She traveled from Berger to Ajah to Visit Uche who she has being in contact with for some time on Twitter.

Getting to Ajah, @b_moree_ was expecting Uche to go all “crazy” about her.

Unfortunately for her, the reverse was the case. Instead of giving her the much desired attention, he concentrated on his laptop.

Feeling bad about the entire issue, @b_moree_ sent a message to Damilola Marcus (@OmogeDami) telling them that Uche raped her after she Transported herself from Berger to Ajah to visit him.

@omogedami, started the thread claiming that her friend Bimbo was ‘raped’ by Uche using screenshots of chats as back up.

Not long after, Uche Immediately responded with his counter thread and screenshots of chats saying he never raped her.

Surprisingly, @b_moree_ replied and said, ‘First thing, I did not accuse Uche of rape, as you can see, I said ‘I allowed him’ I didn’t want to

have sex, but I did, because I didn’t want to get raped again’.

She did this, after Uche released screenshots of their conversation.

P.S: She has reacted to the news, and according to her calling him a rapist, was not her intention.

Conferring to a report by Vanguard states that Barrister Aisha Wakil, the Nigerian lawyer and negotiator for the Boko Haram group recently invited by the Nigerian Army for questioning is of the Igbo stock.
Wakil was reportedly born into an Igbo Christian family, but converted to Islam during her time at the University of Maiduguri where she studied law. The report stated that Wakil’s closest revelation about her linkage to being Igbo was when she was quoted to have disclosed in an interview with a national newspaper her peace-making efforts. According to her, she started the dialogue process since 2009, even before the major crisis erupted because I knew their slain spiritual leader, Muhammad Yusuf.

Her words: “His father-in-law, late Alhaji Baba Fugu Mohammed, was my spiritual father in Islam, and I used to visit his home. “In fact, Mohammed Yusuf almost married my younger sister Amina, but Almighty Allah did not make it possible. So that was how I got closer to the duo. “It went even to the extent that I was cooking food and taking it to the house of late Alhaji Fugu, to the pupils of the Qur’anic school, (almajari).
“And because I am from the southern part of the country, I normally prepared southern dishes, which Yusuf had always come to eat. In fact, he liked my egusi soup very much, and we became very close when his father-in-law told him that I was the one who cooked the food. “So anytime we met, he expressed delight and prayed that Almighty Allah would reward me, for he was eating from my pot and that was how I established a strong relationship with him.” Wakil who is always totally veiled is married to another lawyer, Wakil Gana who is presently a judge with the Borno state High Court.

The couple were named by the Boko Haram sect to negotiate on their behalf during the administration of Dr Goodluck Jonathan. Aisha’s name also featured prominently on the list of government negotiators at the time. Those in the know say, she had almost always carried out her conduct and liaisons with Boko Haram with the knowledge of the authorities. In fact, she is said to be a staff of the National Human Rights Commission. She is famed for calling the Boko Haram insurgents at one point as her children. It is surprising how these children turned out to be what they are now. I keep on saying there is certainly no smoke without fire. “Something must have triggered those innocent-looking children to grow up behaving the way they are behaving now. “You needed to see them growing up. Sometimes when I start talking about them, I shed tears. Those children prayed, and still pray a lot. I have a mosque in the house, and they would always go in and pray.” During the height of the insurgency, Aisha was able to mobilise some Borno women to come out to protest against the attacks by the Islamist group. At that time she was quoted to have referred to the Boko Haram insurgents as her children. “My sons, I have been begging you since in silence to come out and state your grievances and stop destroying your homeland. Please come out and state your grievances and stop these killings.”

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) Ebenezer Babatope, has expressed confidence that the party will send the administration of President Muhammadu packing in the 2019 general elections.

Babatope, made the statement in Ado-Ekiti on Thursday, March 10, when he paid a visit to Governor Ayo Fayose to show solidarity over the alleged invasion of the Ekiti state House of Assembly and arrest of four lawmakers, by the Department of State Service (DSS).
According to The Nigerian Eye, Babatope said the comeback of the PDP in 2019 was already predicted by the party’s victories in the recent elections. He said this was a pointer that PDP was already gaining the upper hand in Nigeria. “Apparently, there must be reasons why people now follow us.
I can tell you that the APC’s romance with power would terminate in 2019,” he said. The former minister of Transport flayed the DSS and the EFCC for harassing opposition politicians under the guise of fighting corruption.

