Phones / How To Block Spam Msgs & Calls In All Mobile Phone platform by Uchefrancis16(m): 9:30pm On Dec 05, 2014
This is not funny at all. As nobody is left out. We are all victims to the spam messages sent by Nigerian telecommunication Networks; MTN, Etisalat, Glo, Airtel just name. They even goto the extent of calling with different numbers you and when you eventually pick up you hear music or a ladies voice trying to advertise one or two products of theirs.

The worst of it all is that now not just the telecommunication companies send this spam messages. Other individuals who own SMS Short Codes like 5021, 5030, 5031, 33240 just to name a few rely on this spam messages to make money once you reply to such messages. See more of this numbers at the buttom of this post

I wouldn't want to say much. You all know how we Nigerians think. Since there is a possibility of making money by sending this spam messages, you don't expect it to end any time soon. So its your duty to cut your phone off from it. And let others suffer it. At least that's the advantages of being informed. Just follow the step below for your type of phone to put an end to it;

How To Stop Unwanted Spam Messages On Android

You need an app called WhosCall.
==>Download and install Whoscall HERE
==>Open it up and Tap on Blocklist => Add Blocklist.
==>Finally follow the prompt.

How To Stop Unwanted Spam Calls & Text On Blackberry

==>Download Phone Warrior from Appworld HERE This app
==>Blocks both unwanted text messages and calls.
==>Offers callers ID look up
==>Blocks unknown numbers
==>Auto detects spam messages / calls and block them.

How To Stop Unwanted Spam Calls & SMS On iPhone

As usual IOs users will have to let out some few boxes to get what others enjoy for free. To block unwanted messages and calls on Iphone you need an App called iBlackList. But its not free. Get iBlackList HERE But if your iPhone is running iOS 7 pls follow the instruction HERE to block unwanted calls and text on your phone.

How To Stop Unwanted Calls & SMS On Windows Phone

If you use a Windows Phone 8.1 you can easily bar calls and text from a particular number. Just
==>Goto System=> Settings
==>Scroll down and select Call+SMS Filter
==>Agree with the service terms and turn it ON
Now each time a number you wish to block calls you, go to your call history, tap and hold that number and select Block Number from the pop up menu. Alternatively you can download Call+SMS Filter HERE

How To Stop Spam Calls & Text On Symbian/Java Phones

For symbian, download NetQin Mobile Security 5.0 and for java there is really no much option to choose from other than to text STOP to 33111 to bar MTN from sending spam messages to you. Having finished that, here are more lists of the numbers used in sending this spam messages and calls. Pls use the comment box to include yours if not included here.

Google Adsense application and approval is now becoming more like a nightmare to many bloggers as there has been many complaints of Google not approving a site far even after the 5th Application. The thing is, it might really not be your site that isn't Adsense worthy but just one silly mistake you keep repeating over and over that keeps your site from being seen as Adsense worthy by Google. Here is the step by step guide on how i applied, got past the two stages of Google Adsense verification and actually got it displaying on my blog just within 3days. And mind you this method will also help your blog grow more. As there are other methods that can get you verified within 1Hour. I will be posting that later. Continue Reading...

Good evening pals, just got back from work and i want to share my story with you. I also need your contribution and experiences.

I work at Festac but i live at Apapa. I boarded a Mile 2 bus at Festac. When I got to mile2 bustop by 7:30pm, I boarded a danfo bus (LT35) to Apapa. The bus has five rows and i was at the middle. As we left mile2, there was traffic immediately after the bridge.

While pressing my phone, the girl at the extreme back near the window who was pressing her phone shouted "JESUS!!!!" We all looked back thinking that the truck behind us was about to hit us.

However,what we saw was a young guy in all black attire and a face cap trying to pick up something from the floor outside.

Suddenly, the conductor started shouting "Ole! Ole!! Ole!!!" (thief thief thief)

Before the conductor could even get down from the bus, the guy took to his heels. He ran into the other side of the road and we didnt see him again.....That was when we realized that he had stolen the Samsung S5 belonging to the girl sitting near the window..

And that was it, the phone was gone just like that. I was in shock till i got home.

Share your own Mile 2 experience.
This is not the first time things like this is happening. Its not right to operate phones or any gadget at all while on the road. Girls do this a lot especailly once with all this billion dollars phones. Before was BB and now samsung. They will always want to show off. I guess she just learnt her lessons.

