Boss I did took that step, I was told to go to their head office which I did, they didn't see it as a robbery or scam case but somehow put the blame on me for not calling the bank (Diamond) immediately. I report the stolen phone to the police and they bill me for 20k. But they said it was 50/50 chance and they started asking the worth of the phone, and if they haven't transfer the money in my account. I couldn't answer those questions, I just told them I'll be back.

Speaking of price to match specs at a good bargain the infinix is far ahead of the Xiaomi.
For example the infinix note 5 rocks a Mali G71 gpu, a 2.0ghz octa core processor, 3 gig ram, 32 gig Rom. Plus every other common specs are not in the bad range plus she have the most required sensors.
Many persons just come here to talk without proper understanding of this stuffs. You pay excessively for something u don't really need for example you will pay the cost of sensors you may likely never use on phones but personally speaking that does not make the better since most of the things you pay for you don't really need hence a waste of resources.
So personally price does not mean better since a vast majority never really use what they paid for because the most likely will never use this stuff.

So for me the Infinix is a better pick in terms of required specs for money I really don't need the additional stuff some Xiaomi phones may claim to offer for cut throat prices since I will most likely never use this stuffs hence a waste of precious resources .

It can but the frustration you'll get from either EFCC or Nigerian police (not like they're different anyway) will be far more than the actual crime. The banks too are usually slow and will keep stalling like you're bugging them.

For the EFCC, You'll be asked to open "file" of which cost shall depend on what you've lost & your net worth.
You'll pay to get documents e.g. affidavit, warrants etc at ridiculous costs, Virtually every move they make will be financed by you

Guy, just pray you'll never experience such theft in order not to use their services

Same poo happens to me last year march when my redmi note 4 was stolen from me on my way home in the evening. I call customer care to block my line immediately I got home, but it took them like 30 minutes to pickup. Long story short, I went to the bank next morning and it was not funny. 100k gone. I request for how the amount was drawn, they said through USSD, but I've never use bank USSD on my phone before. They said yes the thief activated it for me, since my register SIM is with him. All this operation happens within 10 minutes. The phone is still useless with him till date. SIM lock is the way forward, Airtel customer service advice.

don't even let me expose Xiaomi mid range phones with useless processor mtchew Xiaomi note 6 down are equipped with useless processors and any SPD GPU 512 is useless. Xiaomi make their best phones with mi ,mix,poco and why the Bleep did they include ads on their phone....bsomeone compared Samsung with Xiaomi baba if I tell you how many cores , displays used on Samsung flagship you will regret comparing the two. yes Xiaomi makes affordable phones with good specs just watch now Samsung has joined the league. believe it or note note 7 supposed to come with better processor but though pro version came with better GPU.

All I see is facts and zero lies but I wish those sales reps will stop suggesting trash and actually render advice to patronizing customers. I could remember when I was in school and was making use of a really dope Lenovo device and my brother at home wanted to get a phone but was impatient for me to get back home so he followed my Mother and got an $80 piece of trash called Tp-Tel like what the F and the sales rep was the one who advised my brother to go for it. I mean this phone had a Samsung clone-like ROM installed with WhatsApp but the app never opened for one day, it was like the love child of Nokia C2 and Sony Ericsson but retardedd at birth.
