lexylexy: My brother, you can do it. Tell you what to do, enter Lagos, use your first week in Lagos to study the roads with the help of Google maps. Enter brt from oshodi to ajah, ikeja to yaba/ojuelegba, lekki to airport, study these routes. When you start work, always let your rider know you don't know road, tell them you're new in Lagos, there's no shame there, they will always direct you, some will frown and give you low ratings, just move on.
Some incidents are most likely to occur, latsma/police will collect from you, danfo/keke marwa will surely scratch your car, take it as a learning experience. After one month of constant driving, you'll have mastered a few major roads . You're lucky your brother is the one giving you the car, he will always understand.
I know some niggies that started like this and today they are pros. Experience is the best teacher. I strongly believe in the saying that what doesn't kill you, will always make you stronger. Just give it a try. CLASSIC |

Chuwaa: About 90% are on both platforms. It's Uber that's rude. Uber pays pittance and collects 25% from drivers, while Taxify collect's 15%. So a 'rude' Uber driver today maybe your nice Taxify driver tomorrow Exactly |

brogxy: I am having a very good day I must say. Today of all days that I woke up feeling excited to work and even dreamt that I met someone that gave me good luck. Not knowing this would happen as early as 7am. The idiot was busy dragging the road with me. I don't know how Nigerian drivers behave, they believe they must drag road with you, increase their speed once you signal to turn. Even the Uber drivers do that a lot. This is what I have been battling with since 7am. The idiot gave only 7k after everything. My number plate stolen right on the road, will have to go through the stress of police report, affidavit, getting another one. That is the bumper under the vehicle. Sigh Chaiii... Sorry about that bro....Really huge Loss of work Time... It is well |

medd422: No matter how much u make as a driver, u can’t dispute d fact that the job is tiring. There are days u feel lazy and wanna just rest. There are days u set out to work but request will hardly come your way, the next thing that will be on your mind is to just go home. There are days ur emotions will set in and you will be thinking how long am I going to continue as a driver, despite my bsc and msc, when will I become rich too, no be one person born all these small boys sitting for my owners corner? . That alone is a mood killer.
All these makes an owner driver the winner. So I will say the business is good if u own ur car. I pray for every driver on rental to get their redemption soon. May you never use ur blood to pay debts. Amen Best have seen today... GOD BLESS YOU BRO WE GO ALL REAP THE FRUIT OF OUR LABOUR |

julietromeo: Bro, I witnessed it life on Friday from 9pm to 10pm at mega chicken on lateef jakande. I dropped someone at omole estate. Checked my riders app and discovered there is no any drivers there. I reached there in 5mins. Waiting for request for like 15mins. Nothing. Check the riders app again. Only my car can be found. Stepped out of my car, I counted more than five cars that came from another area to pick riders and they are all 03/04 corolla. Most riders will check uber and lite first before they will consider taxify if none is closer to them. Regular users of ehailing have at least uber and taxify app on their phone. Quite True. |
