Politics / Re: Why Are Igbo Bandits Called Gunmen Instead Of Bandits? by Turantula(m): 3:22am On Apr 09, 2021
gawu1:

Who knows tomorrow!
When it was only in the north some few years ago some people celebrate. In fact, every northerner was/is either a Boko Haram or sympathizer of the terrorists.
When recently it expanded little bit to the ''our peaceful South'', the blame still went to North even though it's well known that no northerner bears Evans, chukwu or obi;
The Evans, chukwu and obi gathering gradually transformed to Boko Haram (Ipob), but they were hailed as freedom fighters;
When they mutated to herdsmen (ESN) the ovations in their support become louder;
They are taking to banditry and kidnappings stylishly, still they are given a cover up name (unknown gunmen).
At this last point now, whenever their activities turn out unfavourable, herdsmen from north are blamed. It is even said fg was behind the recent jail break just to 'get excuses for unleashing terror that would destabilize ''our peaceful region''.
But how long will this cat and rat episode last? Time shall tell.
See them!
You think they are from the religion of piss

grin grin wink cheesy Unknown gun men!
The problem with freedom fighting is that it has a lot of extra judicial killings, Rape, murder, slavery and emotional, physical trauma attached to it! When they get tired of attacking security formations, they get disorganized and lose leadership, a part of the UGM would go off and start a new organized terror group that would start attacking soft targets and demand ransoms, that's how terrorism starts and UGM may be just another group in the crops of terrorist organizations in nigeria

A divided Nigeria is not a perfect solution to our problems.Our problem bores down to our individuality,we have become comfortable with been cheated,we are comfortable with leaving God to punish bad leaders in our society.
For instance my area has bad roads and everyone is fully aware that the local govt has received money severally to fix the roads but the road remains in a bad condition ,and what everyone does is just to complain everyday ,a good question is whether a divided Nigeria will make this people more responsible.
In the course of our normal daily activities do we have problems with trading or interacting with someone from another part of Nigeria? For me NO.
Our problem is not because our leaders are not from our state of origin or tribe.It is simply because our leaders have lost the sense of Accountability and responsibility.If it was because our leaders are from a diffirent tribe,should are State governments not be effective,should are local government not be functional.
Would a divided Nigeria change the current crop of leaders we have.A divided Nigeria will be at least 4 diffirent countries,would this countries all be independent. I believe there is a greater chance of us succeeding as one nation if we begin to do the right thing.
Unity begging at its best. This your long epistle is very very funny grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

owobokiri:
Read carefully:

1)Chad and her blood gulping president know everything about Boko Haram.
This man has been fighting and killing since the 70s. Fought with Nigeria, fought with Libya, sent rebels into the heart of Khartoum some years back.. Idris was born to war...

2)The French and the Americans have some troops stationed in Chad!
Americans have a base in Niger with new facilities for drones!
Under Jonathan, the Nigerian government allowed the Americans to fly their drones across the north east airspace to "gather intelligence" on Boko! Very naive if you ask me, .. Someone might be telling Boko Haram about troops movements!

3)Boko seldoms disturbs Chad!
The Chadian president used to be the army chief in the 80s under Hussien Habre before turning against him. He was the army head when Nigeria fought a very swift but brutal war with Chad over her incursions into Nigeria! Buhari was commanding Nigerian troops then..

4)Locals in north eastern villages have CONSISTENTLY complained of helicopters dropping supplies to Boko Haram fighters in the bush!
According to them, the pilots are mostly whites!
One such helicopter crashed and actually a white was caught, dollars too! Leaks revealed Turkeys involvement. Countries loyal to America refused to sell weapons to Nigeria under Jonathan following Americas instructions..

5) IMPORTANT:
The French are increasingly worried about Nigerias "growth", especially under Jonathan and are thinking that a strong regional super power in west africa will undermine her amazingly lucrative imperialist ventures here! They're thinking of the future here and might be toying with the idea of balkanizing Nigeria..
Idris Derby is a stooge of the French, just like Eyadema, Biya, Bongo, Nguesso, Quattara, and most presidents of French speaking African countries..

