Op, its one of those things. As Long as you are not the owner of the business or company, your appointment can be terminated at any time, JUST LIKE YOU CAN RESIGN ANYTIME TOO according to your terms of engagement. Vis-à-vis: A. 1 month notice from either party, B. 1 month Basic salary in lieu of notice from both parties. -Were you paid In lieu of notice? -Did you have any prior work experience before joining the bank? -During your interview, did you promise to bring some big accounts and business which were later impossible to accomplish? -During your Interview, did you give false accounts of your experience? Or lied about your position so you can a higher one? -While working were there incidents/Incidence of caution from your supervisors or superiors? The reasons for termination is quite wide, however please note that when the bank wants to cut cost due to economic situations, they streamline and some performing staff will be deemed surplus to requirement, not because they are not good but because the bank can't mafford to keep them on their payrol. Whichever is your case, i will Advise you pick yourself up, dust yourself and move up in Life. My 50kobo! |
