Gbawe:
Nairalanders, stop working yourselves up and fighting each other over a garbage thread from a garbage poster. There is no "Alhaji Shamsudeen Usman, Kano APC leader" as the article claims so therefore the spurious article is false from start to finish. The prominent Shamsudeen Usman Nigerians know is the economist who was Minister of national planning under GEJ till 2013. That Shamsudeen Usman is a refined technocrat who is usually politically neutral and I do not know when he transformed into a "Kano APC leader" let alone a garrulous one who speaks uncouthly like a motor park tout. This utterance they now attribute to Usman is as silly, as out of character and as improbable as the diatribe they claim Soyinka ridiculed the Igbos with. Yet we all know ethnocentric bigots will believe anything that targets and maligns the ethnic group they live to hate. This is the sort of opposition some want to play for the next four years i.e opposition of lies, stupidity, shamelessness, mudslinging, fabrications, character assassination and ethnic hatred/disharmony.

Folks should do some basic investigation before allowing themselves to be baited by mischief-makers and bitter losers determined, by hook or by crook, to undermine the relationship between the North and SW they foolishly believe to be about everything except the agitation for good governance. These hateful elements will all be disgraced. They can create fifty lies daily and attribute such ungodly fabrications to as many prominent Nigerians as they want , same as they did with Soyinka lately, but this will not stop APC delivering good governance that will genuinely transform Nigeria as the PDP has been unable to do after 16 years in charge.

Thank you.
Ibo can cry all want- its too late!

Life is not all about you guys. Selfishness at its peak!!!!

Why didn't you say all these rubbish when Jonathan filled up everywhere with incompetent Igbos? Igbos utterances in the last couple of days has shown how hypocritical and despicable you guys are.

After Aguiyi Ironsi regime, Nigerians thought there would never be a govt administration laced up with tribalism, bigotry and nepotism until another half-Igbo man became a president. Take a look at this list below and tell me if any president has ever done this except Aguiyi Ironsi.

President-Igbo
SGF-Igbo
CBN - IGBO
Speaker deputy - Igbo
Senate deputy - Igbo
Minister for Finance - Igbo
Petroleum-Bayelsa
Printing and Minting - Igbo
Nafdac -Igbo
Health - Igbo

Even the Hausas/Fulanis in military have never done this above show of shame and pure tribalism. And Igbos were quiet all through that administration cos others were marginalised.

Jonathan removed other tribes from head of parastatals and put Igbos there but that would be addressed now. Bureau of statistics was filled up with Igbos.

The Igbo man in charge of population related parastatal even made an attempt to inflate the population of Igbos by trying to run the previous census down so as to pave room for manipulation but Thank God for Nigeria senate who saw through that tribal plan. The map of Nigeria alone says a lot without doing per head counting.

I wish this coming administration could pay you bunch of Ingrates in your own coins

ONITSHA — Ndigbo Unity Forum, NUF, an Igbo social-political organisation, has set a five-point agenda for the Preisdent-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), as a means of pacifying Ndigbo in all its ramifications.

Top on the agenda is ensuring the execution of the second Niger Bridge project, as scheduled; use of reputable persons from the Eastern region in his government, as well as giving the region an additional state.

President-elect Muhammadu Buhari (L) waves in Abuja on April 1, 2015. Nigeria's new president-elect Muhammadu Buhari hailed polls that will lead to the first democratic change of power in Africa's most populous nation as "historic" hours after he secured a decisive victory. AFP PHOTO

In a press statement issued, yesterday, in Onitsha, Anambra State, shortly after its quarterly meeting, NUF also asked the President-elect to reduce accidents on federal roads by constructing a dual carriage way since most of the roads were currently single lane and in a state of disrepair.

According to the group, the President-elect should also implement the national confab report as this will help fortify national unity.
NUF said after examining the outcome and transparency of the just concluded 2015 presidential election, it had no other option than to congratulate the President-elect.

“NUF is confident that the President-elect will give Nigerians the desired change that will steer the economic and security situation towards the right direction.”

I see! Islam made Yoruba Christians like Obasanjo, FFK, Ebenezer Obey to be procreating like fowls.

Okay.

FFK married three wives and boasted of his promiscuity with many women.

What is Bianca guilty of?

