samsard: Would you rather have intelligent people sit around and explains things away with simplistic explanations like you are currently doing? or do you think if people had sat on their asses like you probably do, science, technology and medicine would have advanced this much? What has 'god' done besides being a 'confused' "mystery" that differs by these 'baseless myths' and 'illogical superstitions' called religions? Please, next time, make an intelligent contribution/comment. You Have no Idea! I can walk you through the mystries of science and technology without breaking a sweat, however all i know was taught and i can authoritatively tell you that the so called breakthroughs you see is as a result of series of failure and in most cases well strings of luck. What scientists won't tell you is that all researchs are linked to cosmopolitan elements, whose origin cannot be determined but rather estimated. And about God, i believe there is a God and He is the source of life as we know it, and He is not confused, rather Mankind relied on their own understanding which has been perfect so far..... Look around you i am sure you can see how well Mankind is doing!!! |

Politics › Re: Suspected Boko Haram Member Attacks Civil Defence Corps Officer In Anambra by tunergy(m): 11:51pm On Jul 01, 2015 |
Royal155: Pandemonium broke out Tuesday evening at Nkpor Junction in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra state, near Onitsha, when information filtered that a man suspected to be a Boko Haram member was spotted in the area with explosive materials on his person.
According to eye witness account, the man, a Northerner, had boarded a bike from Umuoji community to an undisclosed destination and the cyclist who became uncomfortable with his mannerisms and the contents of the passenger’s bag, suddenly stopped at Nkpor junction and alerted the armed men of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) who quickly cordoned off the area and made to arrest the man.
The Northerner resisted arrest and engaged the officers in a struggle before punching one of them. The officers finally overpowered him and frantically searched his bag as on-lookers and inhabitants of the area scampered for safety, suspecting that the man may be carrying a bomb or other explosive device.
The news quickly spread within Onitsha and environs, even as some shop owners within the area quickly made efforts to close and run away from the scene. Our reporter on the scene confirmed the incident from a civil defense officer, who said officers over-powered the suspect and whisked him off to their office for interrogation. He noted that on getting to their office, the man was searched and some six inches nails and a lighter were found in his bag.
There has been heightened fear and apprehension in Anambra since the reported relocation from the north of the detained Boko Haram insurgents to Ekwulobia prisons in Aguata Local Government Area of the state. A situation that has made residents fear that Boko Haram might invade the state in retaliatory attacks.
http://sunnewsonline.com/new/suspected-boko-haram-member-attacks-civil-defence-corps-officer-in-anambra/ Are these people DAFT? What sort of BIGOTRY is this. Assaulting an innnocent man because he is as Northerner. As since when has carrying nails and lighter became an offence? These better watching before they out run there own shadow. |

Left for me, it shouldn't have been extended.
Nigerians had from December last year till today.
Is that too short a time?
We just love doing things at the last minute.
I bet you some people would still ask for extension on that October deadline. you are right. it was announced in Feb 2014, i did mine in July 2014, I wonder why people had to wait this long. and trust me come October 30/31, this same scenario will repeat itself. |
