Good day all,

As requested by cic to present a new letter of acceptance and also evidence of paid tuition and deposit of living expenses for the upcoming year, the institution has agreed to defer her admission and also sent in a new funding letter attached. Gurus should please help peruse, as I think the letter is explicit enough to tackles VO's request for tuition and living expenses.

Wife is on full funding of full tuition for two years and 13k living expenses per year and we also submitted a statement of 5M in the first application courtesy of father in law (bank reference and affidavit of sponsorship included while applying in January)

Will this funding letter suffice?

Please what's happening on this thread. The last time I heard TRV testimony was February (Apart from those who applied outside the country). Am disturb and about giving up. Had I known I would have chosen another country from day 1. These VOs are just so stingy with TRV. Please my people can someone suggest another good country I can spend my HARD EARNED money for fees and get PR afterwards. Me I no won put my head for one basket jare.

. Pls dnt give up hope. Trust God,He is at work. Pls kindly advise if I'm to write to Accra for study permit after getting Visa or is it automatic?

Hi, I also applied for student visa for my PhD last month. I applied for both TRV and study permit. Please is there a way to contact CiC for a feedback on the application? School resumes in May and I'm a bit concerned that time is going.

Applying for student visa online for PhD and have the options of filling the temporary residents visa (TRV). Please wat is the effect of not applying for the TRV along with the study permit. ?
Secondly for my kids of below 6yrs. It is also optional, how does not filling the forms affects they ability to study while in Canada?

Is it possible to do medicals without a letter from cic to go for one? pls advise, my school resumes in May, I need to do all I can do to facilitate my visa processing. Can I go for medicals in one of the listed hospitals without a letter ?

@Galaaxy;' I submitted my passport in person at VFS and it was ready for collection after 4days of submission. I didn't use the Courier means but since you used the Courier service, your passport will be delivered earliest when the visa has been issued. You need not worry about the passport been delayed cos it will definitely get to you ASAP. U can still go ahead to track the progess of thins. Lest I forget, your passport has been processed and ready for dispatch if you receive an email from CIC few days after submission that your application status has been updated''

hi, pls I need to confirm, I have not received a mail in my CIC to update my status but got an email saying my passport has been dispatched to me. what can this mean? I went to checked my CIC account when I saw this mail and saw that it has been closed and this application approved.no email was sent to me to that effect.
I haven't gotten my passport cause it was posted today. tried tracking but it was collected from their office today

akanni: the cheapest and only option for you will be form A cos you get the funds at official rate.The 5 different fees is a strange one, i will advise you meet the head of operations of your bank and clarify. you should be charged 1% of the naira equivalent depending on the banks anyway.if you have the dollars, you can also initiate a foreign transfer to the school if you have the school details.Hope this helps.

hi pls I want to ask your opinion about paying tuition to school accounts from Nigeria. I went to my bank and was told I have to pay like 5 different fees and fill 'form A 'before they can send my fees. pls any other cheaper means. I was told the western union transfer don't work in Nigeria. pls I need to confirm cos its sure cheaper. what other means do u suggest.

hi, when did you collect your TRV after drop off. pls I need to confirm that apart from the N6200 for CVAC, I have to pay 4500 for tracking and posting my pasport back to me when I submit or I still ve to collect in person.

abisolmi: i have been trying hard all day to post a message on here to no avail. How una dey? I landed safe in Edmonton yesterday to the glory of God. To those who applied for visa before June 1, na gobe o, you will have to apply for your work permit on CIC website even if you land Canada after June 1. This was my case, I saw the restriction on my study permit and the remark didnt say i could work twenty hours off campus. I saw another who applied June 4 and though the restrictions were same as mine, it was written that he could work twenty hours. there really was no hassle at Toronto immigration where i got my study permit, the letter of introduction was not even all that important cos the immigration lady said to a guy beside me "if you dont have anything with you, its fine, we have everything in the system".

Luftansa Air is really nice but, air Canada did feel like an "air bus" lol. my Nokia X did not work, shame cos i bought it newly. don't know what else to say but, its still summer, thank God and i don't want to think of winter just yet.

it is well. I was still so worried this morning. I was relived when I saw that I passed. guess as humans we are always so anxious. cast your cares on God n trust him for the best.

I did my medicals in Asaju last Tuesday during the public hols. exactly 5 working days.

To the glory of God I passed my medicals. praise the Lord on my behalf. I just got a notice to bring my passport now.

im done with my medical using the online route to apply.pls will I be required to send any other document with my passport?

Hello all. Pls I need information about medicals and where It can be done. To the glory of God I just saw my letter for medicals. I applied on the 25th june did biometrics .
I live in rivers state.
Pls has any one used prime medical before. How efficient are they. I Dnt mind coming to lag if PH is not as fast as lag.
Pls recommend from experience an hosptial that will send results on time. What does the test entail.?
