The Super Eagles had not failed. They were two goals down and had enough chance to turn the game around. Remember Atlanta? When we were down 3-1 to Brazil and Okocha missed a penal, do you think it would have been fair for our fans to start booing them?

That was a critical time for the fans to get behind the team. If Uyo remains the official playing ground of the Super Eagles, the fans should know they have a responsibility to support the team, even in trying times.
