out on something we feel is erroneous. Even when that (sneaky) wasn't my intention in the beginning, I then had to delay clarification and apology because of the insults and manner by which our people called me out on that.

Is there not economic competition in Lagos, sir? Yet which ethnicity is clearly still dominating?

Is there no tribe laying claim to Lagos historically? Yet which ethnicity is winning the historical battle?

Haven't a political figure tried to wrestle power from ACN/APC in the past and promised a certain ethnicity some political influence in Lagos State if voted for? What do you think will happen if he succeed?

See boss, I avoided mention any ethnicity and these points to prevent tribal war or being accused of stoking one.

It's not fair to continue doing this after I had explained and apologized.
We know who you are, stop disguising.

First, that person u quoted misinterpreted my comment. And then he called me sub human. Imagine that kind of insult to a fellow man. Yet we blame the whites for exuding far less of such kind character. It's not fair, sir.

Second, I believe the liberal nature of the Yoruba is moderate and major leeway to their being more progressive in Nigeria.

I was born and bred in the West, boss. Extremism, most of the time, breeds terrorism. And laxity breeds degeneration or loss of value. I believe the Yoruba society is balance except what u are saying is that laxity has set in.

I may creat a thread on that later to avoid derailing this thread.
You are a sneaky lair and a bigot and hate filled individual who go about hating and demeaning a race that is better than you.

For once, Reuben Abati jam his master, this article sweet my belle, na to drink cold water on top and have a nice sleep.

Those who live in a glass house don't throw stones, Abati who is living on bail condition is accusing Tinubu, a man who soiled his hands dirty when he found himself amid a slush fund where a whooping 500million find its way through Abati's dark skin into his belly.

Where is his morality, a first-class bla bla, who threw away caution on national TV to brag about his brown envelope profession?

Now that Abati's book of sins has been laid bare, what is remain of our PDP card-carrying journalist who is frustrated that Tinubu snubbed his failed Townhall meeting?

It's like all the Arise TV presenters have issues with their temperament

Mention one thing he erected as Governor for 8year.

Sebi lagos was bush before he became governor in 1999, no bridge, no road, no airport, no seaport. He just came and built all that within 8years.

Tell us how he built them since you all claimed he built lagos.

Stop telling me about igr nonsense that every states have been generating since the beginning of Nigeria.

I know if he eventually becomes the president which won't happen, you guys will claim he develop Abuja and the whole Nigeria.
Your asked what Tinubu did and the guy pointed out IGR, now you are shifting it to what he erect.

Is it that you don't know the importance of IGR or what it means to the survival of a state?

I think the only people in Nigeria that doesn't belong to the same genetic lineage is the Fulani, every other people are just the same.

For example the traditional fishing method of Awori of Yoruba people is almost the same with the Ahoada people in Rivers state. When you travels different parts of Nigeria you begin to see things that point to this common descendant that could not have been coincidence

Many ignorant people are questioning what Tinubu did as a governor between 1999 and 2007, they thought governance start and end with building roads, bridges, and airports.

However, few have been able to point to his reformational agenda that birthed new institutions in Lagos state many of which shaped the development of Lagos state.

Below are institutions built by Tinubu

1) SINGLE TREASURY ACCT

2) LIR ( Lagos internal revenue ) IGR

3) LAMATA ( Lagos management Transportation ) UNDER DIS ARE, Light rail, highway road construction and over head bridge, BRT TERMINALS, BRT BUSES...

4) LASWA ( Lagos waterway transportation )

5) LASTMA ( Lagos traffic management )

6) LASEMA ( Lagos safety/ emergency management)

7)LASERA

cool NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH

9) MILLENNIUM SCHOOLS

10} REHABILITATED ALL LAGOS FIRE SERVICE CENTER... Introduced emergency toll line 24 hours.

11)52 LOCAL COUNCIL DEVELOPMENT AREA ..built an additional 52 LCDA for grassroots development
12)EKO ATLANTIC

What do you want from the next president of Nigeria, to build infrastructure or to build an institution
