for 1 week now I’ve been trying to book appointment, still no date available. I stay up late refreshing, still nothing

Try at exactly 11:59-12:00. It only stays up for a few secs

Refreshing a captcha sef would even make the page disappear. Not cool

Sirbohr007:
These German Embassy guys are crazy...lol
They add appointment date at exactly 12:00 a.m and it doesn't even stay up to 30 seconds and it's gone. Noticed it yesterday, confirmed it today. So if you really need a date, you should be really fast. Keep refreshing every second from 11:59 p.m

Good luck!

Thank you very much for the detailed response. sorry, i wanted to ask again if taking the documents why by they explained it as a transition bachelors programme could help if i take it along to the embassy?
Adeomam:

Congratulations on your admission!

Since you have already been admitted and enrolled in the Bachelor's program, you do not have to give that information at the embassy because it's between you and your school.

My advice is to come up with a very convincing answer to give the visa officer when He/She asks you why you're going for another Bachelor's program.

The visa you get from Nigeria is just to bring you to Germany. When you finally get here, your school will decide if you'll be enrolled in the Bachelors or Masters program. After seeing your thesis, I expect them to either enroll you into the Master's program immediately or just add more to the ECTS points you need in order to complete your master's program. (so do not be afraid about that, what's happening to you is very normal)

So when you're completely settled in and you decide to apply for your residence permit, THAT IS WHEN YOU HAVE TO BE SURE IF YOU'RE DOING A BACHELOR OR MASTERS PROGRAM BECAUSE IT WOULD DETERMINE THE NUMBER OF YEARS YOU'LL BE GIVEN ON YOUR RESIDENCE CARD

In order words, being admitted, funding your account/finding a sponsor, preparing for your interview and finally getting a visa should be the most important thing to you at the moment! The rest you will do when you get here

This is my one kobo and I hope it helps!

All the best!

P.S Another advice: when you finally get your visa, ensure you bring your signed project handbook along with you to Germany. Better still, in case you're really disturbed about it, scan your entire project handbook (make sure the signature and stamp on it are clear and visible!) and send to your course coordinator.

Hello, I was given acceptance letter to study international mgt and economics at the university of paderborn. But the letter i got was a transition enrollment as Student in the bacheiors program "Business Administration and Eccncmics". Which simply mean't i needed 10 credits(Thesis) from the undergraduate module to begin my Msc Programme.

I mailed them back and said i had my thesis done already but they replied saying i have to bring it germany along so they could check it and decide if i'll be giving a masters admission automatically.

Now, i'll love to ask if i presented this letter to the embassy, will visa be granted?

i look forward to your responses, Thank you

Nairaland / General / 6 Secrets To A Fun Wedding Reception In Nigeria by Tvaddict: 4:26pm On Nov 13, 2017
Well, they’re not really secrets — just super solid ideas.

Jazz Up Your First Dance
All eyes will be on you during your first dance, which means it’s the perfect opportunity to shock your guests. Imagine starting with a slow dance to “At Last” and then suddenly switching to a fast, s*xy Latin dance or a jazzy swing step. It’ll totally throw your guests for a loop and set the tone for a lively dance party.

Give Out Party Favors
Don’t forget that a reception is a party! Let your guests know that it’s okay to cut loose after a formal ceremony by passing out crazy wedding favors at the reception. A few of our favorite ideas? Funky masks, noisemakers, or Silly String. We even know one couple who handed out neckties and encouraged their guests to tie them around their heads on the dance floor. Quirky, but definitely fun!

Plan A Surprise
Sometimes the best parts of a reception are the things guests don’t see coming. Surprise your guests with unexpected entertainment during the cocktail hour or reception, like a belly dancer, a mariachi band, or even a salsa dancer.

If You’ve Hired a DJ, Make Sure You Share the Same Tastes
Okay, this is an obvious one, but it made the list because music is a major fun factor at the reception and it has a lot to do with how long your guests will stay. The last thing you want to see is your dance floor clear out when the “chicken dance” comes on. So, make sure to talk to your DJ about your do-not-play list.

Play Danceable Music
Whether you’ve hired a band or a DJ, if you want to keep the dance floor packed (and we’re guessing you do), plan a playlist of songs that will please the crowd, not just you two. You may love obscure indie rock, but now isn’t the time to show off your discerning taste in music. People love dancing to Lady Gaga and Madonna — so let them!

