Kogi Guber: Audu will return the N11bn he stole if elected - APC Chairman

Kogi State APC Chairman, Alhaji Hadi Ametuo, has assured Kogi people that his party’s candidate in the forthcoming governorship poll, Prince Audu Abubakar, would return the over N11 billion he allegedly stole while in office.

Audu is being prosecuted by the anti-graft agency, EFCC, for misappropriating N11 billion of the states’s funds while he was governor between 1999 and 2003.

Responding to the questions from the media regarding Audu’s 11billion naira EFCC case, he said “Nobody is a saint. No governor can claim he has not done any malpractice or stolen anything during his time in the office.

“We heard of Saraki’s case, even Tinubu is being accused of stealing funds but the truth is that Prince Abubakar Audu has pledged to return the money to the Kogi treasury when he gets elected on the November 21st, yes he will return the 11billion naira or even more than that and that will add to the Kogi economy”.

Ametuo, who rated Audu’s first term in the office more than the current government of Capt. Idris Wada, added that Audu deserved the electoral votes of the Kogi people due to his experience and achievements in his first time at the Lugard House.

Hello,

After a long period of soul-searching and consultation, I'm pleased to announce that, while Nairaland cannot promote any charity case due to the reputational risk, we will start to donate to charity cases that have touched our hearts and touched the hearts of Nairaland members.

Consequently, I have just donated 100,000 naira on behalf of Nairaland Forum to one of the charity cases that has touched our hearts.

Regards,

Today, another October 1st has come and gone, she and her group are nowhere to be found.

akksplendor:
A Nigerian man was apprehended and charged with s*xual assault after pulling down his pants, bringing out his joystick, self servicing and releasing sperm on a woman, police in the United Kingdom said. The 32-year-old man identifed as Peter Fabiyi has been sentenced to serve 4 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of s*xual assault.

According to the Bullet Gist, Fabiyi stood directly in front of the 20-year-old victim on the train before pulling down his pants and self servicing with vigor.

Fabiyi released his sperm on the woman who then fled to the next car and reported the assault to another passenger who called the police. Fabiyi was identified and caught after police reviewed surveillance videos of the train.  In addition to the prison sentence, Fabiyi has been banned from approaching women traveling alone in trains except for transportation employees.

Are you a Nigerian man pls? I can't believe I'm reading this on this forum. Your 'brothers' on NL actually do not see anything wrong in a man who patronises $luts, a man who probably has gotten countless STDs and a man who accuses another person of the same thing he is guilty of.

Because they started slowly doesn't mean it will continue with the same pace till the end. Av u ever been involved in a time framed projects before? Besides, before now, it wasn't done at al, never saw ur complaint for once, now that it has started u are shouting blue murder. Aren't u being hypocritical here.

It seems you are too eager to respond, hence failing to read properly.
It was never done before and that is why we said enough is enough.
In light of that, we expect performance, which is on a 'its coming mode'. Is it wrong to question why the delay in taking action? NO!

If you think i am shouting Blue murder cos of the slow start, thats because i expected a Massacre and not Palace justice.

BRING THEM OUT TO THE OPEN AND PROSECUTE IRRESPECTIVE OF AFFILIATIONS.
I can't remember Voting for someone to start slow, we voted for a soldier a Born ready Soldier, so Statying slow was not part of the deal.

Charity must begin at home. Yet, PDP is still complaining about a party purifying itself.

What exactly does PDP want for Nigeria?

Nigeria demands Justice against those who have bled this nation to comatose.

Justice delayed is Justice denied.

This govt must act fact.

This snail speed is nauseating.

Did u emerge from the cave recently? Dasuki is pdp and currently being prosecuted.

Oh Pls! Its been 4 months already and no Criminal Judgement.

With the massive Figures being reportedly stolen by individuals in the past Administration prior to may 29, i would have expected that scores would have been charged already and the judiciary busy with cases by now.

However all i have seen in terms of prosecution is very discouraging.

And i wonder what happened to all those accused of Impunity all of a sudden.

Stop speaking from both sides of the mouth.
The anti-corruption drive will certainly knock on all doors in the fullness of time.

PDP is already pissing in its pants just because the driver is blowing the horn, but don't shiver yet your time will come soon enough.

Please remember to call on your disciples if you need the comments as badly as you always do.

I am yet to see any PDP prosecuted.

If the offenses are so obvious, why hasn't public prosecution started?
