What has been exposed as top military sabotage of the so-called war against Boko Haram, has not yet ended in the Nigerian military according to continuing reports from the battle front. Nigeria’s top Boko Haram negotiator, Australian Dr. Stephen Davis recently revealed that Nigeria’s former Military chief, General Azubuike Ihejirika is a top sponsor of the Boko Haram terrorist group. This perplexing revelation answered hundreds of questions Nigerians had on why one of the best armies in Africa remained unable to defeat a handful of ragtag terrorists living in harsh conditions like Robinson Crusoe in circumscribed jungles in the northeast. But since this army chief was sacked this January, we have continued to receive disturbing reports of a continuation of top military level, army chief implicated, sabotage of the so-called operations against Boko Haram. The sabotage sacrifices men of the Nigerian army and allows Boko Haram recoup continuously and conscript more young youth from the north, creating a permanent, endless cycle of loss of life of Nigerian northern youth. Most recently it was complained to us that the recent valiant action of an army commander in recovering Damboa from the hands of Boko Haram last August, surprisingly earned him a transfer and got him replaced. This is very hard to believe, but our sources have confirmed that Maj. Gen D. M. Kachalla who led his men bravely and tactically and was able to recapture Damboa from the Boko Haram terrorists was immediately thereafter removed from his post and transferred out of Borno State. Maj. Gen D. M. Kachalla with his special force defeated Boko Haram and reclaimed Damboa without any causality on the army side. It has been noted that the Special task force who defeated Boko Haram in 2013 after the state of emergency was declared, and killed the original Shekau in August of that year were all transferred out of the State likewise by the Military chief that very August shortly after they reported killing the original Shekau and that was when the stationary army division 7 was suddenly used to replace the effective JTF and Boko Haram was allowed to forcibly conscript more unfortunate northern youth and the sect was allowed to recover fully. Evidence suggests a level of cooperation between the leaders of Boko Haram and Nigeria’s implicated army chiefs. Military vehicles and weapons are left for the terrorists and capable army commanders are transferred out. Also the Civilian-JTF who Boko Haram hates and fears the most were significantly undermined and incapacitated by the former head of the army, General Ihejirika. They remain sidelined and obstructed from engaging and sacking Boko Haram under the current Military Chief, General Kenneth Minimah. The United States Assistant Secretary for Africa Affairs, Linda Thomas-Greenfield this week described the Nigerian military as literally a sham now, stating that it has lost practically all left of its reputation. www.news24.com/nigeria/MyNews24/Military-commander-who-recaptured-Damboa-transferred-out-20140918 |
adigunomomama: Thank youHe can check for date only with a confirmed payment receipt. |
NADAL5: Hello tzetzefly....pls an uncle of mine wants to write to the consulate general in lagos, to inform them of my visit to the state which he is the one sponsoring my trip...my question is, does he need to quote my DS-160 confirmation number or any oda no from the DS-160 form, before he can write to them??Sorry to tell you this, your uncle's letter will not be read. |
abubu79: I v bin to germany twice, currently my wife n I have a german visa wit d intention of visitin USA as tourists,bt my wife is a first time traveller, she jus got her first visa on her virgin pp,wats our chance of being issued a US visaHer ties to Nigeria will determine her chance of success. |
basica7000: good day my gurus.....pls I was issued a US b1/b2 single entry visa in August to attend a conference ....I came back to Nigeria dis September ...You dont qualify for a dropbox. |
oyidiyaagbayi: Please, my sister is invited to the US by my brother as a tourist, what are the likely interview questions for this visa category. Does she need to go for medical report before the interview as her interview is scheduled for October 8.What your visit to the States entails and you dont need a medical report to attend an interview. |
VisaOfficer: In this case, the excuse that "I was only naive and uninformed" sounds an awful lot like "I am the sort of person who believes it's acceptable to be dishonest if dishonesty can help me reach my goals." If you were refused under 214(b), it's not a permanent ban; but this will be on your record forever. It won't be impossible to obtain a visa in the future, but you're right, you've seriously undermined your credibility with us. ![]() |
