PoliticsRe: Those Who Orchestrated Saraki's Removal Now Call Him Mentor- Dino Melaye by tuniski: 11:05am On Jun 07, 2019
Posterity will surely be kind to Saraki, the SP who stood against tyranny and uphold legislative independence.

garfield1:
Apc is actually more democratic than pdp.Pdp almost destroyed anpp and ad,rigged elections massively and won two third of states and completely dominated the nass.under apc,we had a bipartisan assembly and has allowed other parties to thrive
Wrong APC is not more democratic rather Nigeria's democracy is growing and deepening. With every electoral cycle comes improvement. 2019 is 20yrs from 1999 and surely progress has been made. We will get to that point where violence, thuggery, money and mastery of electoral fraud will no longer be the deciding factors of electoral victory but, chiefly the peoples' will.

Apc till this moment is not a cohesive party both a nest of opportunists shielded by Buhari.

No wonder you enjoy supporting losers.history doesn't remember losers
Always narrow martyrdom comes largely upon supreme sacrifice. Nations are great for the sacrifices of those you call losers. No wonder Nigeria is crawling cos of the immediacy of winning.

PDP is the biggest winner in our democracy. APC is jjc to winning and many of its supporters like you are just shallow.

vote him as ur next governor in ur backward state of Abia, at least he will be better than Ikpeazu, but in kwara and Nigeria at large, his career is over.

May we never see him in our politics again. Ase!
He was my state governor for 8yrs and senate president for 4yrs. A successful politician by all standard. I am proudly kwaran. He can only go higher. Deal with it.

Most of these guys know they won’t win yet they go ahead to defy the party’s directive. Now they lose and still fall out of grace with the party. It’s a lose lose for them but ego won’t let them do the right thing. Ego has destroyed so many people, see the issue with Obanikoro, that guy was a strong ally of tinubu, he could have been the governor of Lagos now but he ran off and ran back now he’s going to forever be at the bottom of the food chain in APC.
They mustn't win, they simply have to stand up in defense of democracy and legislative independence. History will be kind to them.

Anyway, the leadership will be decided on the eve of inauguration.
PoliticsRe: Speakership: Court Refuses To Bar Gbajabiamila Over US Conviction by tuniski: 6:28am On Jun 07, 2019
Ikpeazukerosene:
Saraki left office yesterday, Atiku lost woefully, Kwankwanso lost terribly. You guys have an abnormal 'talent' of ensuring that whoever you vote ends up being roundly defeated.
It is politics win some lose some. For 16yrs we won comprehensively and if we lose now so be it. No big deal we will win again after all, we won 15 states governorship from a paltry 9 in 2015! That. In itself is victory so much so it puts apc in crisis.

Only narrow folks see things from a jaundiced position and gloat over a pdp's momentum like it is a disaster. It make robust engagement impossible with such people who are so petty to only be seeking bragging rights. Ciao.

You can't see any of them on this thread. Rain fell in Lagos today and rain beat stupid and bastard out of those gala hawkers.

Their gala drank water and each of them is now as big as a loaf of bread.
Always courting attention. Make your post without mentioning me please.

Never allow politicians use your business for politics cos once the opposition comes after you to pin you down, they wont be there to save you. I hope Raymond dokpesi gets out of this mess
It is not about pdp or AIT but, press freedom and the survival of our democracy.
PoliticsRe: BREAKING: Senator Goje Withdraws From Senate Presidency Race, Endorses Lawan by tuniski: 10:31pm On Jun 06, 2019
Oshigun:
Indeed. Buhari is not clowning around. Tried to be hands off in 2015 only for Saraki and Dogara, both PDP in spirit, to organise their palace coup and then use the next 4 years to frustrate Buhari as head of our two legislative houses. This time, nothing is being left to chance so enemies of Nigeria can go and jump in the Lagoon. Those of us who love our Country want an independent legislature that can check the Presidency, when necessary, but will remain alway ready to cooperate with the executive arm to move Nigeria forward. Never again the backwardness Nigeria had to endure under Saraki ad Dogara.
Good for APC, it is either they present a sole candidate or it will be dejavuu!