Lauretta Onochie @Laurestar Muddled up case of Ese and Yunusa Publicity-hungry politicians initially presented the Ese Oruru and Yunusa ‘Yellow’ Dahiru affair to Nigerians as a case of a powerful and elderly Northern Muslim man who forcefully abducted a helpless young girl from Bayelsa State, forcibly
converted her to Islam, forcibly married her and then hid her in the Emir of Kano’s palace with the active collusion of many other persons. Without waiting to establish the facts of the matter, some newspapers waded into it and sensationally whipped up sentiment that caused undue tension nationally.
Now that most of the principal actors in this saga have spoken, it is clear to all discerning persons that the matter is not what Senator Ben Murray Bruce and the newspapers at first portrayed it to be. It is an unfortunate case of misguided youths plus the added factors of illiteracy and poverty but it is by no means a regional and religious conspiracy to snatch Ese Oruru and depopulate the South as they presented it to be.
Yunusa ‘Yellow’ Dahiru is not rich, elderly or powerful. He is a poor boy from rural Kano State who goes to the South annually to try to eke out a living. In Yenagoa he sells water, works as a domestic hand and as a Keke NAPEP rider. He worked for many years for the Oruru family and as often happens in human matters, he got romantically entangled with their daughter, Ese. In August last year Yunusa and Ese decided to elope, convert Ese to Islam and get married. They ran away without the knowledge of Ese’s parents. When they got to Yunusa’s village, Tofar-Danga in Kura Local Government, Yunusa expected a warm reception because he had won a convert into Islam. While the Chief Imam of Kura town did the ceremony to convert Ese to Islam, other elders who got involved in the affair were more circumspect. First was Yunusa’s father Alhaji Dahiru Bala who had earlier warned him against bringing the girl from Bayelsa and had in fact arranged a local girl for him to marry. The truth is that inter-tribal marriage is unwelcome in rural Hausaland. Yunusa was hoping that converting Ese to Islam will overcome this feeling.
Alhaji Dahiru Bala reported the matter to the village head of Tofar-Danga, who in turn reported the matter to the District Head of Kura town, Alhaji Bello Ado Bayero. The district head too reported the matter to the Kano Emirate Council. The actions of all these persons showed that they were not
involved in a conspiracy.
It also showed that they were keenly aware of the security and political implications of the young persons’ action. The Emir of Kano’s palace too conducted itself well in this matter. Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II, one of the most urbane and educated of Nigerians, wrote a letter to the Kano State Shari’a
Commission last September asking it to investigate the matter. Days later the commission came back with a finding that Ese was too young to make weighty decisions about marriage and religious conversion without her parents’ consent and should be sent back to her parents. The Emir then sent a letter to the
Police Assistant Inspector General in Kano, asking him to send Ese back to her parents through his counterpart in Bayelsa State.
It was at this point that the weaknesses of Nigerian state institutions revealed themselves. Rather than take over Ese, the AIG said it was already “late in the evening” so they should go and return the next day. The Sharia Commission, too, told the aide of the District Head of Kura, who brought the girl, to take her back to his house in Kura. This was how Ese came to stay in Kura for six months.
Yunusa then left his village and relocated to Kura but no one ever contracted a marriage between them and they did not live together. Ese’s parents were contacted and they went to Kano but she refused to follow them back to Bayelsa.
This was where matters stood until the story exploded in the newspapers. Police Inspector General Solomon Arase then acted with unusual despatch. He sent policemen to round up Ese and Yunusa, speedily transported them to Abuja, brought Ese’s mother from Bayelsa, handed her daughter to her and
then said he will charge Yunusa to court.
We congratulate Mr. Charles and Mrs Rose Oruru on the very happy event of having their daughter back with them. Their torment and suffering was shared by parents all over this country. They should learn to forgive their daughter’s errors and should do what they can to instil propriety back into her young head. We expect the Bayelsa State government and other well-meaning persons to assist them in this regard.
As for Yunusa Dahiru, We condemn his action of taking an underage Ese to Kano State without her parents’ permission.
The police should feel free to prosecute him if they believe that he committed a crime. It should however count in mitigation that Yunusa, at 18, is only just above a minor. He is also not a normal criminal because he did not spirit Ese away in order to harm her or to hold her for ransom. He is a naive rural lad who took her to his home village with the hope of marrying her when a criminally-minded, street-wise urban lad
could have just hid her somewhere.
Going forward, we urge selfish politicians and reckless newspaper editors to refrain from whipping up sentiments and causing national tension on such cases before the full facts are known. Kano State is densely populated as it were. It hardly needs abducted people from sparsely-populated
Bayelsa State to augment this population.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC explained, yesterday, why it has not arrested former President Goodluck Jonathan following startling revelations on how the former National Security Adviser, NSA, Col Sambo Dasuki (retd) allegedly disbursed over $2.1 billion meant for arms purchase to various individuals.
Alarmed by the revelations, the National leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has, however, asked Dr Jonathan to speak out.
This came as the anti-graft commission disclosed that one of the beneficiaries, the former Military Administrator of Kaduna State, Mr. Jafaru Isah had returned N100m out of the N170m he collected and was given administrative bail to source for the balance of N70m.
Another beneficiary, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation and leader of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Chief Olu Falae however insisted that he would not refund the N100 million he collected from Chief Tony Anenih, which was said to
have come from Dasuki.
