InvertedHammer: / There is time in life for everything. Even gestation has its period. If after 9 months there is no delivery, people get worried. If a child is born earlier than 8 months, it calls for concern as well. At 2, a child is supposed to have crawled and then walked. At 24, one should have graduated from college or learned a trade skill. There is also a retirement age. We may pretend but life has its cycle: Silver, golden age, you name it. Can we redefine life because we want it to selfishly fit into our loser lifestyles? Of course! Your life, your prerogative.
If you are 40 and single, there is no more vivid way to define a COLOSSAL failure. You are a loser! The person's conscience tells him/her. No pretense necessary. Must everyone get married? No! But those who don't or can't shouldn't try to convince others that it is normal. Isn't that what trans is all about? Forcing others to believe that alternative lifestyle is normal.
Go and marry!!!
/ Choose one: A 40yr old single man who can feed himself and loved ones. Or a 40yr old married man who cannot feed his family Your answer will determine whether you know what a COLLOSAL failure is |

BiGVEEN58: It's very rare for a random Nigerian to see something good and advice you towards it. Lol. They tell you go and marry because they want the suffering from their miscalculated move to go round. Married people will never tell you the truth about what's going on in their lives or genuinely advice you about marriage. They want you to enter that trap also.
MISERY LOVES COMPANY. If you even check well, 95% of those saying "go and marry" are poor men who can't even provide 3 square meals for their families |
Romance › Re: "Go And Marry" As A Yardstick For Failure by Uchesis: 10:37am On May 30, 2025 |
franchasng: Lol, according to Maslow's original law of hierarchy of needs, there are five sets of basic needs: physiological, safety, love, esteem and self-actualization. These needs are related to each other in a hierarchy of prepotency (or strength) beginning with the physiological needs that are the most prepotent of all.
Marriage is part of man's needs, the need becomes more pressing when a man attains financial stability.
So op, people telling you to go and marry are not doing any bad.
I wonder how a man would derive complete fulfillment at 40yrs, financially buoyant and no family of his own; no wife or kids. It's going to be a very sad, boring, disorganized and messy life If I have uninterrupted electricity, unlimited data, and the latest Playstation console, tell me why my life will be boring. Me wey no get power to be yelling at children |

F117nighthawk: Only failures look for excuses and other means to justify their incompetence , cluelessness and lack of capacity
Success is relatives. So,if you say govt fails - what happened to your - -_Local govt, -Your State Governors ( your Emperors), - Your National Assembly Legislatures - who now got N1B for Reps and N2 Billions for Senator - as Constituency Projects - since Tinubu came to Power but their Constituency Projects,if they are really Serious- now have elongated Funds- for their respective Constituency. Only a fool will believe those legislators are getting those humongous monies for the betterment of the masses. We know how the owner of Lagos plays his politics. Everything is just for 2027 elections. Ask yourself this question....who will hold them accountable for how they spend those money? Is it you or the man who gave them the money? Be wise bro |

mysticwarrior: The Germans slaughtered 6 million Jews and 27 million Soviets during WW2 yet they are still thriving. The US slaughtered millions of native Americans, and obliterated hundreds of thousand innocent Japanese citizens when they dropped the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs and yet they flourish in all areas. The French and Belgians massacred In Congo and other African countries. The Japanese committed genocide in China, Turkey slaughtered thousands of Albanians. All these countries are doing very well. All these people you just mentioned...which of them slaughtered its own people? Nigeria is killing itself. That's why we are not moving forward |

The new waste disposal company he brought in couldn't work at the capacity of the PSP leading to heaps and heaps of garbage all over the streets and roads. His unwilling to work with the blueprint put in place cost him his 2nd term bid From this your statement, its obvious you are not in Lagos. We Lagosians know what cost Ambode his 2nd term bid |