buster: Good day everyone. I am new to this thread and I need advise. I intend travelling to the USA for a medical conference in Georgia. A well known multi national hospital in India is willing to cover all expenses including flight ticket, hotel and all other expenses. I have a letter from the hospital stating they would cover the expense. But am a little bit worried because they didn't give me their statement of account. Is the statement of account needed at the embassy or would the embassy confirm themselves. And also do I need to present my own statement of account even if am not the one paying for the tripYour statement of account will be required. And your application will be subjected to an administrative review to ascertain that multi-national organisation willign to sponsor you. Terrorism is rife these days. |
hollabeesy2014: Good morning all, plz i need a little clarification on this. i and my hubby were denied a usa visa last week, d purpose of travel was to have my baby. I intend to reapply , d question is will it be safer to reapply alone or we reapply together?Reapply together and only one person is to travel. Your spouse can come visit you when it is your EDD. |
adigunomomama: Can he apply befor the month end becos the conference is coming up on Oct 1st?Yes, he can apply before October 1st. As long as there's an available interview date. And being mindful of the fact that the situation that led to an initial denial has changed or it was an initial error from a decision reached by the VO. |
lightofjoy: Hello house, I just got a loan of about 1.2m two weeks ago. I intend to apply for Spainish visa with the total balance in my salary account is 1.4(including the loan). Can I apply & the loan will not adversely affect me. Below are my conditions: I work in a multinational, monthly pay #220K. Kindly advise me.Lump deposit in an account for a visa application is a redflag. Build an account gradually to meet up with a visa standard. |
tracyjacobs: i've bin following this thread n its quite informative, thanks for the good work, i want to apply for a shenghen visa to france, i was refused a uk visa before, my passport is expired n i hope to renew it before applying, i have a company registered under my name, married with a 4yr old son, i donot have any landed property, what are my chances of getting this visa, or would it be better if i try applying for a student visa? What's your purpose for travel? |
maddock: @mofella and keniApply where you know is more convenient for you. I would also not advise you to change location so soon, makes a CO wonder what is chasing you from Lagos and put your application in doubt before it is viewed. Your application is dependent on your ties to Nigeria and the benefit of this conference on your job. Never mind, another VO will interview you and not the same CO. You claim a travel history you cannot prove. Take your other passport with your claimed visa present in it, for future interview. |
adigunomomama: @tzetzeflyAs soon as his status improves or if he can now show that an error was made in the initial CO's decision. |
maddock: Thank you tzetze, your input is highly appreciated. But with respect to your reply my job is sales related/business development and the training is sales related, negotiations, leadership etc. It's an executive leadership program. Just like other short executive courses run by other business school in nigeria and all over the world. There is no sign of desperation from you based on a single application. Desperation starts when after several denials, an attempt is made to change your status so as to influence a visa outcome in your favour. |
keni: Hello tzetzefly,South Africa and Dubai are both good travel experience when they both have a solid bearing on your current situation and not to influence your current visa application to sway the VO in your favour. Meaning: embarking on those travel so soon in order to influence your current visa outcome. |
justwise: @tzetzeflyThank you @justwise. A little service for humanity. |
kuzeh: Thanks so much and does that require a change in appointment date because I already exhausted the number of times I can changeThen you have no option than to attend that interview and hope for an oversight from the CO. |
maddock: Thanks tze-tzefly. Yeah I was amongst those refused and the interview went very well in my own opinion anyways. Just normal questions like:First, your lack of travel experience was key to your refusal. I wont be surprised this applies to your other colleagues. Second, your itinerary may not have fit into the conference or seminar you want to proceed for. Meaning, how does your job relate to the event in the States? The slip is to differentiate each group from the others. It has no significant effect on the visa outcome. |
