I guess you are amongst the lots that buy things only because of brand name. I am not saying that Samsung and Apple are not brands with good product, but fact is that their phones are overpriced.

High price does not always transmits best quality. OnePlus, Meizu, Xiaomi et al are Chinese brands that make devices as equivalent as Samsung and Apple and can give them run for quality and best price.

An American recently gave a full review and comparison of his iPhone 6 Plus that he bought for about 200k with the new midrange Nokia 5 that he recently bought for about 60k and he ended up confirming that IPhone was truly overpriced as his new Nokia 5 gave him almost everything he needed that his IPhone 6 Plus gave him.

In fact he even mentioned that there are somethings he achieved with his Nokia 5 that he couldn't do with his IPhone.

At the end he came to the conclusion that he will be going more for phones that cost less and of quality than IPhone that is pricey with quality.

You probably don't know that Samsung and Apple are just enjoying brand leverage, that's why their phones are pricey but people still buy them.

Just the way LG home appliances these days are almost costing higher than many other brands. And I don't see LG as the best in home appliances

I bought one nonsense Chinese fone called Kimfly M6. i regretted ever buying it cos i didn't even use it up to 2 good weeks and the memory crashed, i had to go for a panel replacement which cost me 8K.

I later gave the fone to my junior bruh cos mere lookin at it annoys me.
I bought it for 28K, repaired the panel 8K making 36K - money for a good phone tho.

Though i didn't buy the fone because i wanted to use it, I just bought it for review purpose.

I have been confused for weeks wen i saw this xiaomi-thread. I did a lot of finding and comparing. In the end the picrure quality was my drawback.
I finally summuned courage and went for samsung galaxy j7 pro 2017.
The phone is wow.
If u want battery. Gaming etc stick with xiaomi-redmi-note
But if u are a phonpixture and quality freak. Then u hv to be careful.
This note is for confused people.
But for xiaomi fans good luck and enjoy.

It is good that you are agreeing that those that paid $190 got better cameras because they paid more.

Good morning Xiamen. So I decided to show off my gold coloured baby 4x yesterday so I removed the case and I was seated on a half wall and next thing I heard was... I couldn't move. It was my friend that helped me pick up the phone. Just a lil bend and scratch on the edge and the tempered glass split. Thanks to noobody I have 3 extra replacement glasses. I've put the case back on! No more showing off!

Maybe there are no official pronouncements but that doesn't override the fact that it is wrong for them as a brand to make fones of the same model with different sourced parts. Definitely one will turn out well than the other.

Now, some customers are lucky to get ones with a better camera while some are left in a sorry state —even though they might have all paid the same amount depending on the seller. Xiaomi should have just given them different names just like they distinguished note 4 and let us make our choices.

No one is cheated you say? Imagine, I paid same amount as most people here, we are probably enjoying same functions but some are enjoying a better camera.

NB: I won't be this disappointed if all RN4Xs are the same but subjecting me luck is what I don't fancy.

BTW I got to know about the camera sensors used in RN4X on the MIUI forum and not here
