Politics › Re: Power Supply Drops Below 3,000MW Over Shortage Of Gas by Tuktuk: 8:16am On Dec 01, 2016 |
Anyone of us who has been privileged to work in the power sector understands exactly what all of these means to the sector, and our economy at large. We need to look at other sources of power generation. As much as renewable power sources are alternatives which are somewhat reliable, they are not sustainable. Especially in Africa. They are just too expensive. As a nation we are blessed with coal in abundance but our leaders signed a global pact on clean energy development. As much as it is a welcome development, it is keeping us far away from evolving as a nation due to the fact that we cannot harness our resources such as coal to develop our industries. It is a fact that global warming is a phenomenon we all have to deal with but why are we paying the ultimate sacrifice for other developed economy? America, China, India and a host of others are the most guilty of terrible acts of global warming. They still use these sources of energy while investing on cleaner alternatives through research and development. Our leaders should do same. Do as they do not as they say. We flare gas in the NIGER delta region which could have been used to generate power. Common my people, so long as we do not think outside the box and we continue to look to the west for our internal challenges, we are going no further as a nation. |

Zedoo: Practical steps to win your husband back...
One day when he is not around, Watch what he watches, not to indulge, but learn their "language"...
Initiate a sex chat with him, maybe while he is in the office or something..... And tell him that you can't wait to "feel his **** that ure so Hot right now and etc, your description should fit that of what he watches and imagines....
Its disgusting for you to talk lyk them pornstars BUT this is practical here is not to start running around to one "man of God"....
Back to topic....
He will be caught of guard the first time you try it....but do it again and again....the sex chat will work on his mind and your channel will begin to show again in his "mind t.v".
Then you can move it a notch up to a sex call.....
This will take a week..... Ure still working on his mind....
Then...the final stage....
Read carefully....
Every dude that is addicted to porn has a particular lady, style or type he likes.... If its a lady there is a particular way she talks and behaves.....and you will have to go this mile....
Get to the market, buy something close to her outfit, hair style n all....
Surprise him, by putting it on, and starting to touch him while he is watching the crap.....if he responds....you guys should have a go at it, while the porn is playing; this will keep his mind active and interested....
After three days of doing this, On the fourth day, while ure hard at it, turn d laptop away or close it and when he tries to react, grab him harder and speak the pornsters language...."oh yea f*ck me with your big black **** oh yea daddy pound that pu**y" etc....just get nasty outa your comfort zone....
I expect to see your testimony soon PLUS, pray there is no other person he conducts practicals with....
Verdict: You NEED a new wave in your bedroom....your current bedroom self contrasts highly with what turns his dark side on in the closet.....find whatever it is...and be it.... could not stop myself from laughing. butyousurely are right. |

NoMoreTrolling: I'd advice the wifey to be more open minded and try to keep fit.
At least do your part and then if that doesn't help, then you can take additional action.
Why, for instance, would I watch a bj scene if my wife already gives good head
Ask him what his fantasies are and try to be open minded enough to accommodate them, even if it's just once in 3 months, or on his birthday.
Does he wanna tie u up Spank ur bummm "Hit it" from behind Cuuum in ur mouth ... ... ...

On the flip side though, some guys actually do prefer masturbation(from porn) to sex, as they have mastered the prefered ways they like to be touched.
In that case, tell him to show you where and how he likes to be touched.
___________________________
On the z flip axis, you'd find guys that will still watch porn and masturbate no matter what you do.
In this case, I'd recommend you both attend therapy, if his will power is non existent to let go entirely of his former life.
The good news is that, nothing is impossible and with the loving support of a caring wife, giving up porn should be somewhere between low and moderately difficult. @op, pls think this advice here through. it makes a whole lot of sense. To add to this, Pray!!! to God about it. Prayers moves mountains. pray consistently about it. Finally, be his fantasy..... be less Judgemental and more open to his wild fantasies. act out some of those scenes he likes watching and watch with him too. get to understand how, when, and where he likes it.step up your Bedmatics games. God Bless n keep your home |

toys2seven: Monitoring!
I repeat, monitoring is key.
If you can, monitor your project first hand. For quite a number of reasons, your project manager might not be able to handle stuffs to the latter like you would.
And like I tell some of my clients, once you have a standing structure, the finishing (which is another project in itself) can come in one after the other.
Well done bro. God is your strength. Hmmm God really is because its just crazy(permit the use of word). i sure will. thanks for chipping in. |

