Yes it is a business lesson to all of us, but we should not forget the saying NEVER SAY NEVER. They have already studied the characteristic of Nigerian market and discovered that giving us quality products with low price will break even and that's exactly what they did combined with aggressive adverts ( huge capital investments) to endear the hearts of many Nigerians thus making their products house hold names especially among the students. Don't forget the purchase of the right to BBM etc or what do you call it.

Chinese guys sure know how to take over market. I saw them sometime ago in the remotest part of my village, hawking lace materials this also shows the extent they can go to get the market share.
Phones / Re: MTN Customer Care Agents Are [Incompetent] (Complaints) by Two4Two(m): 9:20am On Dec 31, 2013
Quiet frankly and without any gender bias all the customer care for ALL the services providers are grossly incompetent except for the menfolk. I had the experience of their incompetency a couple of months ago when i wanted to subscribe to (Glo, etisalat, MTN and Airtel) data plan in my office desktop. First i purchased a universal modem and a Sim card Etisalat precisely, chose the prescribed data plan it didn't work, called their CSO they could not offer any meaningful solution. This goes to all of them. The menfolk, even when they speak to you, you will appreciate their efforts. To cut the story short, i had to carry my CPU to Glo office at Allen before they fixed it, and it didn't take them more than two minutes to configure.
At the end, i have to buy all their modems to be able to work.

My wife had a similar case (over one week now) with Airtel on her techno F7 till now they have not configured her to use it to browse even when they have collected the money for the data plan she chose.

What this guys do is to rigmarole you so tey you will get tired and come to their office because they are not competent enough to proffer solution remotely.
I AM SURE THAT MANY OF US HAVE EXPERIENCED THEM ONE WAY OR THE OTHER

Good for her, but why didn't she buy it before now, just asking.

Didn't she buy a very expensive car previously? She could have bought the house first then the car second.

Btw , source @ op.

Whether its car first or house second it is her money and her choice. You should be happy for her instead of suggesting which one comes first

I have already said it a few days ago that the Nigerian POLICE that i know do not know the value of expensive gadgets. I also mentioned that all this vehicles will not last more than one year and all of them will be history. Only God knows the kind of deal that the Governor of Enugu state had with KIA Motor company to secure those cars for Nigerian Police Enugu state command.
Politics / Re: Mixed Reactions On Enugu's Kia Police Cars by Two4Two(m): 8:50am On Jun 07, 2013
An absolute waste of state funds. They should have just purchased the TOYOTA or PEUGEOT brands that are rugged instead of the Fiber and plastic KIA RIO brand.
I bet you (with my life)the Nigeria Police that i know will damage those cars in a matter of weeks using it to chase okada riders, commercial buses, and driving against traffic. Their mentality for taking care of expensive things are not ripe yet may be in the next 50 years.I stand to be corrected.

Sorry guys i dont seem to understand what is going on here may be some people can educate me more. Does it mean that the tree just got itself uprooted like a flash and killed such a number of people without them knowing that a tree is falling. I have seen many giant trees fall especially the Iroko tree. When they fall because of their size it is usually gradual especially if it falling from its roots. May be this case is more of a supernatural phenomenon.
Contributions please.

Yaribawa:

Why must every calamity in Nigeria be a regret in hindsight for not following Ojukwu's lead? There were security breach and calamities in Nigeria before Ojukwu became anybody, there were calamities in his time and they will be here after him. Dude, this has no bearing on what Ojukwu foresaw or was blind to.....

This YARIBAWA of a guy is living in delusion. Cant you read the hand writing on the wall. That this blood thirsty quys want to islamize a whole country therefore blood must be shed. How possible do you think it is to islamize a whole country?. Believe it or not Ojukwu has foreseen these long time ago that is why he tried to secede but unfortunately Nigerian army which is mainly the northerners and their alies in some southern states collaborated to ensure that this did not happen ALAS we are all reaping the fruits now. The fruit of tribal politics, nepotism sectionalism, Favoritism, corruption, religious bigotry, Greed, selfishness etc. what can you say of a section of a country wanting to rule a whole country as long as they exist. Is it not to enslave others and make them second class citizens? what can you say of a section as dry as a desert wanting to have the wealth of the entire nation all to themselves?. Go to Abuja and see for yourself how the illiterate hausa fulanis are awarded contract only to resell it to you and make his cool money. Can you do that in Nigeria? Dont you notice that most of the juicy jobs and postings are exclusively reserved for them in the military, paramilitary government agencies etc. Go to most of these formations and see them speak hausa as if it is the official language even when they are addressing their bosses can you do it. This is not the Nigeria we are dreaming of.OPEN YOUR EYES WELL TO SEE AND READ THE HAND WRITING ON THE WALL.