Facts have also emerged how former Chairman of Board of Trustees, BoT of the PDP, Chief Tony Anenih and Chief Olu Falae entered into a working relationship prior to the 2015 presidential election.
Explaining why the former president has not been arrested while speaking with online news publishers yesterday, in Lagos, the EFCC boss, Mr Ibrahim Magu said that no document has been traced to Jonathan giving any approval for the disbursement of the money for any purpose other than arms purchase.
He said that all those questioned so far in connection with the money were people who disbursed or collected it for reasons other than the purchase of arms and ammunition.
“All approvals by former president Jonathan did not mention that it was for political purposes.
All the memos approved by him were for the purchase of arms,” he said.
Speaking about Olisa Metuh, the EFCC boss revealed that the national publicity secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party said he would rather go on hunger strike than refund the N400 million he allegedly collected from Dasuki.
Maga also said that Patrick Akpobolokemi, a former boss of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, was recently re-arrested after new evidences of alleged embezzlement of N34.5 billion and another N600 million were linked to him.
The EFCC chairman stressed that the war against graft was not selective and assured Nigerians that his agency was not teleguided in the ongoing anti-corruption fight.
According to PDP, since former President Jonathan was still alive, he should come out and explain to Nigerians whether he authorized his former National Security Adviser to distribute money meant to fight Boko Haram into his campaign.
Addressing Journalists yesterday in Abuja, PDP Deputy National Publicity Secretary Abdullahi Jalo said, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is alive, he should clarify whether he asked the National Security Adviser to distribute money meant to fight Boko Haram into his campaign.
According to Jalo, “Jonathan is alive, he should clarify whether he asked the National Security Adviser to distribute money meant to fight Boko Haram into his campaign. What is important for one to know is that former President Goodluck Jonathan is alive. Has he ever said go and take the money for arms meant for Boko Haram to campaign for me? Is there anytime that Jonathan asked for anything from either Dasuki to go and distribute this money meant for fighting Boko Haram for his campaign?
“As you all know, no single kobo will be spent by the federal government or former President Goodluck Jonathan without the Act of the National Assembly. Some people however decided to divert this money to something else.
“Darkness has now come to light, we have now discovered that it is not only PDP members who collected the money but those in APGA collected, Falae collected, Tanko Yakasai collected. They all collected the money under the guise that they are campaigning for Goodluck Jonathan.
“It is known to us that money meant for campaign are given to the national chairmen of various political parties. We had a dinner in the banquet hall where some billions were collected meant for campaign for Jonathan. That money was meant for campaign. Dangote, Otedola and others donated. So why would somebody tell us that you are taking money meant to fight Boko Haram, which is from an Act of the National Assembly. Any money appropriated is coming from consolidated account of the federal government and its usage must be meant for that”.
The PDP which also disowned the embattled National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh who has remained detained by the officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, said that as a party, it will not fight for his bail and others who have been alleged to be involved in the arms deal scam because they did that on personal levels and not on the platform of the party.
According to Jalo, “the issue of bail does not have anything to do with PDP. Let them tell us how much they have brought to PDP, to the national chairman and the money used for campaign, we want to know from them.
“PDP has nothing to do with individuals that used their companies to get money. PDP has no company, it is a political platform. There is PDP account and they did not even inform the PDP that they had received this money, they just went and slept with their families eating eggs and rice.”
Jalo who noted that public should not misconstrue the unfolding issues with that of the PDP, said that individuals that were presently involved, accessed public funds through their various private companies and not the PDP even though they were members of the party. He added that the Arms fund were an appropriation of the National Assembly to which the former President and Dasuki Sambo were aware of and were aware of the limit of using the funds other than what it was meant for.
The PDP deputy National Publicity Secretary said, “There are a lot of outcries against our members that have been taken to court because they received money from what we called Dasukigate or arms deal.
“The former acting National Chairman, Dr. Bello Haliru, who was taken to court is now on bail, he has a company Pam Proper and Property limited, he was given N600 million under a registered company of Corporate Affairs Commission, you can find out what the contract was meant for. Has he done what he was asked to do with the N600 million?
“Olisa Metuh’s company is Destral investment limited, he was given a job of N400 million. What has that got to do with PDP, you can bear me witness, when Olisa was accusing Lai Mohammed that he collected a contract from one of the states in the West, even Lai Mohammed took him to court, so now the hunter is now the hunted. Lai’s case has not been proved, Olisa is under investigation.
“Let us put the record straight. We want anyone of these people that have been accused whether in PDP, APGA or APC to come out and tell us that the money they collected, was given to PDP or their party. When he was given this money was he given the money to go and campaign for Jonathan, if yes let him show us the paper, let him present an evidence, but whoever was given this money should know that this money was not meant for that, it was meant for arms purchase.
“Thank God the party has kept quiet deliberately, maybe, because some have benefited. If we cannot clean the party now, the future is going to be bleak.
“If the Legal Adviser of PDP, rushes to go and bail out Olisa Metuh now he is doing the wrong thing, because he has to separate the party and Olisa as an individual.