Ytechconst: My brother....May God see you through this project because anybody building now is a powerful person, everything going up everyday, we also started a project first week of September we had to be reviewing the bill at each stage of procurement, variation showing at all stages.
As i have advised my client, we need to bring down the specification for finishing, not to the lowest though, but average, where we use Spanish tiles use first grade china tiles, where we use first grade British sanitary & Electrical fitting adopt first grade china fittings.
Also on the carcass i mean block work and concrete works, ensure their is a professional on ground to monitor concrete mix so that cement will not be over used, let 1:2:4 be 1:2:4 and 1:3:6 be 1:3:6 for concrete mix, for mortar mix let 1:6 be 1:6...All this so called casters with their battered head pan that does not measure the complete measurement of head pan will add additional 10 to 15 bags of cement to a concrete work that needs just 100 bags. Also structural drawings should be followed strictly so as to avoid over reinforcement in structural members.
To wrap it up, all we need to do is to monitor material usage to ensure their is no wastage.
All will be well by God grace my brother. thanks for this invaluable advice, really appreciate it. |

It happens that i am building a house during this recession. the prices of building materials have increased astronomically due to the free fall of Naira majorly against the Dollar as we all know. 1. cement now costs 2160 (trailer load to the site in 2 batches) 2. a tonne of iron rod now as at 3 weeks ago i bought for 158,000 for 16mm, 12mm, and 10mm respectively. 3. roof sheets goes for about 4250-6500 depending on type n thickness, not to talk about tiles, and fittings. hmmmm As much as i have no option but to continue with project, it is draining me fast. all prices are for Abuja. tips and ideas on how to save even a kobo will be appreciated. @lalasticlala pls do the needful |

Babztemmy: @freshraymond. Thank you. We dated for only two months. But we knew we liked eachother. The mistake we made was we had no clue it doesn't and by liking. Okay now we both now actually realise we don't understand each other AT ALL. When we argue he reminds me that it was his mum who begged him to stay cause I was pregnant for him but planned pregnancy we both planned it. When we argue he also reminds me of how he wished he never settled down with me. When he is angry like this am his greatest night mare. Sometimes I just want to run away as in far away from him. He HATES me sooo much when he is angry. What keeps me going is he is really nice. He is a very nice guy and that's my encouragement he gives me everything I ask for, in terms of finances, and then our sexual life is perfect. BUT the understanding each other aspect is not working. I don't know what else to do @OP dear, you see in life we dont always get what we want. we simply make the most of what we have. STOP with the arguments already. no matter how tempted you are, try not to talk back for the sake of your sanity and the wellbeing of your relationship. hmmm he takes care of you, most of all your sex life as you said is perfect. you have got a very good man. he is for keeps. don't throw away the baby with the bath water as it is said. see, look inwards and sought yourself out first. if he wants to be worshipped like a king, why not? isit too much to ask for? do what makes him happy because it seems your definition of 'happy" is different from his. seems you have not taken out time to understand your mans Love language. you need to understand him, his body language and things or acts that truly makes him happy and do as much of it as you can. Talk of running away, where to? you face your problems head on with a mission to finding a long lasting problem not running away or finding quick fix solutions. simple acts such as "pls" and "thank you" goes a long way. if he is the kind that likes kneeling to greet by all means do.it puts a smile on his face and feels happy, that in turn keeps you happy because he will be kind to you. if he wants to be spoon feed, pls do. if he wants to be bathed by all means. if you truly love him, all these should be effortless. Sister, work on yourself. these are self inflicted problems. you have a good man dont throw him to the dogs. trust me the market is saturated as it where if you know what i mean. God Bless and keep you both happy. ohh by the way...... no derogatory name calling. |

