you re only comparing app opening speed.....which can also be due to software advantage....but why not try open a game nd see the difference in smoothness,or export a created video on powerdirector nd compare the speed...or run antutu and see who finishes first..

Opening of apps doesn't really put the full processor to work...but last last, 8xx series from 835 is faster(both in opening app(minus software advantage) and doing intense work) than all new 6xx ND 7xx series.....

Ps: when comparing speed nd antutu, stock andriod will have an edge over skinned andriod e.g lg v30(lg ux) average antutu7 is 189,000 while Nokia 8(stock) is 207,000

that's the thing. And that's what most people care about, opening apps and guess what, those midranges are fast enough. Why spend so much for what my usage won't be needing?

the matter is far from speaking for itself here. Show me the 845 vs 675. Cos from what i saw here, the difference btw 660 2ys chip and 845 1yr after is just few secs. Infact the 660 is more than good enough for me here. I don't play pubg, most pple don't, phones are fast enough these days. The most noticeable differentiating factor in phones these days is surely the camera and you saw what happened there. If someone takes your phone and starts opening Facebook, Twitter and so on, he will hardly be bothered about the speed (660) but will surly about the camera.

Imo ... A sd 675 ain't no slouch.... It's fast enough. But there's is a saying, wen horse no dey na donkey dey run... Because a Lamborghini is faster than a camry spider doesn't mean the spyder is slow and at most times, the Lamborghini would be moving at same speed lvl as the spyder... So yes sd800 series is definitely faster, but if an individual is using their sd675 as dey normally would without comparing to anyone, it's more than capable, in simple terms it's fast.... And as for the sd 8 series, you'll experience flawless usage, especially anytime the beastly adreno is called upon,... So at the end of the day, both users are experiencing flawless usage,... Without comparisons... Moreover who dey pursue u and mind you, you're not competing with anyone... Mind ur biz.

there is difference bro, let's talk storage speed u can't compare ufs in the sd 8** with emmc in sd 636, It's like comparing hard disk to ssd, it's not everything that is marketing. you mentioned social network, scrolling thru post is definitely smoother on the sd8xx series than any 6xx, I really doubt if you used an sd 835 honestly,. Midrange processor has improved lately but mid range will still be midrange and flagships will be at least 40% faster than midranges(40% is not marginal), that's just the way it is,

Boss not all of it is marketing stunts. If your SoC is powerful, it is powerful. You can't compare 835/845 with 675 that's not accurate. Even if is a micro second...fast is fast. Go ahead and watch Gary Sims SoC tests on YouTube and see the difference in speed.
Even the 660 test I was almost falling asleep and it was compared to the 821... Qualcomm know what they are doing.

A colleague of mine tried a test with opening apps on my Mi A1 ans his Infinix Note 3. We were to get an information on the internet. Our phones were off. By the time he was typing the keyword on Chrome, I had already gotten the information, checked pricing on bother Jumia and AliExpress while his own hadn't even finished loading the chrome page. Fast is fast. And this is only the 625, imagine what the 855 can do...

lemme ask you, have you used a snapdragon 8xx device before? If yes, you'll know phones are faster than phones and not all Qualcomm processor are created equal. If I have to make a choice, I'll take the Sd845 over sd675 any time, considering the price self pocophone is like a steal

yes 835 and comparing with 636 it's not night and day. The difference between the 2 is less than 2secs, even micro seconds. On the gpu side, there may be noticeable difference but not for someone like me and most people out there who only use their phones for social networking and surfing, few games etc. Lets stop falling for these marketing stunts

The processor alone is enough reason to consider it(for some pple), it's quite faster than the 675 and the gpu in SD8** series is no match for dos in SD6XX

the 675 can handle almost anything thrown at it. Phones these days are fast enough even low end. Will pick 7pro over poco any day any time. That's me anyway

aside the processor, which in my opinion is just marginally faster, the note 7 pro is the all round winner. From design to camera to price (after stabilisation)

So....today , I was able to use someone's tecno camon 11(not pro) .....the phone was in a plastic 360 case, but it was very light,and slim....the phone looked big,bigger than the infinix hot 6(compared side by side), the screen ratio was Good in real life, but the screen color doesn't pop(just like every tecno) .....so i went to the camera....lo and behold.....the camera was pure sh#t ...the colours were just dull, wasn't sharp,and was grainy....I tried portrait mode....it wasn't accurate at all(was either a miss or hit).....so I went to front camera.....it was total rubbish(so grainy,beauty mode will just vex u), as for the bokeh, the background nearest to one's face wont be blurred (getting a good portrait mode with the front camera was by God's grace).......anyway, d only thing the phone have is aesthetic and big screen.....