6) IMPORTANT AGAIN:
Actually, Nigeria is now totally encircled by western forces, but because we have been very unfortunate with a series of dumb governments, this issue is seldom discussed.
There are French military bases in Cameroon, Niger, Chad and Benin Republic, together with the AFRICOM base in Niger.. All our neighbors! Pretending they're fighting isis, while Boko Haram grows..

Reach your own conclusions but mine is simple:
Boko Haram is a typical western "state destabilizing project" unleashed to subvert the abilities of a growing economy to challenge the neo-colonial status quo! Such projects are not new. Remember the Ortegas in South America? They were fighting insurgents like this, just that it's easier to achieve the goals here with religious zealots.. Shekau doesn't even know he's a stooge. Not sure he knows where his weapons are coming from..But the presidents of Niger, Chad and all these French West African colonies are aware.
What's more? Most of them are getting some crude oil stolen from Nigeria and so, do find the project relatively rewarding! They can't object anyways, if they do, there will be a coup the next week...

Juliusmalema:
Benin Republic Ready To Be Nigeria’s ‘37th State’ – Minister

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, said the President of Benin Republic, Patrice Talon, had expressed readiness for his country to be part of Nigeria.

Onyeama, who stated this shortly after a close door meeting with Beninoise Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Aurélien Agbenonci, said the Beninoise president gave the offer when he visited President Muhammadu Buhari, a few weeks back.

“The President of Benin said as far as they are concerned, they want (not just saying it like that) but in reality, Benin should be the 37th state of Nigeria,” he said.

“We should really be one. They charged us to come together at ministerial level, to work out a framework for a sustainable relationship.”

Onyeama said, at the visit, both presidents discussed agreements between the two countries on how to put the issue of smuggling to an end, once and for all, as a follow up to the presidents’ meeting.

Well this topic has shown that we in the north are taken as fools by accommodating and allowing the igbos own and do businesses.

Thank u for the expose. This will go viral in the north in coming days. And same treatment we befall accordingly. Thank u
My dear, we do sell land to Hausa people but Fulani is a no no. I mean nobody sells land to terrorists and I am sure we wont sell to boko haram too. Northerners are nice people, but those guys from Futa jalon are just evil

I spoke to my father-in-law,a Fulani man himself, a while ago (due to my personal relationship with him, this was the first time I have ever considered the farmers-herders clashes from the perspective of a Fulani man), he explained certain delicate and complex intricacies that makes the proposed ranching system, that used to me a very straightforward one, now seem quite problematic IN THIS PRESENT MOMENT.
The laws in our constitution are not the laws of nature. These laws, as stated in our constitution, are created considering human peculiarities, such that 'general' beliefs even though inclined towards sentiments, as long as they are adopted by a represented reasonable minority and such that IT IS POSSIBLE THERE COULD BE A WAY AROUND THEM with the conditios that it does not threaten the ORDER in the country and the fundamental rights of others (the majority) is not infringed upon.
Having stated the above, it is easy to see that the problem with the proposed Ranching System is that while it is a very logically straightforward solution, it is not the most considerate, therefore not the most appropriate (at least in the short term) and using a method analogous the Occam's Razor for solutions in politics and human relations is unreasonable in my opinion. Open cattle rearing is a culture and proposing a change in this culture must be approached as sensitively as other important cultures of the other tribes. One does not expect that a culture be abandoned overnight, nor that laws guiding a country be entirely insensitive to the peculiarities of the people bound under it.
As in developed worlds, these are the kinds of problems that are confronted by Political scientists, Economic analysts and sociologists, putting forward a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of THE PROBLEM OF HERDERS in the country.
Ritual killing is my culture so you have to bring your mother and father for me to kill because I too dont want my culture changed. Zombie