Change Into Something Comfortable
Let’s put it this way: You won’t have a good time at your reception if you can’t breathe, right? So after the first dance, swap your veil and train for a little white dress. (This applies to grooms too — depending on the formality of the wedding, guys can change out of a restricting tux into a more relaxed suit.) If you and your new spouse are comfortable enough to move freely, you’ll dance more, chat more and laugh more, and that’ll rub off on your guests.

Romance / 10 Secrets Every Woman Keeps From Her Man by Tvaddict: 7:28am On Sep 16, 2016
1. Her best friend knows everything.

She knows all of your vitals—from the size of your bank account to the size of your other, um, holdings.

When her friend smirks at you knowingly, you are not imagining it. She knows. So just know that she knows, and deal with it. (It’s not going to change.)

Chat with her about your relationship at your own risk. Your secrets are not safe with her. This is not always a bad thing (e.g., if you happen to be telling her how much you love your girlfriend). But, in general, remember that she is your girlfriend’s confidante first, and yours never.

2. Just looking at your hands can turn her on.

(Want to know what else excites her? Check out our ultimate guide to sex and seduction, How to Pleasure a Woman. You’ll find hundreds of tricks and techniques to help make you the best lover she’s ever had.)

3. When you go away, even for a day, she sleeps in your favorite old T-shirt.

Because it smells like you.

4. She’ll never tell you exactly how many men she’s slept with.

No matter how sincere she appeared when she answered your question, chances are she wasn’t.

As an unscientific guideline, when a woman says she’s slept with four men, the real number is actually closer to seven.

Her fib is partly intentional (she doesn’t want to appear a floozy), but mostly it’s sexual amnesia. When a woman wants to pretend an encounter never occurred, she simply scraps the man from her official score sheet.

Common excuses that lead to such an omission: The actual sex lasted only a few thrusts; or she was drunk or on the rebound.

5. She fantasized about being with you at least a dozen times before it actually happened.

(Wondering what other kinky things she’s dreaming about? See how to Turn Her Sex Fantasy into a Reality.)

6. She has Googled your exes.

7. When she’s falling in love with you, she completely loses her appetite.

8. Her body really isn’t naturally this hairless and smooth all over.

But she will never allow you to see any indication whatsoever of all the shaving, tweezing, waxing, exfoliating, and moisturizing that gets it this way.

9. She only appears to have it all together.

Her true organization (or lack thereof) is revealed in her closet, her makeup bag, her desk files.

10. She still thinks about her ex-boyfriends and compares them to you.

Mostly you win. Sometimes not.

Romance / Struggles Every Girl With Big Boobs Has Experienced Before by Tvaddict: 5:01pm On Sep 11, 2016
Having big boobs can be a blessing, or it can be a curse. Sometimes it’s really great, other days you just wish that you could get a breast reduction. Now let’s tackles the problems that only women with big boobs will understand.

1.Your boobs try to escape any time you bend over.

2. You vs. Strapless Bras is the great battle of your life.

3. Finding a perfect bikini top is a nightmare

4. Not being able to wear low cut tops without someone commenting about how big they are.

5. You know that putting on a push-up bra is just gonna make you look ridiculous.

Fashion / Why Girls In Tight Dresses Will Never Go Out Of Style by Tvaddict: 12:19pm On Aug 20, 2016
Sure, long flowy dresses are elegant and beautiful but there is something about a girl in a tight dress that always puts a smile on our face. The way it hugs their body, accentuates their curves, gives you an idea of what’s underneath but still leaves some room for the imagination. It brings a certain confidence to a lady when she wears a skin-tight dress that isn’t comparable to any other piece of clothing.

In celebration of these beauties, we’ve created a gallery to appreciate them and their amazing looks! Take a look!

Romance / So This Girl Snubbed Him And Now Regrets It After He Won An Olympic Medal by Tvaddict: 12:51pm On Aug 14, 2016

it can so happen to anylady.. we all know ladies are fond of ignoring guys messages and never texting back.. A twitter user shared her story of how she totally ignored the guy who later went on to beat michael phelps in rio2016.

The whole affair has been decidedly bittersweet for Sab. One the one hand, she’s matched one of the biggest success stories of the Olympic games – her ‘greatest accomplishment’.

On the other, well, she gave him the cold shoulder, which is weird considering that in her message to the athlete – her only message to him – she used that hearts-for-eyes emoji which would lead most men to think they’re onto a winner.

Now she regrets ignoring him..
