You're angry I pointed out the truth? There's nothing silly here, a typical Nigerian hates to be corrected. I studied in Covenant University, Ota for my Bsc and my Msc in UNILAG and both schools are amazing. It's just a correction, nothing too hard. Good luck!

Xnaijaporn:

That was obviously a typo but you ignored the questions and displayed your silly behavior instead.

Oh well, I guess you’re just what Nigeria needs - another Grammar crazed idiot.

You finished with a Second class upper in English, yet you can't spell COVENANT not 'convenant'. Bad punctuation mark in your write up as well, as you're preparing for your Msc, focus on your vocabulary.

You made a good point, my only issue is spelling daughter as 'dota' on a public forum at that.
gerizzim:

oga sir, you don't transfer the sin of the mother to that child. Fine, the mother acted without considering the Dota.
For you to say because the mother left without his permission absolve him of takin care of his own Dota is wrong.

Na the father and mother get issue not the daughter. Even if he refuse to send upkeep to the wife such decision shouldn't affect the Dota's welfare.

Family / Re: I Feel Like Giving Up, I Have Failed My Children by Tushnigerian(f): 9:34pm On May 01, 2022
I have been following your thread, hang on there mama.. what are the regrets and 'ifs' - your kids?
People are going through a lot so please hang on there.
I lost my dad 2020 with two siblings moving to final year, I took loans so pay fees, I was practically a shadow of myself. They both graduated from Uni last year and currently doing their NYSC. I payed the last outstanding of the loan April this year to the Glory of God.
It hasn't been rosy at all but let this be a motivation for you. You can, you will and you must! Don't quit mama, we are cheering at you!
Family / Re: Should I Tell My Mum The Truth Or Not ? by Tushnigerian(f): 4:05pm On Jun 04, 2020
This is a dicey situation, I’d advice you talk to your sister instead, you Uncle can train your sister from wherever, I don’t get this idea of coming to live with someone in the guise of training him/her.
Just sit your sister down, tell her what to expect, and how you felt during your stay there, if your family is comfortable, I really don’t see the need of relocating and intruding on another family really, especially in this time of increasing rape cases, rampant Girls abuse!
Let your uncle train your sister from where she is!

Career / Career Path For An International Relations Graduate(foriegn Affairs,embassy,ngo) by Tushnigerian(f): 10:10pm On Jun 03, 2020
Hello Everyone,

I’m dire need of a mentor for my aspiring career path, I know Nairaland is a place to build right connections, network and mentors. I will be grateful if I can get someone that has walked in my path to help a young ambitious lady.

I am aspiring to be a Diplomat, International Civil Servant like UN, ECOWAS, AU amongst others; I’m also looking at a career path with International Governmental Organisations and NGOs. I have been applying, I’m not losing faith neither I’m I going to look back but sometimes you need that PUSH.
I graduated with a Second Class Upper (2:1) in International Relations, I have a Masters Degree in Political Science from University of Lagos, I did my NYSC in Lagos with a reputable Federal Organization but not my career path.

I plan on Joining the Institute of Foreign Affairs, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, I’m a Graduate member of Chartered Institute of Personal Management, NIIA, I’m taking some courses on Humanitarian and Disputed Studies online. I’m very opened to broaden my knowledge and horizon to make me a better candidate in my field. For my language, I’m a bit fluent in French, I just started a course in Mandarin Language online.

Wonderful People that work with Nigeria Foriegn Service, Diplomatic and Intelligence outfit, International Organizations, NGOs, Strategic Officers, Political Analysts and many more. Please give me tips on how you got the jobs, what more certifications do I need? Do you mind checking my CV if there’s something wrong. I will appreciate feedbacks, messages, I’m open to everything to have sail ride. I’ll be glad if I can get a mentor especially if God is talking to you, I promise you won’t regret it.

PS: I’m 25 years old, based in Lagos but willingly to relocate because I know some jobs are strategic and some have headquarters in Abuja and other States. I’m very open to Internship that will give me a working experience edge.
Family / Re: Can We Beat A 2-year Old Boy ? by Tushnigerian(f): 9:16pm On May 06, 2020
When I saw the topic, in my mind there’s no big deal in correcting a Two year Old, by spanking him on his hands or butt especially when he did something wrong.
But beating a two year old with a belt is a big NO! Absolutely wrong, when you correct kids, you hug them and also correct them in love.
I have two amazing boys so I know how stubborn they can be, the belt was just out of line.

Compensate him with lots of Candy and Chocolates!

Uncle wey mumu! You want us to insult your wife, kudos to that woman.
You’re such a Baby goat, highly irresponsible and very lazy! I’m so irritated, why won’t your wife be insubordinate. At 39, complaints upon complaints, since you lost your job, you didn’t go for any skill sir? No trainings or even buisiness? You’re a fool sir with all due respect.

After you won that contract, why didn’t you press further, you didn’t set up yourself at all, no stock, no bonds, no treasury bills, no investments, you’re a Big Fool!!

You kept saying I, I, you never considered your wife, your wife is stressed, she’s worn out and tired! I’m sure she looks older than a age, you can’t even pamper her yet you complain and complain. I hope none of your children takes after you, everything you listed about your wife are all workable, she’s the victim, I really sympathize with her.

You cannot start Uber because you’re owing rent blah blah, but you can go and enjoy beer and p.soup, gosh, you’re so spoilt. You’re a Lazy man, put your shit together and get up!!! Stupid man.

Family / Re: My Demon Wife Have Finally Absconded With My Son. by Tushnigerian(f): 10:36am On Jun 18, 2019
You bring everything To Nairaland and you allow irresponsible and immature people with no sense of decorum cheer you on in your stupidity!!
Firstly, you have no right to call your ex wife a ‘demon’ The highest thing you can do is pull a divorce if you can’t cope, you did that already so what else do you want? You pin point all her bad sides in the other post, do you know all those points were workable, but pride and lack of communication. Have you sat yourself and see how you’ve been a bad person? Men like you are good at emotional blackmail and possess narcissistic character. Everybody sees you as a good man but your character is worse and always trying to bring people down.
Let your ex wife be, she deserves Love , lousy and uncouth man forming multinational worker. Yet you ask ask for different buisiness advice to venture into, you can’t research, read books and develop.
Take several seat behind and stop acting like a Saint, go go get a lawyer, process your divorce and let the Judge decide whom to give custody of the Child to! She’s definitely right for taking her son for now, she’s a mother!!

Whether you are under your Hubby's nose or thousand miles away, a man that will cheat or keep a mistress will do so! Three hours isn’t so far so he can always come weekends! Go for the job and help him apply in your new state Because his job is nothing to write home about!
Your worries should be fortifying the Union and relationship, extra marital affair is discipline so forget the sidechic excuse. It’s now left for your husband, because even if you stay put, he wants to cheat. He will cheat on the same roof!