Getting married to Ojukwu and staying put until his death?
You are basing your stats/assumption base on the general lifestyle of celebrity and or influential personality. Hence while I uploaded tonko dike and bianca et al to back up my claims that indeed ibo are as guilty as yoruba.
And once again I want to ask u, isn't bianca as guilty as femi? grin

You never proved me wrong because I never said polygamy/promiscuity in marriage belongs solely to Yorubas. I said they do it more rampantly than Igbos because their culture encourages it.

And you keep proving me right mentioning and glorifying Femi Fani Kayode who is known to have married three wives and boasted of his promiscuity.

What else?
I did agreed, didn't i? And that's cos the percentage of islam is higher than that of ibo.
I will post more link/prove» if that's what u want. It's nothing to do with tribe but personality and religion being -islam....and as for bianca and Fani? ain't they both guilty? This is where u seem to often get it wrong:always quick at pointing accusing fingers at others while u ignore your shortcomings grin
You are getting emotional NOW

Your first picture shows that I am right about Yoruba people. It portrays a Yoruba man to be boasting about sex outside marriage (even though the claim is unfounded)...and you, another Yoruba man are glorifying his purported promiscuity.

For your second pic showing one Igbo girl that decided to help improve o Yoruba guy's future generations, below I have proof of 12 Igbo girls who are getting married to Igbo guys.

Also asterisked are two Igbo girls who got married to non-Igbos who aren't Yoruba. I told you every tribe want to marry Igbos, not just Yorubas.

Not a single Igbo girl out of 14, chose a Yoruba man.

What do you call 0 over 14? I call it F9.

These are all Lagos Igbo girls, as you can see, it's St. Dominic Catholic Church, Yaba.

You see that what you're saying are fallacies.
You are getting to emotional now.
Time and time i've proved you wrong that this cut across tribes.
There is no need for these out pouring emotions and long episode at all.
As for the rest of your the theory, me thought u are being emotional and super fiction.

Still can't provide any concrete example. Your Tunde and Chichi could easily be a lie.

And you already admitted that Yorubas are polygamous/promiscuous in marriage.

So what else?
You are sounding just like a lady now.
What else do you want? I just agreed that indeed few(yoruba muslims) are as promiscuous as ibo as well.
What has happened to the picture, 90% prostitutes which are ibo ladies.
Do u want more link,prove?
Most lagos ibo girls are highly promiscuous and wayward.

And as for chichi and brother tunde..its so true oo
Come to lagos and see how your ladies are being taken every sat.

Below is another prove/link grin grin

So you agree that Yorubas are polygamous and promiscuous. Case closed.

That's the point. Igbos do it rarely and hide it when they do it because it's seen as a taboo. Yorubas do it openly and frequently because it is the norm. That's how the culture encourages it.

You hardly find such traits among yoruba christians. grin
The high percentage has lot to do with islam-religion aspect-islam.

Who are Yoruba Christians? Those ones that go to Church on Sunday but have some babalawos that dictate everything that happens in their lives? Even Yoruba people show this to the whole world on Africa Magic so it will be foolish to deny it. Yorubas are just polygamous/promiscuous in general. It has nothing to do with religion. Even Yoruba Muslims who can marry 4 wives still have children outside marriage. Islam forbids that.

Obasanjo...Ebenezer Obey...Sunny Ade...what is their religion?

Once again go figure while ibo women are trooping and saying yes I do to yoruba men every sat! No be small thing oo grin

I understand your excitement that few Igbo girls are saying Yes to Yoruba guys. Who wouldn't want an Igbo girl in his home over a Yoruba girl? I'm also happy for the few Yoruba guys who are trying to better their future generations by going through all the stress to travel to the South east, meet all the requirements and marry Igbo girls...when they can just impregnate Shalewa in Lagos and give birth to more of the same.

However, you should pity your sisters. Nobody is marrying majority of them. All over Lagos, they are doing 'aristo,' getting pregnant for other people's husbands and bringing up fatherless and mannerless offsprings. That's where you should focus your energy.

Then again, if you show evidence of one Igbo girl that married a Yoruba guy last Saturday, I will show you ten Igbo girls that married Igbo guys.
You are taken this too personal ma'am.
And yes not because of beauty or cos there is something so special about ibo girl it's cos they are easy to get and plenty here.
Now talking about you assertion, I must correct that it's few but many indeed.
grin
This remind me this last sunday when another Tunde and sister chichi wed was announce before the congression.
Ma'am/ sir do you live in lagos at all? I guess u don't hence while you are finding it difficult to accept uhn?

