I've never read the book but I'm pretty sure the author would write essentially on it, highlighting the good (merits) the bad (demerits) and the ugly. Common........ at least...... the author was courageous enough to come out with such factor associated with teenagers. That is the real sex EDUCATION. Nobody is promoting masturbation........sex education needs to cover masturbation before it can really be called SEX EDUCATION if you asked me...... and I really can't be wrong on this. If I was wrong, then the writers guild is also wrong!!!

This story is misleading...d book says ways of achieving sexual satisfaction without intercourse not a way to abstain. To the morality of masturbation,Maybe u should have said d writer should highlight why masturbation is not good. In any case it's possible d textbook will discuss masturbation as a sub topic on the next page where d advantage(if any) and disadvantage of masturbation will be highlighted there. But as u no show us d next page now.