Ahmed Sakida is a journalist and an alleged confidant of the leadership of Boko Haram who has recently disclosed that the abducted Chibok girls are still alive. Ahmed Salkida claimed that some of the girls who were kidnapped from their dormitory in April 2014, have refused to be converted to Islam.

The journalist who made this revelation in an interview with The Cabel, an online news platform, advised President Buhari to open up negotiation channels with the militants.

This revelation is coming a day after Buhari said that his government had no intelligence on the whereabouts of the Chibok girls.

“Most of the Chibok girls, whether they are split into groups or not, are alive, multiple credible sources have told me. And if a deal to release them will weaken national security and endanger the entire country, then the federal government shouldn’t make a deal,” Salkida said.

“I am confident that Chibok girls and other captives can return to their families if the government is half as strong-willed as some of the girls in captivity that have refused to be married out or give up their faith.

“The girls would have never backed out of any process, no matter how irritating it is. They would stay on and negotiate hard until they get a deal that will earn them their freedom and stop such abductions so that no one else can ever witness their woeful plight,” the journalist added.

In the previous years they sell tickets before the show sorry I mean service, so all who wants to attend the 31st night service must come with their tickets to enter the church auditorium. hmmmm!!

But this year they decided to craft another means of collecting this 1000 naira, they made it compulsory for each attendees to purchase an electronic gate pass for 1000naira.

Boko Haram gunmen launched a dawn raid on the hometown of Nigerian army chief, triggering a fierce gun battle with troops, residents of a nearby village to which people fled the clashes told AFP.

However, there was no immediate report of casualties in the fighting as at the time of filing this report.

Abubakar Umar, a resident of the nearby hamlet of Miringa, told AFP that the fighting began at 5:00 am after Boko Haram insurgents attacked the village.

“At one point we could hear explosions coming from the direction of Buratai,” he said.

Troops reinforcements from a military base in the town of Biu, 30 kilometres from Buratai, were seen passing through Miringa.

“Nine trucks conveying soldiers and another four carrying local hunters drove through our village towards Buratai and from what we hear more are on their way,” said Shitu Ayuba, another resident.

Some Buratai residents had fled to Miringa, where they took shelter in a primary school, locals said.

The dreaded Islamic sect had in August taken the bull by the horn by attacking Buratai’s village in Biu local government area, Borno state, killing many and destroying houses including that of a former Commissioner, Barrister Isa Buratai.

“I cannot say how many were killed in the raid by Boko Haram because we left the town while they were still on it. I saw corpses and I saw the house of our former commissioner, Isa Buratai on fire. I don’t know about the people in the house, but about two corpses were seen along the way apart from many others that we saw, ” a fleeing local, Audi Bukar, had told newsmen.

The first attack on Buratai’s village came just weeks after President Muhammadu Buhari appointed Buratai the new chief of army staff on July 13.

In a visit to Borno some months back, Boko Haram militants ambushed the convoy of the Nigeria chief of army staff Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai but were fought off by soldiers under his command.

The convoy was ambushed while travelling the unsafe Maiduguri-Gamboru-Ngala highway controlled until recently by Boko Haram militants.

One soldier was killed and another two wounded when the Boko Haram militants ambushed an advance team of troops moving ahead of the chief of army staff’s vehicle. However, soldiers led personally by Buratai returned fire, killing five Boko Haram members at the spot.

Out of the 162 countries of the world that have been worst hit by terrorist attacks, according to the 2015 Global Terrorism Index Nigeria has been ranked as the third.

