All that show of shame of openly negotiating with bandits was bound to backfire and anger some hard-core military personnel. It screams capitulation and goes against everything they were indoctrinated with at military schools. The Nigerian Army we know will all rather perish than be seen openly negotiating with terrorists.

P.S: The FG already have an impending fiasco with the West, they had better not try to add China to the mix. It serves no purpose leaking that the Colonel Al-Makura "just returned from a course in China". China has a well-known policy of non-interference.

Okay. Is it the South that is in power now or the Yorubas? The North made Tinubu president with 5.6m votes. He did not win the South. Bottomline, you cannot "handover" power to anyone. It was given to you in the first place by the North.
You will understand better in 2031.

Presently your core north has no choice, people that are weak to the extend of negotiating with bandit.

Think of the SW taking position of SE to quit your bandit invested country. Am sure your can't imagine Nigeria without SW and SE in the hands of bandit.

No one is giving any ticket to anyone. If Obi cannot defeat Atiku in a primary, then he cannot defeat Tinubu in the general election. Or will he demand that Tinubu hands power over to him after demanding for the ticket in the primary? If the South unites behind Tinubu and it's enough to get him reelected, then so be it. Tinubu has already tactically disenfranchised Obi if the Sahara Report is true. Power will return to the North whether in 2027 or 2031. The only question will be what's in it for the South, especially the Southeast?
Stop lying to yourself, though Obidients and Peter Obi has been so irritating, rigid and egocentric but they are still better than the North that has destroy itself with fantasm and insecurity

The only thing SE can do when they get power is try to covet Lagos and Yoruba people will send them packing to their village in whatever form.

However, no one is ready to vote core north this time around and there's no gaslighting or cajole that will change that, if the SE are gullible they can sheepily succumb to the North manoeuvre.

Get this, by the time South finishes we are giving power to the NC, if you like bring in all the Fulani in all the world to continue causing insecurity

Give it to Peter Obi and you will divide the south into two and take the larger share.

The Middle Belt is an easy home for Obi especially if you put agents on ground to prevent change of results.

Then Atiku, Tambuwal and co will deliver larger chunk of the core North, and the election is won.

Nigeria is one of the richest countries in the world...

In terms of natural resources that is basic knowledge.

Everybody knows that. They don't have to be the richest or richer than US before we tag them as rich.

That they live below expectations and their potential is not due to the absence of available resources but due to mismanagement and vision less of their leaders.

This is simple to understand!
Stop that nonsense, Nigeria is not one of the
richest countries. Having potential to be rich is different from being rich.

The 10 richest countries by natural resources are Russia, the United States, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Iran, China, Brazil, Australia, Iraq, and Venezuela. These countries are ranked by the estimated value of their natural resources, which include fossil fuels, timber, and minerals like gold, copper, and iron ore

Nigeria has what it takes to shut other countries including China and america to stand still. But we invest in stupidity instead of proper education and learning.

If nigeria utilizes it full potentials when the country makes a strong notation all other countries in the world will stand still watch and listen. But we are the problem because we let people with less vision to lead us to the dept of the bottom hell.
Even if you utilize all your potentials you can't still beat China.

It's not only Nigeria that has human and Natural resources all these abound the surface of the earth.

Nigeria is cool but not exceptional

Yes. Nigeria is a very poor country. A lot of Nigerians are under the illusion that we're rich and prosperous. The government should pay for my light, electricity, school fees, fuel, etc. They have the money, but they're looting it.

Sorry to burst your bubble. But Nigeria is actually a very poor country, even if we account for the looting and all other nonsense.

To calculate someone's wealth, you use their income and expenses.

I had a look at Nigeria's budget, which is basically how much we spend. And it's so freaking low. Especially if you divide it by our population.

You can check the list of countries by budget expenditure per capita. Nigeria is right next to shithole broke countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh and co. When you think of those countries, do you think of rich countries?

Most Nigerians think that we're rich like Saudi Arabia. But we're not. We're poverty stricken.

I recently discovered just right now that Iraq earned $90 billion from oil in 2024. How much did Nigeria earn? $30 billion. Meanwhile, Iraq has to share $90 billion amongst 50 million people while Nigeria has to share for 200 million.

And I literally saw someone online lamenting about Iraq being a shithole third world country.

By the way, check out the budget for our African peers like Egypt and South Africa. Egypt's budget is 3x higher than ours.

Of course, you could say that we are rich in natural resources bla bla bla. I doubt we are as rich in resources as most Nigerians think. But even if we were, it doesn't mean shit. Potential income is not the same as income. I mean... I could as well say that if you work hard and start a business, you could be a billionaire. But you're not. You're most likely poor. Potential to be rich is not the same as being rich.

Once you understand that Nigeria is actually a poor country, many Nigerians would know where the problem starts from and stop saying asinine shit like government should pay for my light, electricity, fuel, school fees, food, and even my wedding.
I concur with you 💯%

Crude oil revenue is pegged in dollar but Nigeria still earned other revenue in different currencies and the overall budget is computed and calculated in naira.

If they ask you that as a Yoruba man you are, can you write in one or two paragraphs what Igbos did to you personally that warrant the kind of hatred you harbor for Igbos, can you?

You are wasting your precious time and energy hating people that hold no grudge against you.

It is Igbos that ought to be showing complete disdain towards you because:

1.) They noticed our inability to live in peace and made attempt to secede for peace to reign, but you instead joined forces with Northern Nigeria backed by Britain/Egypt/Arab Nations/USSR to fight them and force them to rejoin your Nigerian union that refused to work

2.) You and majority of your people have been doing everything humanly possible to stop an Igbo person from becoming Nigeria's President.

3.) You use politics of division and treachery to corner all the goodies that comes from Nigeria's central government to your region and also mock Igbos for coming to your region after using federal politics of gangup with the North to corner national resources and infrastructures to your region (Lagos).

4.) A man from your region is President and continues to hold Nnamdi Kanu fighting for freedom and equal treatment for his people, instead of your brother to wash off his hands from Buhari's mistakes and release him to go, he continues to hold him, ask yourself if an Igbo person as President is doing this how would you and your people feel?

5.) Your tribesman who is the President has shown so much disdain and neglect to Igbos and Southeast without remorse or shame in all he does yet to people like you, it is normal

6.) In 1970 when the civil war ended, a Yoruba man, Awolowo headed the economic and financial team of the Nigerian federal government that seized every money Igbos had in Nigerian government before the civil war and only handed Igbos with proof of having an account in Nigerian banks just 20 pounds no matter how many thousands or millions they had in bank before the war broke out.

7.) Awolowo also brought the starvation policy during the civil war that led to heartbreaking starvation and hunger in Biafra during the war which led to deaths of millions of Igbo civilians, mostly children and elderly, which forced Biafra elites to beg Ojukwu to please surrender to save Igbo children from further dying of hunger.

These are just but a few of atrocities your people committed against Igbos as a whole that affected virtually every Igbo person, now tell me why you despise the Igbos so much that you always speak with bitterness even on casual topics that don't warrant such bitterness?
No one hate you. But why did Ojukwu moved his battalion towards Lagos. Remember he first bombed Lagos a Yoruba territory and a region that wasn't part of the war,?