Yes I agree most yoruba muslims are and the reason is obvious.
Their religion tally with marrying as many wives as possible , and yes ibo girl are very very promiscuous. I'm tell yaa ma'am.
Look at the prostitution industry it's been hijacked from edo girl, ibo girl, especially imo have taken over industry.

..and the married, none married, Cheii they are as good at abortion as a professionals.
Point blant? Ibo knows how to hide their waywardness while yoruba don't. Gbam.
As for the rest of your comment? You no nah lie nah sister ehn grin
Gudu morning oo

Supreme Council of the Elders of Indigenous People of Biafra has received an invitation from the United Nations (UN) to attend one of its meetings in New York in June, the first invitation to such a meeting since the Biafran pressure group came into existence.

Deputy Chairman of the organisation, Dr. Dozie Ikedife, disclosed this to Daily Sun in Nnewi at the weekend. He said a delegation of the pro- Biafrans would be leaving Nigeria for the June meeting as soon as the group raised logistics for the trip.

Asked what request the group would make at the UN, he said: “We have no other request than the recognition of Biafra, recognition that we exist, recognition that we have the right to be given the opportunity for self-determination, that the Indigenous People of Biafra have the right for self-determination, which Nigeria should allow to take place.”

He said in December 2014, the organisation sent a delegation to Nairobi, Kenya at the invitation of the African Union (AU) to attend its Economic, Social and Cultural Council meeting.

Ikedife insisted that the group would continue to pursue its right for self-determination without breaching any municipal or international law.

“The only setback, which can discourage us, is lack of money to finance the project. You know dissemination of information is not cheap. We have a radio station called Voice of Biafra. We also have difficulty in financing it because we think the people we are fighting for will appreciate the effort, but they have not bought into the idea of supporting the movement,” he said.

He assured that the suit for self-determination filed by one of the arms of of the organisation, Billie Human Rights Initiative, against the Federal Government at the Federal High Court, Owerri, would soon continue now that judiciary workers had called off their strike.

PoliticsRe: Non-indigenes In Lagos Must Respect Their Hosts– Akiolu by Twistaray(m): 1:12pm On May 11, 2015
sanky346:
The Oba of Lagos, Riliwanu Akiolu, says there is a need for non-indigenes in Lagos State to respect the tradition and culture of their host.

The monarch said this during an exclusive interview with our correspondent.

While responding to a question on the threat he issued out to Igbo residents in Lagos State if they did not vote for Akinwunmi Ambode of the All Progressives Congress, Akiolu maintained that he had no ill feeling towards Igbo in the state as some of his closest friends were Igbo.

He said, “Eze Odimegwu, who is a former CEO of Nigerian Breweries, is still my best friend as well as many others. The Obi of Onitsha came to visit me here a few days ago. When you go to a place, you have to respect the host leaders, particularly the traditional leaders there because you are coming to benefit from their success.

“The people of Lagos are the friendliest and most accommodating people in Nigeria.”

He said the video which showed him issuing threats to Igbo leaders was a misrepresentation of what truly transpired.

He said the issue was twisted by those who wanted to gain political advantage ahead of the governorship election but God put them to shame.

“Those who orchestrated the entire incident know themselves and I tell you, those (Igbo leaders) who came here on that day understand me a lot and have even been coming since then,” he said.

Akiolu said many of the non-indigenes were deceived by politicians in their quest for power.

He said, “The man that promised to hand them deputy governorship slot and four commissioner positions and would elevate the status of Eze Ndigbo to that of Oba of Lagos has since denied it.

“It was all a political gimmick because I am sure they know that he was only deceiving them. As a matter of fact, prominent traditional rulers in the South-East have been writing us to say that they are not happy about the large number of ezes in Lagos.”

He urged all Igbo who won elections in Lagos State not to disappoint the people.

The monarch said he was confident that Ambode would do well in office.

He said Ambode would serve as governor for eight years not just because it was the will of God but because he would perform excellently well. He, however, said Agbaje was free to contest again in 2019 if he wanted.

He said, “By the Grace of Almighty Allah and my ancestors in this house, the Governor-elect, Ambode, will rule for eight years with a good performance.”

He said he had nothing against the Peoples Democratic Party or its governorship candidate, Mr. Jimi Agbaje, but noted that all humans are equal in the eyes of God but are not equal in the love of God.

He said Ambode proved his competence by saving the state from financial hardship when it was deprived of funds from the Federal Government.

Akiolu said he was not a politician but was only interested in the prosperity of Lagos and would continue to support the best.
