My visa was cancelled with a 5 year ban.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by tteam(f):
So, i have been hesistant posting my bad experience, but who knows where help can come from.
So it goes thus:
During my visa renewal interview(been to the US before)i denied being pregnant.
(Hadnt come across this thread then)
Fast forward to months later, very slim me with a huge bump at 32 weeks decides to birth in houston.
The cbp officer asks why am here, i say birthing n vac. He said why did i deny being pregnant and sends me in for secondary questioning.
I spent 24 hours there, wasnt allowed to contact my family in the us or 9ja. Paying my docs fee in full didnt help.
I was jst sent back, my visa cancelled and no chance to withdraw my application by myself. They called it misrepresentation of a matrrial fact.
So i kuku come back to port harcourt, had my adorable son and weve been fine.
So thats my story. And all this was in 2013
Anyone with ideas on how i am suppose to right this wrong?
@popri, @firsttymum, @ all the gurus here.....
Show me that posting my story here wasnt in vain.
Thanks. .

Tobbermum.
So sorry about your ordeal.
You need your space and you need it urgently.
Between now and next week, i think you should leave very early and return very late. Let them not see you again before they would build high bp for you.
It is well dear
Tobermom:
Thanks dear

Hi everyone,
Congrats to all the new mamas, successful POE stories and visa interview stories, both posted and concealed smiley
Just to emphasize to us that after all is said and done, pray, pray, pray!
A friend just told me of how someone was sent from JFK yesterday, didn't get the whole details but she had 12k USD, she declared all, she had all her documents, declared her preg, they counted her money and called the hospital, dunno what the person in the hospital admin said about cost and that was it..
She was sent back

May God not allow this happen to anyone of us o..

hi house
good to know everyone is doing great.
i traveled to Houston on the 5t of October ad wast let in.
Even after showing my payments to west Houston and declaring how much i had.
Their reason was that i lied i was not pregnant during my visa interview.
had the most horrifying experience ever.
i am back in Nigeria now, thank God i and baby are safe.
apart fro me, two other 9ja ladies were set back too.

learning point: state preg stats when applying for visa, if u already have a visa then by all means avoid Houston. there are devils there searching out for black preg women.
wishing everyone goodluck wit their plans

@fabulous mum. Thanks for your detailed info. i had to carry pen and paper whilst reading your post. Lool.

You said you applied for a nigerian passport from Washington. So does that mean you had to travel from el paso to Washington just for the passport.

hello everyone.
this thread has been the most informative ever. I commend you all.
about MHIS, i just confirmed that the cost on the site is exactly all that is required and i would be travelling there in october to have my baby. Any to-be-mums travelling there around this time should signify so we form our own forum and if possible meet there, shop together and hang out.
