Good day all.
Update on my August 3rd order.

Yesterday, I checked tracked the order to my amusement I saw an update saying EDI received order sent abroad, I tracked using postal ninja, 17track.net and Nigeria postal services, all saying the same thing...

Out of confusion of not knowing the meaning of such Update and what it signify, I emailed nipost jus to hear that the don't have record of my track number.

Please people of God what does EDI means and what do Nipost mean by such email?...

Anyone who has ever experience this before?...

it means your item is not yet in nipost system.
d item might b in Nigeria but maybe custom held it back or it wasn't shipped.thats d only explanation for the message the adekunle guy sent u via mail.
edi receive kind of mean that Nigeria knows that an item is coming in to Nigeria.
but u dey worry sha.just 4get this thing and stop tracking it

For those asking about December orders, I just received a December 18th order today, cainaio.
According to postal.ninja it arrived Naija on 29th December while every other tracking site is still showing despatched

I actually opened the dispute , but the seller begged me to close it that I will soon get my items, I foolishly did and sorry is the story till now as I'm unable to open the dispute again.
I don't know if it's a connivance between AliExpress and the sellers to be shortchanging people or sellers and the shippers, that I don't know till today

I promised the seller that I would refund when the phone eventually reaches me.

This promise is what is really delaying me from buying new phone.

My too was August order( phone) but was later refunded....
Though still waiting for the phone. I promised the seller, I will refund the money if phone arrives....
He even said, I should refund 80% of the phone money

I collected an item today that got to the State HQ on the 28th of November, it got to my P.O two days later but I wasn't called according to them my number wasn't clear. The guy I normally get my items when I asked early last week he said he is not sure it has arrived. Now he said he was checking items that weren't collected and he saw and recognised my name so he checked his records to get my phone number.

Sometimes it pays to be friendly with people.