So i have been hearing about the Infinix Zero for a while,and as a samsung and blackberry loyal customer,i thought it was all talk,until i was given the phone recently. And i can say this,for a phone that will be sold less than 30K,it is virtually a steal! For one,the Camera quality is out of this world! I mean,it rendered me speechless. The screen is HD,with corning Gorilla glass! it even has 3D wallpapers!I played candy crush,while checking Instagram,at the same time tethering(using the phone as a mobile hotspot) and the phone lasted several hours without getting hot! No freezing or apps closing anyhow,the phone is sleek and stylish i just thought something must be wrong for it to be this affordable! And i found out it will only be sold through e-commerce and only on Konga,hence the price since all the outlets expenses and selling to stores who in turn add their own prices is out of the way. Everybody who has seen the phone with me all loved it! The Infinix Zero really is worth all the fuss!
I love this thread shekena. If you want to root this device==> http://www.techdavids.com/2014/11/final-resort-ideal-method-to-root-your.html

Education / Re: Six Hardest Courses To Study In Nigeria by Uchefrancis16(m): 1:32am On Nov 22, 2014
firstkyn:
Medicine:
The fact that it involves human life makes it even more
challenging; it takes longer number of years than any
other course in Nigeria before they are tagged qualified as
it deals with human life, the students are compelled to
read heavy-weighted textbooks and they engage in
reading almost all the time . Passing MBBS is another ball
game and includes courses like Anatomy, Biochemistry ,
physiology, this poses a lot of worry to medical students ;
most of them even go for thanksgiving when they
eventually pass . Medicine as a course requires a lot of
commitment from the student considering the length of the
courses and examinations involved .
via: telegraph.co .uk
Chemistry:
This may sound easy and more fun when viewed from
practical sense but in a more academic sense it involves a
lot of math and physics making it more challenging to
study. It involves nomenclature, reactions , stoichiometry ,
molarity and thermochemistry and host of others .
Engineering:
As the name implies involves designing . “ Engine students
“ as they are fondly called take wide range of courses in
engineering faculty including petroleum engineering , civil
engineering , electric and electronic engineering and host
of others before they even get to the point of handling
courses specified for their department, and of course there
are lots of professional exams to go through before one is
qualified as a professional engineer to practice in Nigeria .
Law:
This requires a lot of skills and hard work. Law students
read a lot of written materials and must comprehend , and
accurately recall legal provisions and use the relevant law
in new situations. They must be able to take a logical
approach and apply knowledge to factual situations. It
also involves length of time , courses and examinations
while in school and after school before one could practice
as a professional.
via: telegraph.co .uk
Mathematics and Statistics:
At first when applying for this course , you could think it
will be easier to deal with , it will interest you to know that
abstract maths is not that easy , it is not just about being
good at calculations ; it involves estimations , calculus ,
geometrics and host of others . It is important that you
know that you may deal with calculations all through your
stay in the institution .
Architecture :
This is one of the most complex courses in faculty of
environmental sciences to study. A lot of time , people look
at it as a very easy course involving only the act of
drawing, it is important to know that it involves much
more than mere drawing and designing . On graduation
they are faced with lots of professional exams before they
are able to practice as a professional. add ur own
OP you should have atleast included som margins to make this post easier to read. I agree with the guy that said something about physics. That course is hell especially in FUTO.

Phones / Re: MODIFIED: How To Get Free Wifi Connection Anywhere, Anytime. by Uchefrancis16(m): 7:36am On Nov 21, 2014
Vikkie14:
Need to stay connected? Don't panic. There are several ways you can find free WiFi wherever you are.
If you want a quick and easy way to scan your area to find the closest hotspots, check out a free app called WeFi. WeFi lists over 200 million WiFi hotspots around the world so you'll never have to go too far to find a connection.

Another thing to consider is your cable company. Depending on your provider, you may already have free WiFi access.
Another way to connect is by tethering. Tethering is a feature that turns your smartphone into a portable WiFi hotspot. Most smartphones have this capability already built in. To activate it, go into your WiFi settings and enable your "personal hotspot" option. Once it's set, your phone will appear as an available WiFi network, so you can share -- or "tether" -- your phone's connection to your laptop or tablet.
There's one thing to watch out for, though. Tethering does tend to use up your phone's data plan pretty quickly, so check your network's terms and conditions first so you don't get hit with any unwanted charges.
No internet? No problem! Give these options a try and you'll be able to find a free connection, anytime, anywhere.
Did you find this helpful?
OP I gues you found this post on one of those developed countries website and felt like sharing. This is NIGERIA you can only get those number of WiFi you mentioned Lagos but I could assure you a billion time that getting a free one is certainly out of the picture. NIGERIANS ARE WISE
