It was last night at 10PM or so, I was in my bed reading some contents on my phone when I heard our chickens making all kinds of worrisome noises. "What's happening? This is unusual" I said to myself. I got off the bed, put on my short, grab my torch, opened the door to go know what was wrong! As I was about to step out, something popped right into my head "this could be dangerous, pick up your goddamn machete boy!" I did that and headed to the yard.

When I got to the yard, I didn't waste no time illuminating the cage from where I was, a few feet away, then my eyes caught the threat! a long ugly snake, already coiled around one of the legs of the cage. I was perplexed, was it actually trying to climb and enter the cage to go give my chickens a few deadly kisses? It won't happen! seeing the light, the snake slowly uncurled from the leg of the cage and began sliding towards me, Jesus! I dropped my machete, picked up a 6ft stick lying on the ground, moved closer to the creepy crawly creature and struck it's vitals severally until I was sure it was dead!

I couldn't do a lot last night, just had to cut off it's head and tail and kept it's carcass until this morning when the needful was done!

Looks like a Black-necked Spitting Cobra, what y'all got to say?