Buhari government has tolerate AIT enough on their unprofessional attitude. They have fully turned themselves to arm of PDP and now that reality is stirring at them in the eye, they are afraid. When you constitute yourself as opposition of government then you suffer what opposition normally suffer.
Are you okay? Smh
PoliticsRe: Buhari, APC Keep Mum As Gbajabiamila Is Enmeshed In US Fraud Scam by tuniski: 10:44am On Jun 06, 2019
seunmsg:
All these pull him down publications will not work. Gbajabiamila is the next speaker of the House of Representatives and nothing can stop him this time around. Those behind this junk publication should give it rest cos it won’t stick. If you have any evidence of criminal conviction, go to court and get judgement instead of attempting to discredit him through false publications.
Emotional rant kawai. They are already in court and have served Gbaja.

I guess Femi's escape route albeit temporarily is to claim Gbajabiamila is different from Gbaja. Whichever way, his ambition of speakership is dead!

May confusion continue to fall on them worse than that of the Tower of Babel.

We must have a cooperative NASS that will join hands to move the country forward.

The country cannot be held ransome by crooked unpatriotic criminals like SarakiD and other wolves in sheep's clothing. I'm glad the ruling party is alert with 2 eyes open to checkmate any of PDP's tricks cool

Lawan/Gbaja till 2023!
Lawan/Gbaja must be defeated on tuesday. We must have an independent NASS. Loyal to Nigeria not PMB's worshipers.

Whosoever that defeats Gbaja is the Nigerian choice. Ride on Bagos the Incoming speaker.
PoliticsRe: PDP Caucus Directs Members to Support any APC Candidates of their Choice by tuniski: 7:23pm On Jun 05, 2019
Danwakae:
Lawan and Gbaja are most experience and better choice but some cabals in the APC see them as Baba Tinubu's choice and it's really counting against them, that's the main problem because the APC has the
Numbers to floor the election but presently their house is divided against itself more than in 2015, the only person that can make Lawan Gbaja come to reality is Baba PMB, but has not really throw his weight behind them and that's where Gbaja and Lawan fears lies...there are underground plot by some big cabals within the APC against Lawan nd Gbaja choice in the name of 2023...it's only Baba Buhari that can stop them

Also almost all the lawymakerfs from the SOUTHEAST on the platform of the APC are not heartily with Lawan and Gbaja, because, Gbaja has already picked Wase from Northcentrer, while for Lawan a southsoutherner is favoured to deputise him, leaving the southeast APC memebers in the dark.
Some of the southeast APC lawymakers, argue that when the PDP was the ruling party that the south west was never a base for them even while having OBJ as president, but yet , SPEAKERSHIP was zone to the region without considering the contributions of the zone to the PDP then, but now the APC is playing otherwise on a selfish role, hold to the fact that the Southwest already has the Vice president and wants to collect the Speaker, and that's the reason y Senator Gaya from Kano northwest refuse to step down for the post of DSP...all these and some many anger within the APC can only be treated if Baba Buhari call a meeting to put an end to it , else it would be a shocker on that Dday as most APC members would vent their angers, as such, as it is now, the PDP would be the decider. And nobody knows the plan of the PDP even tho some of their memebers are seen campaigning for Gbaja and Lawan. And the the policking is more than just campaigning mostly as it may likely be a closed balloting...which will favours the opposition of Lawan and Gbaja....this NAS election is more tensed than 2015 in the APC because of the politics of 2023.

Allah ya ba mu rai mai tsawo...Amin
You sure do understand what is going on. Two things will bury Lawan and Gbaja thus: once they ain't the sole candidates and given a secret balloting. Then it is dejavuu!

You tried, but u only see and speaks from the media bruhaha,

I repeat, wait till the DeeDay and remind me of this pls

I worked at the green chanbers for yrs before I gained admisiion into the varsity, those of u outside only see what the media gives u, but the politics r hiding not until the DeeDay.

Gbaja chances were even more brightier in 2015 than in 2019 even tho he has done more campaigns in the latter...Gbaja and Lawan donot even knw their real opponents, as such, u only strategize to defeat a known opponent...In a snail shell, this 9th assembly contests is just all about 2023....pls don't forget remind me by next week, so I can tell u more about 2023
God bless you

Atiku/Nigerians will be robbed. We don't have the Judge that can announce that Buhari lost the 2019 elections, no matter the evidence. They will also consider the cost of making such announcement.
Except it is not sufficiently proven else, the Tribunal will do the needful. Remember it was a. 4:3 split decision at the supreme court in 2007 ( Yaradua Vs Buhari).