Nigeria whicih is the Africa’s largest oil producer, was ranked fourth in 2014. By the latest ranking, Nigeria is only better than two Middle Eastern countries – Iraq and Afghanistan – who were ranked first and second respectively. Another two Middle East countries, Pakistan and Syria are ranked fourth and fifth respectively, after Nigeria.

The only African countries closer in ranking to Nigeria are Somalia and Libya which are in the eighth and ninth positions respectively.

France, which recently experienced deadly terrorist attacks that killed about 160 people in Paris, is ranked 36th, same as the United States of America.

“Terrorist attacks are much more lethal in Nigeria than any other country,” the GTI report said.

Report released on November 16, 2015 by the Institute for Economics and Peace, said the Islamist terror group in Nigeria, Boko Haram, overtook ISIL in 2014 to become the most deadly terrorist group in the world.

The Institute for Economics and Peace is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit think tank with offices in Sydney, New York and Mexico City.

The 2015 GTI report said Boko Haram, in 2014, was also able to spread outside Nigeria to launch two deadly attacks in neighbouring Cameroon, killing 530 people.

Cameroon, the report said, didn’t record any death from terrorism between 2000 and 2013 until Boko Haram struck in 2014.

Although published in November 2015, the GTI report was produced from data gathered in 2014.

In 2014, Nigeria experienced the biggest yearly deterioration in terrorism on record, the report said.

“There were 5,662 more people killed (in Nigeria) from terrorism in 2014 than in 2013, an increase of almost 300 per cent,” it says.

The number of people killed in Nigeria by terrorist attack in 2014 was 6,118, compared to the 1,595 killed in 2013.

According to the report, “Nigeria has moved from the country with the fifth highest levels of fatalities in 2013 to the second highest in 2014.”

In summary, Nigeria recorded 662 terrorist attacks in 2014, with 7,512 people killed, 2,246 injured and 1,512 properties destroyed.

But then, Boko Haram isn’t the only terror group in Nigeria that kills; the Fulani militants in the northern part of Nigeria is recorded to have killed as many as 1,229 people in the country in 2014, which is an incredible leap from 63 recorded in 2013.

Unlike religious fanaticism which drives Boko Haram, the Fulani militants are driven by conflict over access and control of land between the semi-nomadic Fulani herdsmen and farmers in north-eastern Nigeria, the report said.

Nigeria, alongside four other countries – Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Syria – accounted for 78 per cent of lives lost globally in 2014 through terrorist attacks.

Of 20 most fatal terrorist attacks in the world in 2014, nine of them took place in Nigeria.

Boko Haram was responsible for eight of those nine attacks, while the Fulani militants were responsible for one which took place at Galadima where 200 people were reportedly killed.

The worst terrorist attack in Nigeria in 2014, according to the 2015 GTI report, was in Kano city on November 28, 2014 when two suicide bombers and roadside bomb detonated at the Grand Mosque in the city.

Boko Haram terrorists reportedly opened fire on worshippers fleeing the explosions. One hundred and twenty-two (122) people were killed, while 270 were injured.

Nigeria for several years now has been battling Boko Haram insurgency which is responsible for thousands of deaths in the northeast of the country. PREMIUM TIMES has extensively reported on the insurgency.

“The nature of terrorism in Nigeria is different to Iraq and Afghanistan,” the report said.

“Terrorist activity in Nigeria has more in common with the tactics of organised crime and gangs, focusing more on armed assaults using firearms and knives than on the bombings of other large terrorist groups.

“Firearms were used in over half of all attacks in Nigeria and were responsible for 67 per cent of all deaths by Boko Haram and 92 per cent of deaths from Fulani militants.

“Whilst previously the use of suicide attacks by Boko Haram was rare, in 2014 they were responsible for 31 suicide attacks with an average of nearly 15 deaths per attack.

“The majority of these attacks were against private citizens and education and religious institutions. No other group in Nigeria conducted suicide attacks in 2014,” the report said.

The number of people killed by terrorism around the world increased from 18,111 in 2013 to 32,658 in 2014.

The increase is said to be the largest ever recorded.

The report put the global cost of terrorism in 2014 at US$52.9 billion, compared to US$32.9 billion in 2013.

The GTI, which is currently in its third edition, is “based on data from the Global Terrorism Database (GTD) which is collected and collated by the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism”.

The GTI score for a country in a given year is said to be based on unique scoring system to account for the relative impact of terrorism incidents in the year.

“The four factors counted in each country’s yearly score, are: total number of terrorist incidents in a given year; total number of fatalities caused by terrorists in a given year; total number of injuries caused by terrorists in a given year; a measure of the total property damage from terrorist incidents in a given year.”
