Politics / We Haven't Suspended Livestock Transformation Plan — Presidency by Ubijus1(m): 9:52pm On Jul 09, 2019
The Presidency has clarified that the National Livestock Transformation Plan of the Federal Government has not been suspended.

While advising Nigerians not to worry about the 30-day ultimatum given by the Coalition of Northern Groups over the suspension of the nationwide implementation of the Ruga settlement for Fulani herders, the Presidency advised the CNG to respect the Office of the President which, it said, took the decision in national interest.

The Senior Policy Adviser (Agriculture Interventions Coordination) in the Office of the Vice President, Andrew Kwasari, stated this in an interview with journalists in Abuja during a training session organised for the executives of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria and its executives in eight states considered to be flashpoints.

Kwasari said, “No, the National Livestock Transformation Plan has not been suspended; in fact, it has been enhanced because Mr. President, in his wisdom, has spoken and directed that this is the plan that we should be working around to implement.

“We will need an all-encompassing committee of the National Economic Council, National Food Security Council, and Federal Executive Council working together to deliver this plan. So, for us, this is the type of leadership that the country needs. So, there is no mention of suspension whatsoever for the NLTP.”

President Muhammadu Buhari has, in compliance with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, submitted his assets declaration forms to the Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB, which by law must precede his oath-taking slated for tomorrow, May 29th.

The duly completed forms were submitted to the Chairman of the CCB, Professor Mohammed Isa, on behalf of the President by Sarki Abba, Senior Special Assistant, Household and Domestic Affairs.

The forms, as signed by the President and sworn to before a Judge of Abuja High Court showed no significant changes in assets as declared in 2015 by him.

There are no new houses, no new bank accounts at home and abroad and there are no new shares acquired.

The Chairman of the CCB commended the President for leading by example by declaring his assets in accordance with the law.

Crime / Geoffery Mgbada Stoned To Death By VIO Officers, Umahi Orders Investigation by Ubijus1(m): 11:06am On May 14, 2019
Wakanda.ng Reports that Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state has condemned the recent killing of the former member of the Abakaliki Capital Teritory Development Board and Secretary of the Elders Council, Chief Geoffery Mgbada and called for thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

Umahi in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Emmanuel Uzor described the death of the elder statesman as callous and ordered full investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death in the hands of thugs who paraded themselves as Vehicle Inspection Officers.

Part of the statement read “the Governor on hearing about the death of Chief Mgbada expressed great sadness and ordered the Commissioner of Police to arrest and prosecute the suspects who paraded themselves as VIO Officers. Let it be known that the Governor in a town-hall meeting with Ebonyians proscribed all task-force agents working under any guise using the state government as cover”

“In the proscription order, the Governor also dissolved all revenue and tax agents in the state at all levels with a promise to convoke another town hall meeting where a new tax and other revenue will be deliberated and agreed upon and the Governor is yet to convene this meeting before this ugly incident “
“The Governor is saddened by this careless death and wishes to dissociate the state government from the illegal activities of the VIO and other task force agents in the state and directs for immediate arrest and prosecution of such illegal tax or revenue agents “
He further commiserated with the family of the deceased and vowed to ensure that justice is done while urging the members of the public to resist illegal revenue agents as the only body legally permitted to collect revenue on behalf of the government is the newly inaugurated Board of Internal Revenue.

It will be recalled that Chief Geoffery Mgbada was allegedly killed in the early hours of Tuesday by suspected members of Vehicle Inspection Officers, VIO who were on illegal duty along Presco-Ezza road, Abakaliki.

The deceased who was said to be driving with his wife was intercepted by the VIO and in the cause of their illegal duties, argument ensued which led to one of the VIO agents to push him and he felled and hit his head on the concrete road and died.

However, two members of the team were immediately arrested by the Anti Kidnapping Unit of the Nigeria Police while the leader of the illegal team, an old man was equally arrested.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the mortuary at the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki.

Celebrities / Nigerian Comedian, Craze Clown, Graduates From A Medical School In Ukraine. by Ubijus1(m): 12:48pm On Mar 12, 2019
After almost 10 years and time in Ghana, Nigeria and Ukraine, the comedian graduated from the University of Kiev with a degree in Medicine.