pipz: To see his family especially his children, my cousins after a very long time and also get to know the US. There is no transcript yet as 1st semester exams is just going to begin October. Letter from the HOD? Can my acceptance and admission letter suffice. Or do I just reschedule the interview and get these docs in place as my interview is this Wednesday .Suspend your travel date till six months time when your first and second semester exams would have been verified. This will show a long term commitment to your studies. |
maddock: Please I need advice from the gurus in the house. We are a groups of about 18 people recently applied for an entry visa to the US to attend a short program. Only 2 of us were successful and d remaining 16 were denied. The fact is that the remaining 16 in my own opinion are very qualified as as they are responsible family men and women and have very comfortable jobs. The course is supposed to be in September and also in November. The first application was Done in Lagos but the groups intending applying again in Abuja. Do you guys think it would be an issue to apply in Abuja instead of Lagos where we first applied and moreover we intend re-applying in a space of two or three weeks from the date of earlier denial. Would the group be seen as desperate of its just a normal thing. I really do not understand how this US visa thingy works, because the course fees, flight, hotels, feedings etc have been fully paid and the Institute which is a popular business school equally send an IV letter to the embassy stating all these. But yet it was mass denial for the applicants which cuts across bankers, owners of flourishing business, highly placed executives in pharma coy, etc. So please tze-tze what's your opinion? Why were the 16 applicants denied and 2 issued with visas? A transcript of what transpired during your interview will be needed to assess the situation. NOTE: Anyone can be refused a visa irrespective of your position and stand in the society. |
pipz: Hi @tzetzefly. Very well done for the service UR offering to UR country men here. What is your purpose for visit and how well do you know this uncle of yours? You will need a letter from your Head of Dept, transcripts from your admission office addressed to the US Mission sealed in an envelope with the school stamp across the flap. |
kuzeh: I submitted my ds form and indicated travel date as 10th September but got an appointment date of 22nd September which is past the date I filled in the ds form. .. I now intend travelling on the 2nd October. .. Do I need to fill another form?Yes, you need to state a date for travel ahead of your appointment to avoid refusal. Fill another DS-160. |
kuzeh: Tzetzefly,Your question is not explicit. Can you please rephrase it again. |
sigeo: @tzetzefly, thanks for the good work you're doing sir. I'm a married biz man and wanted to know how to go about securing a shengen visa. I have a building in lagos with an approved plan but not a c of o and a fairly buoyant account. However my passport is virgin. Do I have a chance and how do I go about it. Thank you sir.A virgin passport so to say for a visa on a trip to France, will be greatly difficult task. Try going to the UK for now to boost your travel experience. Get your documents ready: tax papers, payslips, C of O, bank statements>> personal and business, etc. Good luck. |
Emblem: Tzetzefly,Fill up another DS-160 and for an expedited action on another interview appointment slots, contact a customer care representative on this helpline: +23414406297 |
Anewdawn: Pls tzetzefly and house, do I still need to get an appointment date since I'm to use drop box for my renewal or do I just go and drop d passports after payments and filling d forms online. Pls I need proper guidance.Go on along and drop your passport. If an appointment is needed, you'll be notified by the Consulate/Embassy as the case may be. |
Emblem: .........though my wife has a valid US visa which she got while in the Uk but she can't travel with me right now because she just got a new job and she's not yet entitled for a leave. That's so sad and nothing anyone could do about that. If you have a kid, take 'em along with you. |
adigunomomama: Tzetzefly pls help me on this...Subtract your expenses from your income on a monthly basis then add the monthly figure together to arrive at your earnings in a 12 months period. Now divide the total by 12 months to determine your average monthly earnings. |
Stevenjel: Thanks so much bro. I really appreciate this. By my interpretation of this info, it seems my guy isn't qualified at all. His father and mother are Nigerians, and he didn't live up to five years before taken to Nigeria. He does not qualify. |
Stevenjel: @tzetzefly: I greet sir. Kindly assist with this question please. I have this friend that was born in France but brought back to Nigeria at age 3. He is now 31 years of age.
