I remember one church I went to last month. The pastor kept saying something that sounds like "ji masun" repeatedly when he was speaking in tongues. |

some of the books were removed because of their contents. The compilers didn't agree with the messages in the books |

Paul mentioned an epistle to the Laodiceans in the bible. Jude also mentioned something about Michael and Moses' body that were not recorded in any book in the old testament. Also, he talked about the prophecy of Enoch. These things must have been in some books that are not part of the bible. 4 Likes |

I agree with you Zither. But when you give them a chance out of courtesy, then they pass their boundary. A guy kept coming back to my place just to lure me to his church. I later realised it was their church mandate to win certain number of souls per person to the kingdom. |

I never liked the idea of evangelism even when I was still a believer. It has this arrogant tone, going to people's house to tell them your belief and proclaim judgement on them if they did not agree with you. The worst part was persuading people to follow you to church 2 Likes |

MuttleyLaff, I understand your point. But when you have a problem with a woman leading a family (of small size), you will definitely have problem with a woman leading a larger number of people, say a female mayor, governor or president. I am just inferring anyway. |

If the whole world believed in christianity or islam, we will still be living in the 16th century. The bible warned against acquisition of much knowledge. There cannot be development if people do not seek knowledge and it seems religion is against that 4 Likes |