The comedian revealed in a long Instagram post that he had graduated from the University of Kiev with a degree in Medicine.

We all know Craze Clown as one of the first faces that offered us undiluted comedy in the form of skits on social media. According to the post, the comedian had first written matriculation examinations, JAMB and failed at several hurdles, before getting admitted to University of Legon, only to be withdrawn as he could not meet the increase in school fees.

At returning to ‘Square One’, he added, he finally got a visa to the Ukraine where he enrolled to study Medicine at the University of Kiev.

Even here, he faced the task of finding balance between his craft and his studies while managing personal tragedy with the death of his father in 2005. It was a journey that spanned almost 10 years.

Craze Clown’s story is nothing short of inspirational, especially at a time when more young people face circumstances that can lead them to alternative and often ‘illegal’ paths.

Webmasters / 4 Facebook Marketing Hacks To Help Increase Your Conversion/sales Rate. by Ubijus1(m): 5:50pm On Mar 03, 2019
You see, it's either you're making money on Facebook or you're making money for Facebook.

Do you know how I sold over 600 copies of my book - 16 secrets on how to win multiple scholarships in Nigeria and also grew my forum - www.Wakanda.ng to over 67,000 Membership in less than a year??
You guessed right - majorly Facebook Marketing.

Let me share some tips to help you make money and more money on Facebook.

Attention is the new money online and Facebook does a wonderful Job at selling your attention to advertisers daily.
According to Forbes, Facebook makes over $4 million daily from selling your attention.
Good Job right? Yeah, I know!

Facebook isn't just that addictive chatting app, it's a large market place; arguably the largest online.
However, to get good results, you must know and do what works.

So, let's discuss 4 of the many hacks that can bring good conversion. Shall we?

1. Compelling ADS Copy:
You see, you typically have less than 10 secs to impress on the mind of a lead and grab his further attention using your ads copy.

People are looking for value; solutions to their pain points and they won't look twice at your ads if your copy doesn't state your solutions in the shortest possible time.

Your copy must be precise with your value and call to action.
Many things are justling for the attention of your leads on Facebook and your ads copy should tell him why he should give you more attention.

Take a look at the title and first paragraph of this post to see how I tried to steal your further attention.
Thanks for the attention though, lol.

2. Your Ads Objectives:
You see, there is a reason why Facebook compels you to set your ads objective - be it engagements, link clicks or others.

Facebook algorithms work with your set objectives to deliver your ads to the most relevant audience.
You see why a wrong Facebook Marketing objectives can't produce the right results??
No be magic ooh!

If you're promoting a product for more sales, the best objective would be web traffic to the sales page on your website or blog.
Depending on the results you hope to achieve, learn to use the right objectives for better results.

3. Timing:
I don't know when you run your own ads but ads run by Remedy Nwankwo get more engagements in the evenings and that reduces the cpc - cost per click.

Yes, you heard that from me, go try it!

4. Targeting:
I deliberately reserved the best hack for the last. I wanted it to be for those who will get to this point with me and finish the post.

You see, targeting is at the heart of FB Marketing.
You may do other things right but when your targeting is wrong, your ads won't perform much.

For instance, if you create an ad to sell a luxury house in maitama for 2 billion naira and you target me, your ad will fail.

You know why? It's because I love good things but I don't have the purchasing power - thus there can't be conversion.

Let me show you the targeting example I used to sell over 600 copies of my book in a short time.

Product: a scholarship book for undergraduate students in Nigeria.

Target country - Nigeria.
Target Age - 18 to 23 years.
Target school - I will pick up 10 or 20 universities in Nigeria.

Now, the implication of that targeting arrangements is that my ads are shown ONLY to student of specific ages in specific universities in Nigeria.
This increases my conversion since my ads are shown only to people who most likely need my product.
Good job, right?? Yeah...

I suppose you got good value here, share this post with your friends.

So, to fellow marketers, what other hacks would you add to the list??

Let's talk in the comments.