Evacroft: Well, As for me I will say call a spade a spade, leave him and don't try working on the relationship. I was once in ur shoes. Pple wouldn't even believe he is bad untill I made them to start seeing the real him. He will drain u of all ur inner securities, and they never change. Once u see a lousy man or an overly quiet one double check before going neck deep. The truth is he loves u,but in a very wrong way,and mark my words he will abuse u both physically and emotionally with time cos he himself is not stable emotionally. Has he started been manipulative? He will and will also blackmail u emotionally. Talk to friends and family 'bout him they will help u thru it. Best of luck. my sister, you have said it all. seems you have a whole lot of experience with such type of men. possessive, annoyingly jealous, overly manipulative, control freaks. greenmonk: The fact is that with the current cost of solar panels and all other accessories needed for the successful installation and efficient utilization of same, no country including the US have been able to use it beyond a back-up mode for essential services. Anybody dreaming to use solar in commercial volume is just day-dreaming for now. my point exactly. solar panels are very expensive. we have enormous coal deposits in enugu and other places what is wrong with building coal fired plants like most or all developed nations? they preach climate change but practice that in reality. Nigerian Government should do as they do not as they say. secondly id because of pipeline vandalization the government is thinking of diversifying our energy sources, then we are in a sorry state. why dont the Government find a lasting solution to that problem while we continue to harness other sources. that i think is what a serious minded and proactive government does. finally the decision to build generating plants right where the energy source is,is a welcomed development, however the unity and interdependency of different parts of this country should be put into consideration in all of this. this is what makes Nigeria a nation. |

I stay off toying with 220volt sources, so sadly I still need to depend on inverter guys to do the installations for the power points for gadgets that use 220/240volt sources.
I was still able to get some stuffs like 12 volt pressing iron, USB powered blender & mixer (it's broken now), 12 volt powered mini fridge and heater etc that I still use for now. Guyman02: The attributes above apply. She is easily angered, dissatisfied, irritated, negative, or resentful. She can find something negative about any event, and she frets and talks most about that. She is not satisfied. She is hardly ever content, seldom your sweet lover, but always irritated and stressed out.
My wife has anger problem too, it has really taken a toll on me physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually, I have spent years agonizingly trying to work around it and many times wonder why I had to go into the union. Instead of living home with a kiss and wish for a wonderful day at work, you receive abuse and a frown because she is still resentful of yesterdays argument and this can affect the rest of your day and perhaps your output at work or business. If you think marrying her will change her will be your worst mistake in life. If she doesn't change totally before marriage, then she will not change in marriage except by divine intervention. All of this agreed. but i have a question though, Who is a Contentious Man/Husband? who is an Angry Husband? |

peacettw: I agree with you here. It really isn't safe giving your child antibiotics all the time. It creates a state of drug resistance. Moreover, most cough and catarrh are caused by viruses and there are no antibiotics for viruses. In other words, there are no drugs for it. When we give antibiotics, then we are suspecting a bacterial infection in addition to the viral infection, otherwise, if it is just viral, then it is self limiting meaning it will go on its own in about a week.
In my center, we really don't treat simple cough and catarrh by giving antibiotics. I say simple, because a doctor listens to the chest to rule out serious infection as well as access for signs of difficulty in breathing. When these are present, then it is no longer simple but complex. Hence we advise mothers of any baby less than 6 months with cough and catarrh to visit the hospital cos it just might be the complex type. thanks to this tread i have not visited the Doctor for sometime now. i give my Boy vitamin c daily 5mls morning and evening. |
